After not eating here for a *long* time we tried eating here again once lock-down had finished. Happy to report that we've been delighted with the quality of the food and have eaten here a few times since. Even better the food has been consistently good too.

Ordered online, but supposedly payment didn't go through, so paid cash when collected takeaway, and told no problem we refund if comes out of your account which it did. Fact they have a bit online on site regarding refunds, is a giveaway. Rang lots regarding my refund, for owner to ignore me, and not return my calls.. charged twice for a very disappointing meal.. go elsewhere. Food not good, definitely not worth being charged twice for,. customer service disgraceful. Appalling. 👎 I'd leave and give not 1, but it won't allow me not to even mark 1.

First time ordering from IK and we are not disappointed. Food arrived in good time, hot and so tasty! We will definitely be ordering again

Rang this evening to order a meal for delivery only to be informed that you do not accept card payments over the phone. Unfortunately for you I was a first time customer who will not be calling again. Instead, I will be giving my custom to one of the several that I have used multiple times previously who do accept card payments over the phone! I only gave minimum rating as I couldn’t put nothing!

We accept that it was New Years Eve and they were busy but if you can’t provide a decent service then just be honest ! We were told it would be an hour before we could collect our meals, but it was over 90 mins, then the order was wrong ! Then to add insult to injury the food was awful, the worst we have ever had !

Quick delivery, lovely food and great service. Will definitely order from here again, great value for money.

Below is my original review on Just-Eat. There is also an update at the bottom where after the owner responded negatively to my review I reached out on Facebook to answer questions he may have on why I rated their food poorly so they could improve. I even highlighted how on the first delivery from their restaurant the food was excellent! My title should give some hint into how the rest of the conversation unfolded. This is the third but final time we will use IK, which is a shame as it's local. The food was 30 minutes late and after calling the restaurant we were told that they had 'left 10 minutes ago, but the traffic is bad'. We live two roundabouts away. 10 minutes later the food arrived and to be fair it was piping hot. Not sure what they could have kept the food in for 30 minutes whilst sat in traffic for it to be THAT hot. The food quality the first time we used this restaurant was divine. Lovely, soft braised lamb in a well spiced curry with a good balance of tomato, onion and garlic with chilli. Good Biryani with a good level of mixed veg and fresh chicken and an awesome potato 'gravy'. Today I tried something different, a Ruby Curry which was described as, "A good & proper curry redolent with spice & flavour.". However when it came it was luminescent pink instead of the 'ruby' color expected and instead of cashew powder it was loaded with desiccated coconut. I mean, so much so it was grainy and over all not a nice dish at all. Because of this it was so thick it wouldn't pour out. Ironic as it was listed as a Chef Specialty. Also ordered a tandoori chicken starter which was so reheated that the flesh looked like wood and was almost translucent, clearly nowhere near fresh. In fact, the chicken in all dishes we ordered had been cooked previously and was all dry and tasteless. I feel in this current economic climate that eating out is going to be more of a luxury and happen less frequently so I feel I cannot take the risk that the quality will drop any further and will pick another restaurant next time which is a shame as after the first order we were in awe of how good the food was. Update: The 'owner' responded to my comment and was annoyed that I posted my review. I messaged them directly on Facebook and said I was happy answering questions. The owner was dismissive, defensive and told me how wrong I was. He said he was annoyed that I posted the review instead of calling the restaurant (which was too busy to deliver my food even close to on-time) and requested a replacement meal and how it was unfair on restaurants that reviews are public in this current environment. When I pointed out I pre-ordered 2 hours before the restaurant even opened, the curry was laden with cheap ingredients instead of the correct ingredients making the curry inedible (mounds of desiccated coconut) and the food was so late my kids only just had enough time to eat before bed he stopped responding to my messages completely. Seriously, Worcester is blessed with a plethora of Indian food establishments. Pick another and avoid this. The food CAN be good but looking at feedback from many sources it's clear it is very much a roll of the dice.

I’ve used this take away 3/4 times in the past and always had a cracking meal from there but sadly tonight it was terrible. Starters were fine but the mains lacked flavour and the sauces were nothing short of water for both, different, dishes. Neither my girlfriend or I finished our meals and we binned them. Hugely disappointing.

We were both really impressed with the food here. Both our meals were fresh and tasty and arrived quickly. The staff were really friendly, I'd highly recommend this restaurant!

What a little gem! Papadoms with tasty dips, mains full of fresh flavours with good heat too! Excellent rice, moist pershwari naan, crisp dry white wine. Very reasonably price, pleasant surroundings. A cut above!!

Best curry house in Worcester by far 2 mains 2 starters rice and naan for just £16.95 amazing value and well worth a visit great cocktails great service

Went to IK to meet up with friends for a night out. The food was amazing and the staff were really attentive. The prices were extremely reasonable. We all enjoyed the meal and the drinks and ended up staying until closing instead of moving on once we finished our meal. I do have one criticism. I live in Northampton and it is a 90 minute drive each way. Please move your restaurant closer.

Went for a meal on Sunday evening. First time of trying..... Really great food and fast, friendly service! Fresh ingredients and amazing naan bread! Highly recommend.

Since opening I have had a number of deliveries from Indian Kitchen and been very impressed, it is now my ‘go to’ takeaway restaurant. Always ordered through Just Eat to get the discount. Food hot, tasty, good sized portions and good value for money. Would definitely recommend and I will be using again.
