We were served by Josh who was really good, fillet steak was cooked just how I like it.

Great for socialising I went with 30 work colleagues service was great food served at same time as pre ordered. I will return with my hubby NOT an intimate venue.! Thank you to all the staff 🙏

Good quality food. Starter sizes were a bit on the small size compared to the mains. Professional service throughout the restaurant. It was our first visit. Naomi was great at recommending items on the menu. We'll definitely visit again.

RUBBISH SHRINK WRAP encloed food vile eatery visit After cutting into the chicken re crumbs I found a piece of plastic about 1" - 25mm plus long which was trapped between the chicken and the breadcrumbs I could not eat a thing of the main after that and reported it to the waiter: Apparently chef apologised and said it does'nt happen often and sorry. 🤣🤣🤣 The waiter said that it was when chef rolled out the chcken they use plastic SHRINK WRAP and obviously the plastic got caught and left in the chicken when crumbs were topped onto the chicken and then cooked Could have been very dangerous for folk especially the elderly and young children check the food very carefully before you eat here Err Nope didn't contact me at all Didn't expect a call anyway

We are a big fan of the Ego chain and love visiting our local one here in Worcester. The service is always impeccable, and the atmosphere lovely and relaxing. The restaurant, which sits beneath the ancient beams of this very characterful former barn, is airy and spotless. The menu always has a great choice, and stands out from the norm because it has a distinct Mediterranean twist. I love the steaks here too, as they are always good quality and value. This lovely restaurant is one of our regular “go to” places. You always know what you are going to get here - good food, freshly cooked to order in the open kitchen, a great choice on the menu and with friendly service.

Food was lovely, service was amazing ! Catered to our every need. My mum is elderly and very picky… she nor any of us could fault the service! We were served by Naomi and she was excellent.. so attentive she made our experience on Boxing Day

Ego at Manor Farm has been a family favourite now for a number of years and is our go to place for any special occassion. Menu is large to cater for all tastes, but this doesn't detract from the overall quality, with the food always cooked fresh and of a consistent standard. They also tend to often do special offers mid-week where you get 2 x courses for 2 people for £30, making it a great night out and not breaking the bank. As well as the good food, we are also often greeted and looked after by Naomi, she has a chatty, warm personality, which always makes you feel welcome and makes the visit to Ego more memorable. We go quite regularly and always have a lovely time. Went today, 1st Jan and had a great experience. Our server Naiomi always professional but friendly and enjoys our banter. She is on the go, making sure everyone is happy and has what they need. She seems aware of when customers need assistance and gives great customer service. She is a great example of how to interact with customers whilst keeping her eye on the bigger picture, but not intruding on customers occasions. Thank you to all the staff we have got to know over the times we visit, Dan, Chris and Lauren they all make Ego Worcester a welcoming experience.

A nice surprise in various ways. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. The ambiance was warm. The beer cold. The food was exceptional. Can’t fault it.

Pre booked and pre ordered , still waiting for food some had a starter but when they had finished had to wait a while for plates to be collected we have a diabetic in the party and need to sort of time food, we came here last year and exactly the same and last year poor food when it came in a nutshell high prices slow service and mediocre food can't yet comment in this year's food as still waiting 1hr and 25 mins and counting

Came for a xmas meal this evening, food was amazing and lovely service from Naomi. She recommended a few items which were great, what a great asset to the company!

Had the lamb kofte wrap in the past and loved it, was looking forward to enjoying the same but was presented with a hugely spicy lamb sausage in a wrap...!!...very disappointing and so heavily spiced could not eat...shame really as it's quite a nice venue...not sure I'll be going back after that...🤔

Me and my partner had a lovely lunch here - it was our first time visiting and we were truly impressed. Our waitress Naomi was friendly and fast, recommending things and checking we were getting the best deal available to us. We really appreciated her and she is a star in and of herself! The venue is lovely and very atmospheric, and we would whole heartedly recommend a trip here!

Booked a table for 4:45 for their Dine Out Wednesdays, was seated and placed orders very promptly. Waitress was very good at dealing with an order that was very complicated due to intolerances/vegetarian. Received starters quickly but it was not until 5:40 that we received our mains which was a very long time!! However food was incredible and service was perfect excluding the long wait (There was also only 3 other tables in at the time). Very reasonably priced, will be back!

We had a family gathering and decided to book Ego. We had tried the Egos in Bromsgrove and Lichfield so pretty much knew what to expect. It was a fairly quiet Sunday evening. Firstly there was a cold draft coming from the window and it wasn’t possible to close the curtains due to Christmas decorations being in the way. The food was good , Sunday roasts including lamb and beef. Plus a chicken dish and a fish dish. However most of the food was served luke warm. The service was also just ok.

Had a super meal, spur of the moment. Was served by Naomi. She was fantastic and so welcoming. Well done!

We thoroughly enjoyed a Birthday lunch at Ego at Manor Farm today. We were looked after by Naomi, who was very friendly, attentive and just lovely. We enjoyed drinks to begin, then all three following courses were superbly presented, piping hot and absolutely delicious. Naomi even took the trouble to bag up a lamb bone for me to take home for my dog, which was so appreciated. The grand finale to our lunch was a specially prepared dessert for my friend with a happy birthday message written in raspberry jus and a small sparkler on top - perfect! We will definitely be visiting this beautiful restaurant again which is set in a renovated 400-year old former barn with exposed oak beams and fresh decor. The whole experience was absolutely 5 stars and we highly recommend a visit here. Thank you Naomi!

It’s a bit far out from the centre but was booked as it seemed to be a good place to eat. Our waitress was very pleasant and, once ordered, we didn’t have to wait long for our food. The food was ok, but not wow! At the end, our waitress happily called a taxi to take us back to our hotel. In the end it was fine but not special.

Excellent food; quick, friendly service. The surroundings are perfect for a quiet family meal. A refreshing change from the formula pub grub you’ll find elsewhere in Worcester, but it comes at a price, of course. Still worth it, and we’ll come again.

Spent the evening with my husband and parents at Ego Mediterranean in Worcester. The food was absolutely delicious but the star of the evening was our waitress Naomi. She was just wonderful. Caring, knowledgeable, professional and has an excellent sense of humour. We will be back and hopefully for a Christmas booking, but mainly because of her. Well done team Ego and well done Naomi.

Really nice food not rushed out,really nice paella

Met with family members (some North Wales, some Devon, some Gloucester) for a meal. 2 big tables were set out for us, staff were friendly and attentive. Food was delicious!

It was OK. I ordered a cappuccino and a steak sandwich, my cappuccino hadn't arrived after about 25 mins so I had to chase it. The sandwich was fine, a bit dry but OK. I wouldn't rush back but it was convenient and the atmosphere was nice

Very clean and welcoming. Staff are very friendly. Bar staff knew Hendrix Gin is a cucumber infusion, so knew not to put lemon in it ... more than most.

Your food prices was over the top for things that should have gone with the meal because paying for pepper corn sauce should have gone with the meal we would have not had it. If I want to were my daughter works would have payed less and got more

Very nice place .. food wise I ordered the (hanging) chicken , chorizo and side of fries and my partner ordered the lamb rump steak .. both were very nice I. Taste. . but we both left feeling hungry.. for the price they charge it's a rip off

Lovely main courses, and great price with an offer, desserts not great, just a bit uninspiring. Wouldn't order either puddings again, but on the whole a nice experience.

Overall a good meal, we had an issue with one of our prawn cocktail starters but the other two were perfect. Main meals were really good, two steak dishes cooked within the choice of rare and medium rare. The trio of pork was lacking a little with the meat, however after a starter it was ok portion size. Overall a good meal and would come again. 3 people, two course + soft drinks over £100

We met family here and the service was very slow, all kids and nobody seemed to be in charge……however the food was shocking! My steak with a £6 supplement i wouldnt have fed to my dog it was so grissly, the fish gougons on the kids menu were like cement and the linguine was so oily it was awful. We will never go back!

Always warm ,spacious and great for get togethers

Unfortunately on our last visit the food was terrible, think they might have been having some issues in the kitchen. Overcooked, undercooked and took some of the meals 2 hours to be served. Sorry Ego, but this wasn't your finest evening.

Tuesday evening. 5.30 so hardly a busy time. Food service was appalling, Food average. Had to wait over an hour for our food. Really simple dishes. Not impressed…….

Last minute meal decision, sat in the lovely area by the olive tree, a fab 2 course meal each for £30, steaks cooked to perfection, service by Adam was great, he was friendly, helpful & took the time to check all was ok throughout our meal. Loved it so much we've booked our Xmas meal there too. Keep up the great service & food 😃

Sunday lunch was good and beef was tender and cooked just right, only small detail was, I ordered an espresso, which I could not drink, and although I left it , I was still charged for it. Spoilt an otherwise good lunch ...

Lovely meal and environment but the service was really poor; took a long time to have orders taken, receive drinks and there was just generally a lack of care or interest.

Arrived at the time booked, lovely staff helped to table took order etc all wonderful. In fact, food was good, great even. Service staff to use were wonderful. Speed at which food came to the table, awful. 1 hour in and we had only had our starter and the 1st round of drinks. That is the only reason I have listed the service as 3, not the waitress staff by any means who were lovely. But only having 3 chunks of camembert or whatever the cheese was, not even a mini one, after 1 hour was not good. Also, as a side note, did not see any GF gluten free options. We live local and have been a few times, and would likely go more, if it were quicker.

We had a very enjoyable rump steak on Friday evening, there was also a guy singing, which was an added bonus! Ego staff were all very pleasant and made us feel welcome ( Lauren especially). Cheers!

Lovely food, all dishes were delicious.

Pre-booked as we were staying at a nearby glamping site. Food was first class my duo of pork and Eton mess was delicious. Service great throughout and we visited on Monday and had two course special which was very reasonable. Good food, good service and good price equals a very enjoyable dining experience.

Had a fabulous meal here on Monday evening whilst staying in Worcester for a few days. It was the nicest meal we have had in a while. Food and service was excellent. Very clean restaurant area and toilets. Wish we lived nearer as would definitely visit again. Highly recommended.

Overpriced, slow service, food not great. We have given this place a few chances now - but we won’t be going back. We were disappointed with the roast we had a while ago - roast potatoes were like rubber and not fresh. Our recent meal there was below average. Soggy onion rings and burnt steak, dry chicken. Unfortunately not worth the money in my opinion.

Ego is our “go to” restaurant. The food is excellent - lunch, afternoon tea, dinner - and the staff are all so helpful and so pleasant. I am just waiting for the Christmas menus online, so we can book our party there. If you haven’t tried it, please do, and if you have I’m sure you enjoyed it.

Excellent service Busy but staff attentive

We are quite local and visit a lot..lunches, evenings, and drinks in between. Most recently we went for dinner with friends and our puppy. Everything was super, as usual, great food, attentive service, fair pricing, nice wine…everything good! We love the Lemon Chicken Milanese, and the Carbonara, particularly, but we have tried a number of different things. We heartily recommend!

One of my wife and I'd favourite restaurants, and certainly our favourite in the area. Amazing vegan selection, and lots of wonderful choices on the regular menu. Beautiful ambience, friendly staff, one of the best places to dine in Worcestershire.

Well we visited Ego Worcester on Wednesday 4th September 2024 for a meal for 2 people consisting of a starter and Main meal we both chose Garlic mushrooms for our starters but were very dissapointed with the quality the mushrooms were really stringy and floated in a sauce not nice at all , my wifes main meal was Sea Bass which found to be very oily with hard vegetables , my own choice of mains was Paella which I found to be very mushy and greasy not very appetising at all !! Really not very good at all . We hastily paid the bill and left the premises feeling really disappointed 👎👎👎

Decided to book for our anniversary and went on a Tuesday which is ‘Steak night’ prices were fairly high but we hadn’t been before so didn’t know what to expect in terms of portion and quality. We both had lovely starters and both had the 227g Sirloin (8oz) which comes with skin on fries, grilled mushroom, confit tomato and ‘dressed’ rocket. My wife doesn’t like mushrooms or Rocket so asked if there was a possibility of exchanging these for a small side salad, the answer was no, we don’t do that but I can see if we can do some cherry tomatoes. The meals arrived, both had very nice steaks and the fries, mine had a small pile of naked Rocket, one small flat mushroom and half a warmed mostly raw tomato. The other plate had one tomato (two halves) again slightly cooked and were positioned in Way most phallic which I’m certain was deliberate. As I say, the Steaks were very nice but I expected better.

Such a shame that our recent visit was not a total success. As usual service was slow but we were expecting some really nice food and it was a disappointment. Two of my party ordered Moroccan lamb which was cold when it arrived at the table, the lamb was reheated but was still only lukewarm and there was very little lamb in the dish - not good for the price BUT our server was brilliant and understood our distress so took the cost of these off the bill. Love the atmosphere at Ego so it was a real shame. The rest of my party enjoyed our food and everyone had delicious desserts. I will no doubt make another visit to Ego and see if I have a better experience.

This place is no longer an Ego Restaurant. I went about a year ago when it was still an Ego Restaurant and after they had stopped serving Mediterranean Steak - which I enjoyed 4 years ago. 1 year ago, though, the steak they did serve was thicker and tougher and I hated it. I nearly died from a piece that would not go past my windpipe. Fortunately I was able to eject it out of my throat with the air left in my lungs. How do I find out if things have changed here without risking my life? How would you?

40 minute wait between starter being finished and main coming out, then as the main was coming out they told us they were out of a certain side dish. Starters were nice, Sunday roast was not so good, potatoes rock hard , cauliflower cheese was lumps of cauliflower sat in a dish with a tiny bit of cheese sauce in the bottom, and not seasoned. Meat was bland.

We arrived at 1.00 pm and it was very quiet. The meals were excellent.

Just likely relaxed dining with great service and delicious food. The offer was also very good value for money.

Drinks order taken promptly however food order waited sometime before calling over to the waiting staff who thought food order had been taken very apologetic Starters prompt (prawn cocktails) and very good it then took over 40mins for main course to arrive ( steak and chicken dish) which was dried up and over cooked. Both meals replaced another 15mins and not very much better.

Service was very slow had to ask to have table cleared. Couldn't get attention for drinks and went to bar to ask .quality of afternoon tea was very poor

Menu change includes overpriced smaller meals with less choices. Have been coming here for years always a go to place but will have second thoughts about returning any time soon
