Roots at Rushwick in Worcester

Walked out of this place as no social distancing, no perspex screens, staff unmasked and leaning forward to within 1m of customers. All of the customers complying with mask rules; why can't the staff reciprocate with mutual respect?

As a well looked after husband of many years a wife unwell is not good news. However,if you live within easy reach of Roots near Worcester your problems are solved. Ready meals for one to four people are available. Lots of choice...go for the fish pie.

Visited last night on recommendation. Greated nicely and asked where we wanted to sit. Conservatory was rather noisy with small children playing so we opted for the bus top deck. Ordered our drinks then pizza however then we were forgotten! After almost an hour my asked about our meal and eventually that we had been forgotten!! Very soon got our order that was great, really tasty obviously fresh ingredients. For our sweet we had to find a waitress as nobody had come anywhere near the bus. May I suggest that as there were 9 waitresses hanging around the oven when we paid that maybe one should be assigned the top deck, one the bottom deck and the rest the conservatory. We did gave the price of one pizza taken off for the inconvenience, thankyou.

Lovely place. Fantastic pizza. Was really nice place to go to. Staff lovely and helpful. I shall return when next in the area.

If you like authentic Italian pizza, beautiful flowers, homemade ice-cream, double decker buses, friendly service, great value beer and wine, no need to go anywhere else. Great family run business, only open a few nights a week, so booking is essential. P.S. You can do some shopping on the way out!

Lovely venue for pizzas, food, wine and beer, situated close to Malvern and Worcester. Roots has a farm shop and plenty of space to sit outside or inside a double decker bus. The toilets need some attention, tiling and some TLC would go a long way. Overall it’s s great place to share a pizza or try one of their specials with friends or family.

Decent choice but really expensive compared to the other farm shops in the area. Tiny loaves, weeny bacon rashers and crazily priced ready meals. Gwillams is better value.

Came upon this shop when visiting NT The Firs - Elgar's Birthplace. Good selection of fresh fruit and veg together with the usual prepacked meats, chutneys, pickles etc and a huge selection of frozen foods. BUT - the pricing is verging on the extortionate. Our local farm shop sells Spanish Onions @ 95p. our local market @ 75p but here it is priced on weight - 1 onion came in at a hefty £1.52. Tiny sausage rolls were £3.50 EACH - you would need 3 to make a full size one. There are far better value farm shops than this.

Brilliant farm shop , lovely fresh veg , great choice of meat . The sliced ham is lovely and tasty . A good array of jams , pickles and chutney Fresh bread and cakes . Also a good freezer selection. Well worth a visit

Service abysmally slow, garlic bread base would serve as body armour, bus accomodation cramped with noisy air conditioning, meagre pizza topping. Good venue for the chattering classes.

a farm shop with a pizza oven in use on a Friday night. Seating is in a double decker bus. Wonderful garlic bread and salad for starters - don't be greedy as these are healthy portions. Bit of a wait for the main course but it was exceptionally busy and with such a friendly atmosphere and great food, who cares? Drinks come out of the shop fridges so a massive range of local beer and cider. Pizzas are authentic and completely different to chain restaurants or takeaways. Elbow room is tight, head room is limited and everyone's conversation is audible - none of these would put me off going again. Quite the opposite

We had a fantastic experience eating pizza on the double decker bus at Roots Family farmshop. We choose 2 speciality grande pizzas and 1 regular pizza for our 19 month old son, who loved seeing the pigs and chickens whilst waiting for our food. The pizzas were delicious - we'll definitely be returning!

Great selection of meat, vegetables and dairy products as well as ;lots of other treats. Not cheap but great quality and flavours.

Love it here! We meet up with friends either girls outings or families. The kids play on or off the bus we enjoy wine ordered from the farm shop fridge and the pizza is excellent! Looking forward to coming back

He estado mirando en un anuncio en mi cocina los empleadores durante más de un año, la pizza en raíces Flyer promocional parecía increíble ya que oscuro deprimente calentado mi sopa. Después de 1 año finalmente ir! Cómo me hubiera gustado haber ido antes, pizza increíble con apetitosos pan de ajo ... todo se sirve en un autobús de dos pisos. Funky o qué! El personal que sirve son jóvenes pero así madura y encantador! Gran crédito a la generación más joven. No podemos esperar a volver ... traiga en Semana Santa cuando se re abre

Es muy agradable ver gente diversificar y esta pequeña granja orgánica ha hecho algo tan sencillo pero muy diferente.

Tried to find this place using sat nav but had ask locals in the end. It was not what we expected although their range of specialist foods was quite interesting. It is a shop not a restaurant!!

We love the pizza here. Recently got back from Tuscany and we hadn't eaten one as good. Nothing better than sitting on the bus, watching the Malvern hills and eating locally sourced yummy pizza.

We have been eating pizza and doing the Friday night grocery shopping here for over a year. In that time Meg has mastered the art of making the perfect stone baked pizza base. She is always experimenting with new topping combinations using roots own orgAnic meat and veg. It is magical to watch the sun set whilst eating probably the best pizza in Worcester, looking out of the fields with chickens mooching about and the odd honk from the latest batch of piggies. Many people buy to take home, we always risk the sun, cold, wind and rain just for the sheer fun,I highly recommend !!!!Eva, Kevin and Poppy

Ordered and then collected this as a Good Friday treat.Pizza smelt amazing and looked great tooTasted great too, ham, artichokes olives and more, all locally sourced I believe.definitely worth doing
