Lovely building and nice carrot cake! Horrible horrible coffee, one of the worst i have ever had in my life, asked for a latte the drink was super hot way more than 70°c it burnt my lips, The coffee was so so bitter and acidic, it left a horrible taste. A bit overpriced for a local cafe. I would go there but have a tea instead :)

There aren’t enough words to say how perfect our wedding day was here back in September. Charlotte was there every step of the way and we couldn’t have done it without her and the rest of the team. Everyone we speak to say says how amazing this hidden gem of a venue was and how it was such a happy day. I wish we could do it all over again.

Great experience at this cafe who stay open desire the flooding as the cafe is on stilts and your can use the nursery when the normal cat park is flooded, food was great and service was quick, it can be pricey though.

Brought my partner here for the first time after raving how lovely it was the time I went before with my friend. We ordered 2 scrambled egg on toast...one with sourdough and one granary, one hot chocolate and 1 pot of tea. We were directed upstairs as downstairs was full and to be honest it was not welcoming or clean and tidy or near the standard of the cafe downstairs...felt like a forgotten space .... We sat at a huge empty table which was dirty so decided to move when a couple moved to their table. We waited half hr before I went to ask where the scrambled egg was as still hadn't even had our drinks..I was told a large table had just ordered and that's why it was late ...I asked for the table to be cleaned and she said she was coming to clean it but wr had moved. This is not so as she cannot see us from downstairs and she didn't know about the table being dirty too...which she didn't clean knowing we had left it. We then got the food and no drinks. The sourdough was not sourdough it was toasted white bread. We said the drinks hadn't arrived so she went again to collect them and delivered hot chocolate and cappuccino...I explained I had ordered a pot of tea . She said she looked at the wrong ticket. It seemed as though our entire order had been misplaced and we were forgotten. I was so disappointed and upset as its not a cheap place to go and I have no issue paying when the food and service and environment is up to the asking price but even the hot chocolate was not pleasant. Sad to say I won't recommend and I won't return ...

Stopped off for a spot of pumpkin picking in Bennett’s brand new pumpkin patch. It was a brilliant, well organised event. Our little girl loved choosing a pumpkin and meeting some adorable calves. We had a delicious coffee in the café, which was super clean and decorated in a gorgeous rustic style. We just love it here. Plus, the ice cream is the best in the country in our opinion!

I went with my 5 year old son to the mini farmer calf experience at the end of July and was blown away. Couldn't recommend enough. It was so well balanced with it being both super informative as well as being hands on which meant my son was engaged the whole time. A really good insight into dairy farming (for adults as well as children) and ace to be able to meet the cows which included feeding and cuddling the calf's. My son is still buzzing about it. Looking forward to when my daughter's a bit older to bring her. 10/10 recommend.

I photographed a wedding here in May 2024, and I've never felt so well looked after by a wedding team at a venue. Honestly, you were all SO lovely and understood our (suppliers) needs as well to ensure we were on form for what's usually a 10-12 hour day for us, not including the hour and a half travelling either side of the wedding 😴 Making sure we had a drink and catered for us as well. I hope one day someone will book me for your venue again xx Thank you and well done for having such a positive team! X

Lovely location, really thoughtfully put together. They have improved some of the car park but otherwise it’s really bumpy with many pot holes. The good is fine, the ploughman’s platter used to be full and great value at £9.99 but now it’s £13 and hardly anything on it. Nice area for kids with animals and a play area (main reason to visit) but they seem annoyed to take your food down there as if it’s too far for them and I also don’t like that they ask for a tip when you order. The food is pricey enough and it doesn’t feel justified. Shame, this place used to be so much better. I still go because the outside section is very nice but with a grumble.

We recently got married here, they aren’t enough adjectives to describe what a wonderful experience it was. Charlotte and her team were absolutely incredible, nothing was too much trouble and she is so calm it kept everything relaxed and easy. Fantastic food (than you Steph for the brilliant pizzas) and the venue and atmosphere was just perfect. I cannot recommend this place enough as a wedding venue. If you are thinking about it book now before it’s too late you won’t regret it. There is something very special about it, maybe because it was built for love in the first place you can feel it. It will definitely always have a special place in our hearts. I’m already thinking about booking our 10th wedding anniversary there just so we can do it again!

Absolutely wonderful place to pop in for a lunchtime visit. Lovely coffee and has several tea options. When we arrived, although the indoor seating was busy, we still were able to find a table; they also have extra indoor seating upstairs. There's a lovely selection of food on the menu, including: all day breakfasts (until 2:30pm); sandwiches; paninis; baps; jacket potatoes; milkshakes; and so much more. Lovely atmosphere with a rustic feel, alongside the radio playing softly in the background. The staff were very friendly and have an excellent sense of food hygiene and cleanliness. It's lovely to see a farm diversifying, using their own milk and beef; as well as using eggs and pork products from neighbouring farms. It's a good feeling to support not only one farm, but three! They sell their own milk and ice cream, so be sure to stock up! You'd be a fool not to pop in!

We visited Bennetts Willow Barn for the Santa meet and greet with our 2 year old and had a lovely time. We parked up easily enough, although we didn’t spot the signs for the barn straight away to begin with and nearly ended up in the restaurant! Given that our son is so young, this short and affordable meet and greet was perfect, especially whilst conversation with him is very one sided. We were greeted by a very happy elf, who confirmed our booking, then we spent a few minutes with Santa. We had photos taken by a local photographer, who was also very affordable, and a welcome surprise on the day (I’m very much looking forward to the photos!) After the meet and greet, we had a quick look round the Xmas market then made our way outside to the play area. Whilst part of it was flooded from the recent bad weather, our little one was still keen to say high to the chickens and goats, and have a go on the play equipment. Had this been the middle of summer, it would have been great. All in all though, a lovely and friendly visit!

Bennetts Willow Farm was an amazing venue for our wedding day. Lucy and Laura were amazing and could not have been more helpful. Laura helped answer all our questions and very much supported us with our suppliers. Lucy was beyond amazing in the day, she helped myself (groom) and all my groomsmen set up for the big day. We have no eye for decorating and relied heavily on her artists eye to make the venue look amazing. The venue was everything we wanted- relaxed, fun and quirky. We could also have our dog with us for our special day. Bennetts Willow Farm will have a special place in our hearts.

Tasty bacon and sausage sarnies. It's reliable good food from a local place - I'd reccomend stopping in for breakfast or lunch but a booking is a sensible choice on weekends. My only complaint about the food is mostly for the coffee - it was fine but they used milk that was fresh, or maybe frozen or something as it seperate in my coffee - which caused a slightly odd taste - maybe stick to juice if you particularly mind that!

Willow Barn is a beautiful looking structure over a pond that could do with a clean. The coffee and the ice cream are good. Reports of the Oreo Chocolate Cake were not so good - a wee bit stale, apparently. I had an iced ring donut that turned out to have jam in it. Now, this may sound delicious to you, in which case I urge you to visit Willow Barn and order one. But if I want a filling in my donut I will order a round one. Ring donuts are for those of us who want to enjoy more donut, less sauce. So I was not impressed and shall be asking lots of donut related questions next time I visit. There were also cows and goats nearby, and a sandpit for the kids.

Very unpleasant experience indeed, when i go for a coffee at almost £4 of my money / i do hope to relax / enjoy / unwind/ /this proved impossible to do with a very insensitive male member staff shoiting out orders to other staff at the top of his voice, while he then continued to dust pan an brush under everyones tables while we are meant to RELAX?? AWFUL EXPERIENCE WHAT IS THERE TO ENJOY??? V DISAPOINTED AN UPSET INDEED NOT ON WOULD SAY COMPANY CAFE NERO NEEDS TO TRAIN THERE STAFF BEFORE THEY LET THEM LOOSE REALLY SO OUT OF ORDER.. WILL NOT BE WASTING MY MONEY HERE AGAIN THERES SO MUCH BETTER VARIOUS OTHER PLACES AROUND TOWN LITTLE INDEPENDENT S ETC GOOD BYE CAFE NERO
