Estábamos buscando un lugar para comer antes de ir al teatro - y este restaurante fue recomendado por un par de lugareños, que iban allí también! A pesar de que era un lunes frío por la noche, tenía un número razonable de clientes, lo que siempre es un buen augurio. Nos sirvieron rápida y eficientemente y nuestros dos platos de pasta estaban deliciosos. Nos gustaría comer allí de nuevo si en la zona - y lo recomendaría a otros!

Llegamos antes de que el restaurante estuviera abierto y a las 5 pm un hombre muy agradable nos invitó a entrar. A pesar de reservar pprox hace 2 semanas había un montón de mesas para 4 ya puestos, pero nos llevaron a una mesa en el medio del restaurante que no estaba puesto, así que puso las servilletas y tenedores en la mesa. La mujer (presumiblemente camarera, aunque podría haber sido propietaria) fue muy abrupta cuando mi hermana dijo "¿Disculpe?"... ella solo quería pedir el menú sin gluten y la camarera fue abrupta y recortada en su manera diciendo algo como "¡solo espera un momento!", pero no de una manera amable. Ignoramos esto ya que parecía ocupada. No tenía sonrisa, ni naturaleza acogedora en absoluto. Tenía filete de carne con jengibre y cebolla. No había cebolla de primavera ni un toque de jengibre, la carne estaba tierna pero insípida y era como si se hubiera añadido un poco de agua y bisto para la salsa. De mal gusto. Mi hermana comió lo mismo pero con pollo. Esto era mejor en sabor. No comí mucho. Luego, hacia el final de la comida, otra camarera se acercó y tomó el paño de arriba, mientras que nuestros vasos que no estaban vacíos estaban dispuestos a la mesa, así que los recogimos, lo que en retrospectiva no deberíamos haber hecho. La conclusión es que era insípido, el ambiente era tan soso como la comida y el servicio era despreciable. Sugiero que antes del teatro la gente vaya a cenar al Sunbeam sobre la carretera. Mucho mejor ambiente y sin duda mejor personal y decoración. Cenamos con regularidad tanto en encantadores pubs y restaurantes locales y también restaurantes de primera clase en Birmingham y Londres, incluidos restaurantes con estrellas Michelin. Conocemos la calidad, ya sea pastel y puré o buena comida. Esto no fue así. A veces puedo disculpar la calidad de la comida, pero no hay excusa en absoluto para el servicio grosero, no importa lo que está pasando en su trabajo o vida personal - no hay excusa! We had a late lunch on Friday at Cafe Maxsim. It was our first visit and we didn't know what to expect. As it was a pleasant afternoon we chose to sit "outside" and were delighted to be shown to a private patio area at the back of the cafe. This was a delightful place to enjoy some good Tapas and delicious homemade desserts. If you like Tiramasu - then their homemade is a must. There was a great selection of Teas and Coffees including Yerba Mate - served in a gourd container with special drinking straws. This cafe offers a very eclectic mix of Spanish, South American, Greek and Asian plates. The staff/owners were lovely. Very friendly and helpful. It was a perfect spot for a lunch. Will be back again for an evening meal and to experience the lights at night in the 'secret garden'.

Being phoning Jivans for several months now and not getting a pick up, does anyone know if they're still in business or what's happening?

I have been visiting this restaurant for 30 years and Joseph and his team have always been brilliant. I always had “balti chicken tikka rognee saucy” which isn’t on the menu. Always perfect. Sadly Joseph has retired and sold up so I won’t be able to go back to my fave restaurant. It’s now closed. I want to wish Joe and his team all the best. Martin F

Reckless and dangerous driving by this Rio Piri Piri delivery driver—registration PJ08 PGK. The driver was speeding and abruptly cut in front of me, nearly causing an accident. If not for my quick reaction, it could have resulted in a serious collision. This kind of irresponsible driving puts everyone at risk, including pedestrians and other road users. Companies should ensure their drivers adhere to road safety rules and drive responsibly. Extremely disappointed with this experience and hope action is taken to prevent such incidents in the future.

Went here with my girlfriend and we decided to have some Indian street food and bubble tea after a University open day Fantastic service, a lovely young woman served us and the food was served in 20 mins. We had Keema Chicken wrap, a Saag Paneer pitta and masala fries. Very nice taste, spiced greatly and the bubble tea was very nice. Authentically made! Wish they had a bathroom though. Will be returning very soon! Thanks guys :)))

Visité aquí en un almuerzo entre semana, solo había otra persona allí, el personal era atento y me ayudó con el menú, ya que no estaba seguro de qué comer. Hermoso café en el corazón de Wolverhampton. Cálido y amable con una gran opción de buena comida. Y fácilmente la mejor taza de té que he comprado en cualquier lugar!

Popped in as it had been refurbished. Place looks great now. The garden has also been done and is spacious-there is a pergola at the 1 end with long benches and screening to protect from the wind. Hanging baskets finish off the look. Well worth a visit.
