The best restaurants in Castle Tamworth West Midlands

Nipped in for lunch and a quick drink. We ordered prawn salads that tasted fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful as we went in when they were preparing a new menu. I would definitely recommend this place!

Wanted to try this place for ages and we weren't dissapointed. Went on a Saturday night, it was busy, barman told us where there was space to sit. Love dark real ales and tried a porter which was fantastic. Staff are friendly and helpful, venue is comfortable and relaxed, everyone seemed chilled and happy. Can't wait to go again

Lovely little micropub. Great beers and made to feel very welcome by the owner and locals. Highly recommend. Will be coming back when next in Tamworth.

Just a quick drink before football. It was quiet, only 6 in the bar and 8 in the back room. It was quiet, peaceful, and very enjoyable. The lady serving was lovely and there was plenty of drinks to choose from. There was also seating outside.

I booked for Valentine’s evening after seeing the impressive menu advertised on Facebook as there was a lot of choice for each course, plus extra courses in between. It sounded delightful! We were very impressed on the night, the food was excellent and absolutely did not disappoint. With the welcoming bar, front of house, and waitressing staff, we had a perfect night. Well done team Christopher’s!

We went on Saturday. The children loved it. They had a Lychee bubble tea which was massive and delicious, an ice cream and a cookie dough. All was lovely. Plenty of seating and friendly staff. Will be returning soon

As you enter, you are greeted with a warm welcome. No rushing you and you can take your time on choosing the right dish for you. The food is fresh and portion sizes are great. The atmosphere in the restaurant is perfect for a lovely evening with your family and friends. You will not be disappointed, I have been in Tamworth 10 years now and I have finally found my go to curry house. Five stars all the way!

Lovely valentine's meal with my Fiancée, food and service were excellent. Only improvements could be environment, dimmer lighting with large candle and a real fire in the fireplace instead of decor would make it perfect! Thanks all! 👍🏻
