Came with a group if people for something to eat, everybody’s food was amazing. Love the homemade naan wraps and masala chips. Would definitely recommend. Service was very fast and efficient, Emma was lovely and made sure we had everything we required Lovely pub and attentive staff

Ate here tonight for the first time wow … lovely staff from girls at bar to our servers Bella Emma and. Amelia all the staff were fantastic the food was so good far too much had to take a doggie bag home … for a nice change the wine from the bar was not a cheap brand and it was really nice pinot.. had a great experience can’t wait to come back

We've been here for food a few times and always had a good visit, but today's visit was by far the best. I had a curry, with all the extras and fries and my partner had a curry too. Absolutely delicious, I'm going to go as far as saying it's better than the Indian restaurants further up the road! Our server, Evie was brilliant, always polite. The staff are friendly and the premises clean. Well worth a visit.

Amazing location and a place to be a visited

The pub needs to be updated and very old and the food is average

First time in for lunch . Like the idea of West and East but sorry food would not have me rushing back.

We (two adults, two toddlers) popped by on a Saturday evening while we were in the area searching for food options nearby, and this was top rated - I can see why! We hadn’t booked but luckily a table was leaving when we arrived so we were able to grab their table. Menu had a good mix of food, there was a good mix of curry options and Western foods too. The other adult with me said the dirty burger was one of the best he’s ever had - won’t stop going on about it! The kids menu had a lot of basic favourites, but I do think that at £6 each for some nuggets and chips was a bit on the pricey side for what was served. It’s order at the bar service. A decent selection of lagers. Wi-Fi wasn’t working when we were there. A large TV in the cute back room showing BBC 1 was a hit for my toddlers who were happy to be able to watch Gladiators!

Not a bad pub. A real ale would have been nice. An unusual spicey vegan burger. It was very tasty, but a bit dry. Some chilli sauce on the side would have been perfect.

Visited here on Saturday 1/03/2025 Had booked a table for two, was able to park right outside, was seated straight to a table. Ordered food and the wasn't any long wait. The food was absolutely delicious and we'll definitely be visiting again.

Visited as group of 4 this weekend. Shame I couldn’t split the rating between the food and drinks teams. Food was delicious and deserves 5* but the bar staff are not friendly, not very efficient and really let the team down! Will get a takeaway next time as food was top notch.

Stayed over for two nights while on a business trip locally and couldn't have asked for more! Setting was great and a really tasteful and modern gastro pub welcomes you as you go through the door. Ate here both nights and couldn't fault it. Rooms were also great, classy feel to them and obviously recently refurbished. Secure car park too is a bonus. Harvey, Evie, Ben and Aphra were sublime hosts, very welcoming.

Had dinner here with friends and it was fantastic. Delicious food, friendly staff and cozy. Definitely worth repeating!!

Great place if you want east or west food, you have the choice between a good curry or fish and chips would definitely recommend it.

We visited the Tamworth Arms based on a friend's recommendation and were generally pleased with our experience. The Tamworth Arms special grill was a generous portion, including Sheesh Kebab, 3 Lamb Chops, and a variety of chicken dishes. While the meat was well-cooked, we found it difficult to distinguish between the different chicken varieties. The Fish Pakora was delicious, but the prawns were not presented as pakora. While the generous portions were appreciated, we missed the inclusion of a side dish like a salad or onion to balance the richness of the meat. Overall, the Tamworth Arms Grill offers a satisfying meal. With a few tweaks to the menu and the addition of side dishes, it could elevate its dining experience to the next level. We look forward to returning to explore more of their menu.

DID absolutely love the Punjab authentic cuisine coming from this place. However has gone downhill quite rapidly! Continuous inconsistency in the Curry's they all taste completely different to each time you have one! Naans not good, condiments terrible with no plates, always having to ask for cutlery rather than being given it! £1.50 per poppadom (all broken). The actual pub itself now looks scruffy needs a new paint job especially where the food is being prepped!!! Really did like this place! Shame that it's just completely different every time you go! I'm really not joking, some of the Gastro curry range at Aldi are far better than this (my father is Indian and agrees). Sorry, but is this my honest review. Will never be returning!

First visit here, very friendly staff, very good service and we enjoyed the food.

Not impressed with the food nor the service more like a café hthan a restaurant

Stayed here for a night and was pleasantly surprised. The bar area was well appointed with modern and clean decor, along with various screens showing sports. There was little in the way of beer, but the guiness was well kept. We ate here (the Indian menu was varied) and were impressed with the chicken Madras, Prawn Saag, and Keema nan. The hotel room was certainly on the small side and lacked space to properly hang clothes, but it was very modern, extremely clean, and had a well proportioned shower room. The breakfast in the morning was exceptional given that it was gratis with the room. Free parking was also a bonus. It's definitely a place to stay if visiting Tamworth.

Indian Grill n Pub , it's an ideal combination of the Indian cuisine and British beers. We always order their special grill which is more than enough for 2 adults and sensibly priced Great service, there is additional car parking at rear , good interior decor, sports TV All together and an ideal local pub for the residents. We have been visiting many times and our friends from Lichfield also travel here and found it a great pub . They have plenty of seating capacity and enough staff to provide service. Very friendly and lovely staff serving food and drinks at the bar. Such pubs and restaurants are an asset to the local community and deserve the support t

The owner from the Tudor Cafe suggested coming here, 'busy with locals', she said. Well she was right. Trying the Madras. Yes, not had one in a while. Atmosphere, full of everyone you could think of. Loads of young staff. Quick while I am still sat here, that was and is a great meal. Reminds me of a place in Cov from the 80s. My tip I have learnt about curry and natural ingredients is that when cooked well it doesn"t bloat you. It's all the tinned stuff and oil, so my look back hours later is that it was all good.

We walked in to have lunch. Bought a half pint. Waited at counter for service and were completely ignored despite numerous people in kitchen and barmaid observing us. Not another soul in pub. Finished beer and left

It's a great restaurant in a great location. Can't fault the service the staff are team. I have viewed the rooms on a tour around the hotel. It is very up to date and clean all rooms have been given a make over that suits the hotel

came here for the amazing mixed grills! forgot to use parking registration machine upon arrival and now am being threatened a charge of £100 despite the fact i have sent proof that i am paying customer.

Went to the Tamworth Arms for an evening meal, the pub is lovely. Nice décor and atmosphere. Good beer options and overall nice environment. I went for the Indian options and I was disappointed in terms of the food quality. The Mixed Grill - Lamb chops and Fish were good but the rest was dry. The chicken and kebabs were not cooked in the Tandoori oven, looked grilled and was definitely overdone. The curries are below average, the lamb bhuna had loads of tomato gravy, not sure if the chef understands how this dish should be served. Chicken curry, Chennai and Dhaal were all edible and ok. Overall, the curries need some work. Sorry that I didn't take any pictures.

Extremely slow service. Staff are unable to pour more than one drink at a time. Expect a wait.

Place is great and cosy but chef doesn't seem to care about coeliac disease or gluten allergy. We called ahead of time to check GF options. My wife ordered at bar letting them know she is both a coeliac and has an allergy to gluten. Bar staff did everything right but chef served us a gluten naan, we then checked twice and chef told bar staff it was GF. Only when my wife went to the kitchen window herself did he admit it was gluten. Absolutely aweful. This guy needs firing. The team and manager did all they could after but honestly there is nothing that can be done after that. Ruined our family reunion. Also misleading as only serves the lunch menu.

This place is amazing! The Midlands lacks good food unless you go into the big city, but you don't need to with this place on your doorstep. Combing a pub and a curry is such a great idea too. And it's fantastic to actually have PROPER Indian food showcased on a menu. Never let the chef go!

Don’t book with a third party whatever you do, the hotel is not responsible for their own bookings and third party companies will hold the money until you check out. My family and I came last year for a wedding in May. Booked in January. Apparently only had it half paid despite OVO sending you confirmation email saying it’s fully paid. The manager hasn’t a clue why and can’t help you. He was disrespectful about it too. Forced us to pay twice basically or else we weren’t getting a room.

Eclectic mix of British and Indian food. East meets West. I recommend the fish methi and the garlic naan. There's tv screens all around the pub for watching sports. Tip: book before you go on a Saturday evening.

Went for a family meal to celebrate my sisters birthday. Ordered our food at the same time but one couple got their food after 20 minutes whilst everyone else had to wait nearly an hour and a half for there's. We spoke to staff to ask where the food was and they just said it's because everyone else Ordered twenty minutes after the first couple when in fact they'd ordered before. Once the food finally arrived, most of it was delicious but my mom's and sisters was slimy and poorly made. We tried to Let the staff know but instead of helping, she just walked off as we had already paid so at that point, she didn't care. No professionalism at all. Its a massive shame as I've been a few times and really enjoyed the food and bar.

Meal with 5 friends the other evening we all have different food some chose English dishes and some Indian dishes, however everyone was delighted with their food. Fresh hot and extremely tasty. Service was excellent and accommodating. We will be back again!

Ordered food all at the same time. One couples food came within 20 minutes but the other six peoples food didn't come till over an hour later. 2 people had awful fish and chips but as you pay first they didn't care and just walked off without any valid response

We stayed two nights while in Tamworth, and we had at least 5 meals here. The food was great every time. Well prepared, wonderful taste and the service was never short of excellent. Always friendly, always quick, and always kind.

Only met family here for a meal so can't comment on accommodation. Service was poor, but they were very busy at the time we were there. They didn't offer table service even for a group of 5, which made service all the more poor due to uncontrolled que at bar. Plus, the bar staff totalled up our order before we had finished ordering, so we had to pay for a few items separately, annoying. The food was decent (good variety of indian and english dishes) and came altogether. Even the starters came with main meals just as we asked. Parking is a nightmare, unfortunately.

We only used the restaurant so can’t come t in rooms really! The food was ok, very spicy!!! Tikka masala was extremely hot!!!

I received the best service from Libby and Ben - helped me out massively. The food was 10/10 and they put the man united game on ;) I would 100% recommend this place!

Had a mixed grill and methi curry for lunch with my lad just to try it. Very tasty curry and lovely mixed grill. Nan bread chips and rice all to our liking. We will be returning. Very pleasant staff and nice decor. Highly recommended 👌 👍

Pub was busy, I went to toilet came back, my drink was taken then booted off my table as I was watching sports on TV, I said I was sitting there, Lady staff member a supervisor said drinks were empty, this was 2 separate tables of 2. My drink was on separate table, These tables are reserved (wasn't reserved when I was sat there before going toilet)as they make a 4 and it's just you. Say what I thought. Terrible service. And my drink I'll get you your drink she said. You can sit over there table of there in corner couldn't even see TV. I was going to order the £25plater as looked good, But after this experience no way. No matter how good food could be Terrible service is even worse. If you don't care how you are spoken to come here if not stay away. Such a pity this lady had no customer care or service. I left soon as I finished my drink. I will not return. Further to this. If this is a reply from the business owner to go on the attack to say I was rude. To which I wasn't. Then no wonder your staff speak to guests the way they do. You obviously need a lesson in guest relations too.

Great beer, two good, but different real ales. Food not bad, enjoyed the Indian style food, Fairly authentic. Would not hesitate to recommend or go again.
