We’ve had yet another absolutely amazing meal at Omar’s Table, this time for my sister in law’s birthday meal. The service was fantastic, the starters came out really quick! Even though I forgot to take a picture before me and my husband dug into our starters (Chicken Kofta and Egyptian Falafel) they were incredible, my husband said best falafel he’s ever had! 😍😍 My husband had the lamb and I had the beef they were both beautifully cooked! The veggies were incredible and the cauliflower cheese was amazing! 🤩 The deserts were delicious although we ended up taking them home as we were too full to finish them 🤣 Once again well done to the whole team at Omar’s Table! 🩷

have seen all the reviews saying how amazing the Sunday lunch at the fox is. tried them today and 100% agree with them. The lamb was cooked to perfection along with all the accompaniments. portion size is very good, Well done Omar, Kim and the team I will be visiting again. 😉

Fabulous meal and excellent service. Kaz and Kimberly really looked after us and our dog Wilson. He enjoyed his lamb dinner and all the fuss given him. Although not normally a fan of cauliflower cheese, i have to say this was wonderful!

Had an amazing sunday dinner at Omar’s table - seriously the food was incredible - it was the best sunday dinner we have ever had! The kids absolutely loved it, the portion sizes were perfect, really cannot recommend it enough! The staff were so lovely and Omar was wonderful he even made an effort to walk around and check that everyone was enjoying his food 🥹 All round a very lovely afternoon out, as a family enjoying the incredible food and lovely atmosphere!! My husband and I visited The Fox Inn Dosthill for Sunday Lunch. We had the roast beef and lamb and these came with fresh carrots, broccoli, swede, cabbage, roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. All cooked to perfection .Not forgetting the tumeric infused cauliflower cheese which was very tasty. This was followed by the most amazing sticky toffee pudding and a lemon pudding that was so delicious 😋. Would highly recommend this for anyone looking for an excellent Sunday roast. The staff are all very friendly and very efficient. Thank you all we will definitely be back .

Have eaten at the Fox twice since they started doing food, both times the food was delicious. Omar is a wizard and between Omar and Kim they have made the Fox pub a great place to be, socialise and want to go too. Well done team Fox

We have just come back from a Mothers Day Sunday lunch at the Fox and what a dinner it was! The food was delicious and just the right amount where you can really taste the Egyptian flare that Omar loves to mix up with the traditional food. The service was amazing with lots of wonderful smiling faces and there was a wonderful touch for Mothers Day where you can pick your own bouquet. Wonderful afternoon had by me my mom and dad and we will definitely be returning (this is our second time already). I highly recommend ☺️

It was our first time at the Fox Inn and we're definitely going to be back again. We had a lovely time and the food was absolutely delicious. A big bonus is the pub is dog friendly, we took our two dogs with us, the atmosphere is very welcoming and homely.

We ate Sunday lunch here for the first time yesterday. It was beyond expectations for a pub lunch. Perfectly cooked meat and vegetables, expert presentation and delicious. I ordered the lamb and my partner had the beef. I’d show you a photo but we got excited and ate it all. The roast potatoes were cooked in goose fat and were the best I’ve had outside of my own house. Desserts-wise, we didn’t need one but we had one! A fabulously tart crumble perfectly paired with a sweet custard. I had the vanilla cremioux (I know, I did it know what it was either) I won’t ruin it other than to say perfectly light and impressive. The chefs signature dish so you won’t find it anywhere else. Think deconstructed dessert full of cream and fruit flavours. Delicious. Our spend was increased because of our wine consumption (hic). This is a new venture and I urge anyone interested to give it a go and support this fledgling restaurant. Fingers crossed it grows and flies. We will be back!

We pop in quite regularly for a drink and we went for Sunday Roast last week. The food was absolutely lovely, the attention to detail was out of this world, so many little touches . The staff are all really friendly and helpful , it’s a really warm and welcoming pub .

Came on Sunday for Sunday lunch. I can’t recommend this enough. The best food I’ve ever had. Omar is a fantastic chef. This is the best I’ve ever had. Regarding the staff they were faultless so polite and were so welcoming and helpful. We’re constantly checking up on us to see if wanted any drink and if everything was fine with the food. Plates were clear quick. I honestly had the best experience I would highly recommend this place for food. We went and sat in the bar after and we was made to feel so welcome by the people in the pub. We had a great chat with the live music that was on. Thank you the fox team we will be back and I will be telling everyone about you.

My favourite pub! Friendly staff, great atmosphere, beer garden, dog friendly, live music, and just the best Sunday dinner I have every tasted, we just love coming here! When Omar's Table opened I heard so many say how good the food is, but until you have tried it for yourself you can't actually believe how amazing it really is. Full of flavour, the taste is just mouth watering, and even when I was full I still wanted to try more. Well done to the team here, this place really is a little gem to Dosthill.

Already visit this pub for drinks but tried Omar's Table that has recently opened. The food is incredible, all homemade and Omar even came round every table asking for feedback. We had nothing to say other than it was incredible! Staff were really friendly and service was quick.

Omar and Kim have absolutely transformed this pub. The staff are amazing, Omar cooks an incredible BBQ and we have never felt so welcome at a pub. This is our local moving forward and is totally worth a visit. Update - The Fox now offers a fantastic Sunday lunch cooked by Omar. I had the pleasure of going here for lunch last week and have already reserved to eat there again. Omar's flair and passion for cooking shines through. The roast beef was out of this world and just melted in the mouth. Cauliflower cheese unlike anything I have ever tasted. Booking in advance is essential as there is limited space but you won't be disappointed.

Excellent home made food, great value for money with a huge amount of effort put into each component of every meal. Highly recommend!

Just back from The Fox at Dosthill having tried out our first Sunday lunch there. Well, if you want superbly cooked and tasty food with great service then get yourself booked in.

13 people visited today for Sunday lunch and we all had hot piping delicious food delivered perfectly for all three courses. The food created by Omar is all authentically home cooked and absolutely delicious, fishcakes, soup, parfait, beef, lamb, crumble and brownie all fabulous. We will 100% be back 👍🏽 thank you to the team for looking after us all. Good wine list as well. We had a few bottles of the Californian Cabernet Sauvignon.

Even before Omar’s Kitchen this place has always been friendly and welcoming! We had a two course Sunday Roast meal and it was awesome! The portion sizes are decent! The food tastes amazing and the chef (Omar) comes out of the kitchen and has a good chat with you! I would highly recommend booking yourself in for a Sunday roast!

A Delightful Sunday Lunch at The Fox Sunday lunch at The fox was exactly what I needed—a hearty, comforting meal in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Located right in the heart of our community, this pub strikes the perfect balance between tradition and charm. I opted for the classic roast beef dinner, and it did not disappoint. The beef was cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavor, with just the right amount of pink in the center. The Yorkshire pudding was gloriously crisp on the outside and fluffy inside, while the roast potatoes were golden, crunchy, and seasoned beautifully. The accompanying vegetables—carrots were fresh and perfectly cooked. With Amazing side of cauliflower cheese!! Omar did us proud will definitely be booking again!!!

For me and the wife it was the first time eating at The Fox in Dosthill and we were not disappointed! Omar has been talking up his Sunday dinners for quite a while, so expectations were high and we were not disappointed :-) The broccoli and Stilton soup to start was honestly delicious and the home made, served warm bread was perfectly balanced with cumin, highlighting that Egyptian flair added to a British Sunday roast as advertised. The pickled cabbage with the terrine starter was amazing too! The chicken and lamb mains were exceptional, with everything cooked perfectly. Goose fat cut through the potato’s very well and again, the balance of flavours was on point. The gravy levels were more than adequate (dinner came with it on top and a spare boat delivered to the table which if a gravy lover like me, is an absolute necessity). When Omar and Kim took on the fox, the love and care shon through with every step they took to get the place to where it is now. This love undoubtedly shines through in their food too. It’s also contagious seemingly as their staff are all amazing too, special shout out to Kray! They really have built the making of an award winning pub for years to come I anticipate. We’ll be back for sure, 10/10.

We went for a lovely Sunday roast yesterday and it was amazing!! Everything was so fresh and flavourful - best roast we have had at a restaurant! Not only the roast was amazing, but the fishcake starter was packed full of flavour and the pudding was so yummy. Thank you to Omar for such a wonderful lunch.

Excellent food, delicious Sunday lunch for 4. Service was friendly and quick, nothing to much trouble. Great value for money.Omar came to meet us for a quick chat which was really nice. Looking forward to meals of an evening. Definitely coming back, had a really enjoyable time.

What a place Omar & Kim have turned this place into. Brilliant people, Great staff and all round amazing place to be. They have made us feel welcome and regulars and is great for the community in Dostill. The restaurant Tamworth needs. My partner and I have been regulars at The Fox for a good few years and have always had great experiences in the bar & lounge but Omar’s Table has just elevated The Fox from a pub for locals to a venue worth travelling to. We treated ourselves between Christmas and New Year to a Sunday roast and this exceeded all expectations. We both started with the broccoli and Stilton soup which was so creamy and packed full of flavour and accompanied with freshly baked bread, infused with rosemary and cumin which was an absolute delight. We followed the soup with the roasts (1 chicken, 1 lamb). The lamb was cut thick, pink and tender, the red cabbage full of seasonal spices and all of the roasted veg cooked perfectly. The portions are more than generous and for those gravy lovers the extra jug offers plenty! The only problem is they are fully booked for the next few weeks so we need to wait a while for our next experience. Well done Omar, Kim and all the team for delivering a top class restaurant not just for Dosthill, but for the whole of Tamworth.

The food, the service and the atmosphere at the Fox are a 10/10. Six of us went this afternoon and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our roast dinners, with all of us saying how gorgeous the mash potatoes were specifically. Waiting time for food was not too long and the place felt really welcoming and festive, there was even a live singer singing christmas songs ,aswell as others. All the staff were friendly and the place was spotlessly clean. Food at the Fox has been something the locals have wanted for a long time and Kim & Omar certainly delivered. Absolutely nailed it guys, we will definitely be returning .

Love the Fox at Dosthill, service is impeccable, lovely clean pub. The food has been outstanding every time, restaurant quality food without the prices ! A must try , can highly recommend burger or curry, chips are so so good. Omar & Kim do a great job here.

What a fabulous place. We had stopped coming to The Fox a few years ago but came to try it when we found out that it was under new management. Kim and Omar have done a smashing job and The Fox is a completely different place now. The minute you walk in you are made to feel welcome, the staff are all so friendly. The Fox now has a real family feel with the bouncy castle and events held through the school holidays and at weekends. Omar's BBQ food is delicious and a definite reason to visit, we tried the loaded home cooked chips today, epic! There are lots of little quirks that make this place special, such as the blankets when it's chilly, the doggy station and event nights such as poker, quizzes and darts. This is now our new regular and we always look forward to popping in. We wish Omar and Kim masses of success, it is definitely deserved,

The Fox Inn is a great family pub for all age groups. Kim and Omar have worked really hard to return the Fox to its former glory. They are so welcoming along with all their staff, especially Kray, top lad. Best local pub in the area.

This pub is a real gem because of the owners that are running it. I was booked as an entertainer for the Sunday afternoon Live music session and I have never felt more at home with all the staff and made to feel so welcome. The people that came to enjoy the afternoon where also a great bunch of people that created a lovely atmosphere. I believe it's a true reflection of the owners and their warm presence. Highly recommend this pub its one of the warmest welcoming places to be had a real community feel from the moment I stepped in the door even as an outsider ❤️

I have been coming here 25 years and this is the best I’ve seen it. Known the amazing landlady Kim and her family all that time and after a lean year or so under different management, her and her husband Omar are nailing it. Xx

Easily the nicest pub I’ve visited in Tamworth! Kim and Omar are the most welcoming Landlords, Kray and the bar staff are so helpful and friendly. There’s nothing the staff at this pub won’t do for their customers! Weekend BBQ’s and live singers on Sundays are fab too - Omar’s chicken wings, steak burgers and jumbo wild boar hot dogs are to die for! Would give 10 stars if I could!!
