Great little pub staff brilliant

I have not been to this pub for possibly 25 years. It has been done out recently, nice ale, dog friendly. I would go again.

Cracking pub made to feel welcome by all staff. Always call in here when I’m stopped overnight at Tamworth. Great choice of beers and the marstons pedigree is always excellent

Geat beer, atmosphere, prices and thoughly pleasent staff.

Great local drinking pub.. lovely atmosphere, drinks at reasonable prices, very popular with locals and always busy every day of the week. Also great outdoor seating area outside to sit and have a drink. Although we haven't tried yet but hear they are doing 'snack foods' which include scotch eggs, pork pies, cheese platter and various cobs and can't wait to try.

A great local, a friendly welcome to a new customer, well kept beer and dripping with support for RBL and RTTW from every angle. Clearly a well loved community pub, dog friendly for a bonus point.

New to the area poped in for few drinks on a friday recieved great service from the staff and was welcomed by everybody who was there! Great family feel and well decorated. We will definitely be returning and can't wait to try the food :)

The pub is a lot better, a lot cleaner and the Guinness is to die for, keep it up and good luck!!

Good Sunday lunches served, but unfortunately a children's menu isn't catered for. Also a bit expensive, but very generous portions served.

Have to say this is the best pub I've ever visited and I'm an alcoholic.

Been going here for a few years now and found Dave & Tina Avery friendly couple and the folk that use it also the Sunday lunches & Burger nights a're fantastic wot I call proper food.Good luck for the future. Only thing I found that goes against Dave is he supports Suderland. But I'm sure we can get him some help.

Lovely pub every boby freindly ive being a few times as a passing trucker

The only thing better than their burgers on Thursday nights is the home cooked lunch on Sunday. Small or large portions served with a smile in a really friendly atmosphere. Leave room for the home made apple crumble though - at £2.50 a portion, it's a bargain!

Is a local Pub but is quite dingy, and not really great drinks. Not a very lively place and is very football orientated.
