Ordered take away so service and atmosphere n/a loads of food for the money but I would rather have less food and better quality all seamed quite greasy and not as flavoursome as other local thai restaurants so unfortunately will not be ordering from here again

Went for dinner and it was amazing! Portion sizes are huge🫶🏻 The food was so tasty so much flavour and cooked to perfection! Food came out within 5-10 minutes of ordering and the service was lovely. Staff are very nice and attentive, we were given prawn crackers and dip as well as a fruity bubble tea on the house. A very welcoming atmosphere.

Absolutely bangin’ Bao Buns. The K Baos were my favourite. Everything tasted fresh and nicely balanced. Nutella Banana Spring rolls were great for desert too. Will definitely be back when in the area, my compliments to the chef and Boss Man for some top eats.

Fantastic selection of pan-Asian cuisine! We had three of the bao buns, two noodle dishes, the BBQ wings and the chicken gyoza and everything was super fresh and flavourful - highly recommended if you're in or around the Tamworth area!

Ordered some duck rolls, prawn gyozas, basil chilli beef and beef chow mein After literally the first bite of the duck roll, it had my taste buds tingling. 👌💯🔥🔥🔥absolutely mouthwatering. Prawn gyozas tasted delicious aswell The beef chow mein and basil chilli beef was both tasty and flavoursome. The size of the portions are massive, for me it's like two servings definitely. Washed the food down with some ramune drinks and refreshing mocktails. Top marks to the chef... Wonderful customer service...💯 All in all, a very enjoyable meal...💯💯 I would Highly Recommend to anyone to try out this establishment for their food.

2nd time ordering and just so delicious. Food was fresh and hot. Great portion size, definitely enough for next day left overs. Very well priced as well imo. A lot of takeaways come swimming in grease but not from here! Can't wait to order again.

Ordered a couple of times. (7 People) All dishes were tasty and hot (I collected) the menu doesn't have plain chips, only listed with sauces. But the katsu sauce we had was in its own tub anyway. The chips were a bit soft as opposed to nice crispy ones, and probably won't order those again. The seaweed salad was a little confusing, as it was just a round tub of seaweed. Did wonder if the salad was missing! All in all, slight change to the Indian/Chinese takeaways. The staff were pleasant and threw in a couple of cheese cakes. Cheers

Collected a new item from their menu, Fish Katsu cutry. Really enjoyable food, probably best in Tamworth in my opinion. Staff all great and pleasant whilst waiting. Looking forward to venturing there again to try more

Best take away iv had in years. If I could only have 1 take away again for the rest of my life. It would be this. Rang up for delivery and the man on the phone was brilliant did everything to help me. And so was the driver that brought it. Not got a bad word to say.

We ordered from here for a takeaway for two. We both had a curry - beef masamam and beef panang (that come with rice), and shared a Tom Yum soup. Everything was really delicious and portions are good sizes. I haven't found a good Thai takeaway in ages. I would say you get what you pay for and overall it's value for money and a nice 'treat' takeaway.

Have ordered a few times from Raya, always been impressed with the food. This evening we were missing a Katsu sauce. Quick call and within 5 minutes they delivered the missing item. 5* service!!!! That’s how you look after customers.

Popped in on a whim one Friday night. Was a little taken aback that it’s not really a proper sit-down restaurant, but more of a take-away with a couple of benches, but the menu looked good so we ordered anyway. Despite a 40-60 minute wait for take away orders, we got our food quickly. Decent portion with plenty of meat/seafood. I had the basil chilli beef noodles, while my partner had a spicy prawn rice bowl. Both were delicious and tasted hot and fresh. Probably wouldn’t sit in again, but will definitely order food to eat at home. Customer service was good and reasonable prices on mains. Only slight quibble was the delivery drivers all sat around chatting and going in and out to smoke and leaving the door open so got a bit cold. Overall a decent experience though and will use again. Thanks!

No rating on atmosphere, It was a delivery and It was very quick.. very. The Korean chicken bites were ok. The green curry was ok too. The normal flavours I associate with with these dishes were over powered by the heat … I like spicy but I like flavour too. This was too much chilli to little flavour… a shame but on this basis it doesn’t warrant 4.5 stars. Sorry

Ordered via just eat. ABYSMAL food. Drenched in oil, bland, soggy noodles stuck together. This food was inedible. Called for support, got a rude individual zero apologies and received a million excuses like I don’t run my own food establishment. Highly concerning his lack of level 3 training as he asked me what oil levels have to do with the food safety! Sample stored of each dish. Will be likely contacting the food safety agency given the man’s attitude “ I don’t have time for this” Avoid like the plague this place is vile!

Really lovely place, very friendly and tasty food. Ended up stuck in Tamworth as my train was delayed and I missed my connection. Was having a pretty miserable time until I stumbled upon Rayu. The friendly atmosphere and good food turned my evening around!

Food from here is absolutely delightful, full of flavour, lots of vegetables etc. The menu is large and varied, and caters to both non vege, vege and vegan. Delivery is quick. This is hands down the best asian takeaway I've ever had.

Place was very good, food outstanding and staff were very kind and friendly. The bao buns were very nice and the Mee Goreng noodles were fantastic. They also make boba as well and it really compliments the food. A must visit if you are near Tamworth

So by chance we ended up here, it has to be said a lovely little gem of a place. Food quality is fresh and tastes like it. Customer service is great. The seating/in dine part could be better. Lovely place, I would say portion wise and quality of food you get more for your money than most places. First, try on bubble tea, and I'm a fan now.

We ordered twice from here while staying in the area. Reasonably priced & good portion sizes. Delivery took pretty much exactly as long as they said it would. The Mee Goreng was excellent. The Bao Buns & Nasi Goreng were very good too. The Chicken Katsu was only average, but if that's the worst you can say then it's not that bad is it?

Was passing by as I was visiting some family and popped into Rayu in Tamworth. This place blew my expectations as I was only looking for something quick to eat - the chicken bao buns were 10/10, as well as the Korean chicken. I’m a huge fan of bubble tea and this easily has to be the best bubble tea I’ve tried in the midlands. I went for a Brown Sugar Premium with tapioca to finish off and it was great. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly and I will definitely be back with my friends and family!

Very impressed with the quality of food and prices. This is my new favourite takeaway in Tamworth. The family really liked the bao buns, Katsu curry, chicken bites and the bubble tea. Highly recommend!

Rank. Worst chinese/Asian food I've had. £10 for a chow mein that has oyster sauce in it. Oyster sauce should be nowhere near a chow mein. Not quite sure how so many people rate this place so highly. Come to Scotland and try good chinese food at half the cost.

I order from here regularly and the staff are always kind and efficient! I made a mistake with my order last time and they fixed it right away, and were very compassionate and understanding. The food is massively underrated, and has become my firm favourite :)

I have got to say, this is fast becoming my favourite takeaway in Tamworth! Not only is the food delicious (and I'm slowly working my way through the menu) but delivery is on time, if not early and the food is always hot! Will definitely keep ordering when it's a treat night!

Me and my boyfriend have seen this place advertised and thought yesterday night we'd actually give it a go. WOW! And that's an understatement. We were so happy with the dishes we recieved, not only was it presented lovely but it tastes amazing! I'm not one thats experienced many foods apart from pub grub but this is my new favourite. The boa buns were so tasty I'm definitely ordering them everytime but then again I enjoyed every bite. Can't say I'm the best with chopsticks though but I'm getting there 🤣. I highly recommend for anyone else to give this place a go, I'm happy to of tried something different then the usual takeaways and extremely happy with what we recieved. Delicious food, friendly service and wish I had enough money to buy from them everyday 😋

Prawn crackers - unlike any I’ve tasted before, most cuisines offer pale plain tasting bland ones. These had a real cultural authentic style to them and actually tasted like prawns, went well with the provided sweet chilli sauce. 9/10 The bao buns - confused by the menu as the paper menu we had at home had the “K bao buns” as salt and pepper chicken strips yet on the website ordered through was detailed as pulled beef. Was infact neither, was breast fillet chicken which any of the 3 would do tbh. The slaw goes well with the Korean bbq, but as for the bao bun it’s self, they’re nice but kinda weird. Not sure id be craving them in the future but enjoyed still. 7/10 Katsu chicken fries - Chips were average nothing special but done the job never the less. Tad disappointed with the portion size and katsu sauce was a bit bland but well put together with the other ingredients and went really well with the chow mein. 7/10 Chow mein noodles - Cleary Rayu Restaurants haymaker and boy it did just that, punching my tongue with the perfect blend of tastiest flavours, with an almost creamy like texture as though designed in a laboratory at the hands of food experts and taste bud scientist. Best noodle dish I’ve ever ate. 10/10. Conclusion - Thank you Rayu restaurant for bringing flavours from across the world to my front door. A little pricey but not unreasonable. I’d love you to offer a larger tray like platter consisting of plenty small portion selections off your menu, think that could be a popular hit. On the whole, great eat and will be back. 8/10.

Came in for a bubble tea, a caramel milk tea with tapioca. Staff were chatty and friendly, who seem very interested in their customers. Price was incredibly high, much higher than CiTea other small businesses by over £2, even £3 at my normal place. Usually i don’t mind paying extra for a drink, however the quality was… not so desirable. The liquid itself was rather watery, and not as flavoursome as you would expect. The tapioca is my main complaint however. Im not sure what happened exactly, but it was bitty and crumbly, and not at all chewy like normal tapioca, not to mention a completely different taste. Sadly, i could only drink around 40% of this drink before I genuinely could not drink more. I really hate having to write complaints, especially to lovely members of staff, however it is in hopes that next time i come by, i might see an improvement in the drinks quality as the store is very new- and is more than likely still getting its foothold.

Absolutely beautiful. Soft and spicy bao buns, green curry was full of flavour and the katsu rice box was gone before I even got a look in. Portion size is huge but everything is fresh and healthy. We will definitely be back.

Firstly I have to say the food was delicious, I cannot say anything bad about how it tasted, I enjoyed it. We tried it for the first time and thought we had found a new place to get take away from. But a few hours later my wife was being violently sick as the food gave her horrific food poisoning. I’m sure this is not a regular occurrence, and I know that these things happen. But naturally it’s left an awful impression. So we likely won’t eat from here again.

Some of the best food we've ever had! Decided to sit in, and the gentleman server was very welcoming and friendly. Now the food... to die for! The bao buns were ridiculous. The satay chicken, possibly the best I have ever had. Everything was fresh, hot and mouthwateringly good! Would definitely visit again!

Just pop by on recommendation of a colleague. The food were delicious. The Nasi goreng prawn was fresh and taste like Malaysian The Thai green curry was my daughter favorite. The Tom Yum soup really taste Thai. We finished the whole bowl and asking for more. Will definitely go again.

Popped in for something quick to eat and didn’t really know what to expect. The staff were incredibly friendly and my wife and I ordered a couple of dishes. We decided to take the weight off our feet and eat in. To be honest, as it appears to be a takeaway restaurant I was expecting generic food in a box, so was really pleasantly surprised to receive an amazingly fresh and tasty meal which was well presented at the table. Will definitely go back and would highly recommend to anyone.

My partner and I moved to Tamworth earlier on this year and found that our options are quite limited in the area foodwise (difficult for us having moved from Birmingham City Centre, where we were spoilt for choice!). However, we came across Rayu-Pan Asian online and saw all the positive reviews so we decided to give it a try a few days ago and we were both pleasantly surprised! My partner ordered the panang curry and I ordered the pulled beef bao buns and beef mee goreng noodles. All dishes were full of flavour and plentiful! I even saved a bao bun and half of my noodles for lunch the following day. The gentleman that took our order was really friendly. We are so glad that we found this place and will definitely be visiting again in the near future. Thank you!!

Had the Mei Goreng, Chicken Panang curry and one order of the BAO Buns. Food was delicious but very small portion of the Panang and it's was just under £33 in total for 2 people. £16.50 each for 80% noodles and rice is eye wateringly expensive, hence only 4 stars. Would love to order again but it's out of my price range.

Ordered a large meal tonight. Very disappointed with the panang curry. £14 for just under half a container. Also ordered a nasi gorang whitch tastes nothing like the traditional dish it is supposed to be. The rice was nice. The tomyum soup was bland and again not what its supposed to be. Ive never before seen huge lumps of Brockley in this soup. Yes its a nice change but this restaurant isnt all that. If you want proper food i sugest you try Malaysian delight in birmingham city center.

Great food and good customer service have been trying their food for the last two days and it’s really amazing .They offer a wide selection of Asian food and they serve it at a high standard.
