Chefs Inn in Tamworth

Food was good but is a little bit bland, no taste in the sweet & sour chicken , watered down too much, sorry. Spent over £80 , didn’t even get free crackers.

Piping hot food and very delicious definitely recommend this company

the driver was rude, demanded I go out on the street to collect my food. I explained I'd had eye surgery a few days ago I wasn't able to come out. he hung up on me. I started to call the restaurant to report this when my doorbell rang. I let the man in on the intercom as I live in a block of flats that HAS got lifts. he banged on my door and as I opened the door he threw my food at me to catch, which I just managed before it hit the floor. This is the second time I've had this driver. Awful ser

Really wish they would improve the chips! They were awful.. had 3 out the whole bag. Dry ,hard warm… like they were from last week . 🤷‍♀️

The food arrived 10 minutes after it said it was delivered and 10 minutes after the upper limit of time frame. The food was barely warm.

The food was terrible the ribs have no meat on them it's just fat and the curry had hardly any meat in it I Will never be ordering anything again.

was supposed to be here by 7.20 then at 7.16 messaged saying late and delivered at 7.45

Food was 10 minutes late, doesn't seem a lot but I ordered at 17.50 for our food 2 arrive 1 hour and 50 minutes later, appreciate it is New Year's eve but waited a long time. Food was like warm at best and had to be reheated.

Food was not edible. Will not order again

Food arrived an hour and a half after ordering, and it was lukewarm. The curry sauce was not runny, it was gloopy, was awful. I dont know whether it’s because the food was cold but it had no flavour either. Massive disappointment and will not be ordering from here again.

The blandest Chinese I've ever had, tasted like flour and water, I had to check to make sure I hadn't lost my taste!! The delivery driver banged my living room windows instead of ringing my obvious doorbell or knocking my front door which is right next to the window!! Don't order from here if you want good food and delivery drivers who don't look through your windows.

Delivery driver banged on our living window rather than use the doorbell (literally next to where the window is). If the curry has even seen spice in it's existence I'd be surprised and I eat mild food.

My mixed veg was mainly onions and bean sprouts, the sweet and sour sauce was watered down and the chicken balls were poor quality meat with tendons still intact.

Not impressed with the food was barely warm and curry sauce didn’t have any flavour also after spending nearly £40 I would of at least expected some prawn crackers thrown in

1 plastic box contained a brown a brown gravy disappointment and the other a bright orange gloop that was overly hot (not spicy just cayenne pepper)... overall very poor

We love their food as it's the only local Chinese nearby to amington. Singapore noodles and Singapore rice are our family favorites. Service is good but they take cash only due to card commission. Which makes it a bit difficult for someone like me who is used to contactless transactions It's cheap to collect than delivery by atleast 35% ..

driver wouldn't deliver my food to my door because it was raining. I'm a disabled person who had to go to his car on a dark car park in order to receive my food. which was ordered to be delivered... I'm now in bad back pain because of this. he said my address was incorrect, I've checked my order and its in full and complete. he just didn't want to get wet I guess. shame as although the foil tray was damaged, the food although cold was tasty.

First time ordering from here and definitely not the last. Order was ready really quickly, really good Chow Mein and great prawn crackers.

The worst pork sweet and sour ever had. Could not even taste the pork it was a soggy mess. Tasteless don’t think their was any pork in will never ever use again

Worst meal I have tasted sweet sour pork never tasted any pork just a soggy mess. As if it was made long time ago batter was so soggy awful taste. Even the dogs refused to eat it was that bad

Very lovely food. Chose the meal set for 2 with ribs, sweet sour chicken and beef in black bean sauce and some prawn toast.

Only decent thing was the delivery time. Used to be really nice Chinese back in the day but chicken curry just tasted like pepper water army rations are better

Delivery time was as detailed when we ordered but even though we had paid a delivery fee when ordering we were called and told in order for the food to be delivered we had to pay a further delivery fee to the driver in order to get our food!

Deserves far higher rating. Ordered for 11 people. Order was all correct and no complaints from anyone. One down side was the price for extras , like a pot of sauce !

wrong order delivered they put it right but special chow mein not very special all noodles and two prawns one piece of chicken two pieces of pork. very poor. chips horrid.

Chicken and sweetcorn soup was way too sweet, satay chicken tasted like peanut butter, chicken wings had hardly any meat! Only good thing was the Chow Mein and even my 15 year old brother can make a good Chow Mein! Real disappointment. Never eating here again.

Food delivered quickly and still hot. Not overly impressed by the fact the special curry had only 2 prawns, and beef that was quite chewy. Kung Po chicken only had a small amount of chicken, instead it was made up of mainly onion and green pepper, also only 1 nut in whole portion. Overall quite expensive for this quality and portioning of food, no complimentary prawn crackers and not even a fortune cookie.

Food came much earlier than expected, which meant it went cold as the people it was ordered weren’t back yet! Not edible. I wouldn’t use again.
