Lovely take away meal last night.

Deserves far higher rating. Ordered for 11 people. Order was all correct and no complaints from anyone. One down side was the price for extras , like a pot of sauce !

Chicken and sweetcorn soup was way too sweet, satay chicken tasted like peanut butter, chicken wings had hardly any meat! Only good thing was the Chow Mein and even my 15 year old brother can make a good Chow Mein! Real disappointment. Never eating here again.

Food delivered quickly and still hot. Not overly impressed by the fact the special curry had only 2 prawns, and beef that was quite chewy. Kung Po chicken only had a small amount of chicken, instead it was made up of mainly onion and green pepper, also only 1 nut in whole portion. Overall quite expensive for this quality and portioning of food, no complimentary prawn crackers and not even a fortune cookie.

Food came much earlier than expected, which meant it went cold as the people it was ordered weren’t back yet! Not edible. I wouldn’t use again.

I've tried to resolve this with justeat directly so I didn't need to leave a review, however they've just fobbed me off. ordered on Friday, arrived quickly and most of it was fine. however the prawn toast had no prawns in it... like none at all. I think it's probably just a prep mistake, however, I've paid £6 for fancy fried bread. justeat have made it as difficult as possible to report issues discreetly so I've been left with no option but to leave a review.

High Quality hot food with a lovely sauce

we have been looking for a decent Chinese since we moved from Brum & now wr think we have finally found it. The food was delicious & full of flavours. Portion sizes were good. Food arrived hot. overall great food. Will definitely order again. Thank you 😊

This food was awful dry cold and I wouldn’t feed it to a dog really disappointed

I've been ordering here now for the last 12 months near enough twice a month, I've never really had a bad order and the food has always been alright but sometimes they have made mistakes on my order and also when I've had the duck which is a few times it's been very dry but for myself it's not a bad Chinese takeaway from here.

Shredded crispy chicken and curry wasn't amazing. I've had better and tastier.

Another meal early and river very friendly

The ribs hurt to chew because they were so tough. Food was very early, by like 30 minutes. Overall the meal was okay but the sauce on the ribs did most of the heavy lifting of the meal. the duck chow mein was good but I don't think I'd order from here again.

Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. Our food was over a hour late. The lady on the phone didn’t really seem to care. Rang up 3 times and the lady couldn’t really tell me anything. The duck we ordered was burnt to a crisp. Couldn’t eat it.

Arrived early, food was hot and tasty although disappointed with the prawn toast as it tasted just like fried bread and no prawns!

Our second order from the Chefs Inn, so early days but so far so good. The mixed starters were a better than most we've had recently. All food the has been hot, also delivered in good time. The only negative is, why are prawn crackers priced at £3:90 per bag? They're 20p and take 30 secs to fry. Chinese restaurants must think we are all stupid....lol

Missed the chips bbq sauce and rice and the sweet and sour chicken was like water

Not good, ordered the rice and chips with curry sauce, barely a handful of chips with some sauce on top of dry rice as no sauce reached it. Totally bland, dry and chips seemed reheated. Definitely a thumbs down. Also had a chow mein that was also bland. Disappointing, as usually better from here

It was the best quality Chinese food I've tasted in the whole of UK to be quite honest, without exaggeration. I could tell it was made to order and the ingredients were high quality. The flavour was spot on. Was perfectly cooked. Was delivered 15 mins sooner than scheduled, love it. I wish I could take this back home to London every weekend. Our 4 year old who is normally a fussy eater, ate to their heart's content. I think it would be safe to say they ate for 2 people. Compliments to the chef.

we've given this restaurant plenty of opportunity to serve good , hot food yet l recently the orders we have placed don't seem acceptable. no more chances will not use again .food always cold

The order came on time, earlier than the time shown on justeat. The soup is good. The chow mein is fine but I preffer more the one from Wok Express from Erdington. Good food overall.

Dreadful, no flavour to the curry at all, hardly any meat considering it contains four different meats, by all means perfect if your an onion lover the filling to the sauce was 97% onion 2% peas and mushrooms and we save the last 1% for the meat. Will not be using again

Sorry guys. The ribs tasted weird. They were also very fatty. We didn’t eat these and threw them in the bin. Your chow mein was nice though but the ribs to us, tasted off.

Food was very nice and fresh, however it took them 1:55h to deliver food. Called the restaurant and been informed that the food is being cooked after 1:25mins since order placed. Ridiculous!

There must be a new chef, as I’ve never had a problem before this order. No flavour to the chow mein and the Yuk Sung meat tasted more like the sauce that goes with the duck pancakes, they even included a tub of the sauce! Not good 👎🏼 Arrived early, which was fine, but no notice it was on the way.

Spend 45 pound on a meal and they don't give you free prawn crackers and the food was nearly cold aswell.

The sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style just tasted like a bottle of vinegar the curry was thick and creamy chow mein have no case to it and. The bbq sauce didn’t even taste like bbq and. I will never order from there again really wasn’t happy with the food today from there

Really tasty, shame delivery was a little late but food was still delivered well packaged and warm. To say this was a new years eye delivery I am impressed!

chips not very nice can't eat onion skins

The order was wrong. We ordered king prawn with water chestnuts and bamboo shoots. What we got was king prawn and broccoli. The crispy chicken was just batter. We have used them in the past and the food has been lovely. I don’t know if this was a new chef or management but we will not be using them again.

Driver rang me as not happy saying that I didn’t come to the door when he rang it and that I should have been looking out for my order! Yet he delivered it to the wrong house and left it in the porch before telephoning and driving off! He came back, retrieved the order, gave to me then said I’m lucky that it was still there?! Food was lovely, manners not so much!

For some reason this was sent to a place we don’t even live. Was forced to pay a 2 pound additional charge to get delivered despite living less than a half mile from the takeaway due to the wrong address. Food was 30 min late after a call to say they would redeliver to the right house in 15 minutes. Driver was rude and despite handing over the money still had to audacity to tell me to update my address despite them delivering to us 3 times prior. Sauce was over the chips and like mush. I’m not happy about the lack of chicken in the chicken chow mein I ordered! It was more like a plain chow mein! I have never had this happen before from here! The vegetable spring rolls had no vegetables in them! The only good part of my order was the chicken balls & sauce. Feeling ripped off for £22.00 The delivery was very fast.

The food had a nice taste hardly any chicken in the meal also too much onions in on of the meat dishes. Again hardly no meat in the dish’s we ordered. Had to pay for crackers which I’ve never known that before. Called the company and said do you get crackers for free. They said no only over 50£ spend which was a shock! Would not recommend eating here as we spent over 33£ and it was very poor.

My food was cold and was missing my 10 chicken balls I order from here all the time never had a problem!

Food OK, sweet and sour sauce tasted like vinegar.. egg fried rice dudbr taste or look right... disappointing

Food was ordered at 5:30, told it would arrive at 18:40, then was ‘delayed’ until 18:45-19:05, then didn’t arrive until 19:12. Food was cold, chips were bland and soggy, rice was bland and tasted like cardboard. Could understand if it was a busy Friday or Saturday night but it’s a Tuesday evening. Was hopeful for this based on reviews but won’t be returning again unfortunately based on the above.

Chips missing from order had to wait ages for chips to be delivered so test of food was cold. When chips arrived only one portion arrived but had paid for three!! Not helpful on phone and nothing done about it. Awful Service. Won’t use again

I have made a complaint about the delivery driver charging us extra because he claimed he was out of area! An absolute joke!

Took ages to be delivered food was almost cold nit happy at all! Cost me over £20 for cold food and long delivery, however the delivery driver was very lovely and polite, won't be ordering from here again 😑
