Food was yummy but it took almost an hour

My food still isn't here! Every time they go to the wrong address first. My food should have arrived an hour ago.....restaurant doesn't answer calls....

Expensive food with poor quality and small portion . The portion of Sweet and sour Chicken Cantonese style was full with fried breading parts that mean almost no chicken for 8£ and the chopped carrots was black .over fried chicken small remnants impossible to chew. No wonder if they use rapeseed (the cheapest) Oil

Food was great & was delivered early. We have been trying to find a decent Chinese takeaway in Tamworth for awhile and will definitely be ordering from here again.

First of all I would give a 0 stars if I could. I feel like I have just eat part of a cat . Totally inedible absolutely rank disgusting and filth I really wish I had read the reviews before ordering from here. This is possibly not just the worst Chinese I have ever attempted to eat but actually the worst meal I have ever Eaton. Absolutely shocking of a place it needs shutting down. Tried to call them and I’m explaining how poor the food was and all they could say was your food is out for delivery yeeeee’ erm no love the food is in my kitchen bin. Absolutely filthy I strongly avoid and recommend no body eat here I wouldn’t even feed this food to a homeless person it would just be bang out of order to do so. Oh and I ordered vegetable spring rolls please tell me why it had meat inside????? SHUT IT DOWN

Really disappointed with the food. Some of it was kissing but the rest was cold. The Singapore chow mein was extremely dry, no spice and tasteless. The curry was more onion than anything else. The spare ribs were tough. The yuk sung was all stuck together. The rice was missing and didn’t arrive. Really not worth the money and hugely disappointed. The spring rolls were nice

Poor quality food… Chicken Balls clearly reheated from previous day were inedible, chow mein was cold and sauce was spreadable… avoid at all costs! Never again!!!

haven't used this place in a while and so glad we decided to give it a try again. food was fresh and tasted amazing and was delivered early.

food said it was been delivered before 6.45pm however didn't turn up until 10past7 and it was cold rang the restaurant twice and all they said was it had left the shoo and was on its way

overcooked and dried out didn't even plate it up, waited a hour and half for more disappointment thanks now the kids are crying and hungry how can u serve this

Food was barley warm had to throw all of it away, rice was overcooked, the chips was warm on outside and stone cold in the middle suggesting they had be refried, never ordering from here again

Dangerously bad food, how this place is still open is a joke. Ran by devils who make evil evil food do not eat here whatever you do. I wish there was an option for -5 stars

Delivery driver failed to deliver order. Received no phone calls regarding any confusion. Phoned up restaurant who said it was taken back there. They hadn’t got in contact with me. Sent it back out for delivery. Took an extra 40 minutes to arrive. Naturally, food was cold when it arrived. Would be ok if communication was better.

Ordered and didn’t even send my food, instead send someone else’s order which was a greasy looking mess. Phoned up to cancel as the order was already 2 hours late and they put the phone down on me. They then cancelled the order on Uber and still charged me. Have reported to Uber and urge everyone to boycott this scummy place. I will be paying a personal visit to get money back very soon. 0 stars if possible. Rude, Arrogant, reheated food.

Asked for my curry to hot and spicy it wasn’t not order again

My order took 2hrs to arrive, this is appalling. I ordered at 18:46 and it arrive at my door at 20:44. Food quality was also poor

Food arrived 2 hours after ordering, and 30 mins beyond the end of the window. Food was cold and needed to be reheated.

Food was ordered for 1815 yet the spare ribs were bone dry like yesterday's left overs. Everything had to be reheated. Chow mein was dry and so were chicken balls. No way was this cooked fresh. Awful.

Informed by Just eat that food was on the way 25 minutes ago, phoned China Palace and she said ‘they are just waiting on a driver’ so I’ve reported to a just eat

Besides the food being delivered late, bearing in mind it was ordered over an hour earlier. It was almost cold, even though it was delivered in an insulated bag. I ordered the chicken, chips & peas meal, and the only thing that tasted half-decent was the chicken, which was cooked very well. Though, I don't know why the gravy tasted slightly of sweet and sour sauce. I also ordered a chinese meal, which looks ok. That is for tomorrow, so I'm holding out hope for meal no.2. In the meantime, I would not recommend this service or the food, to anyone.

Loved the food will order again

I orderd on uber eats and scheduled for 8pm as i was out it then arrived about 715 and 730 i wasn't in until just before 8 which was qhy i scheduled the order I then called up at about 830 for them to blame me and say its my fault but they will send another it then arrived about 930 so very late and the food was overcooked+ chewy I believe this was the same food which they delivered at the wrong time but warmed up, won't be using again

Awful. It's making my stomach turn thinking about it. The duck first smelt off, then there were just these curled up pieces of tubes ....no idea what they were, but it wasn't duck fat. I tasted what bit of meat there was and it was off. Absolutely gross, and the beef curry....sauce was lovely, but the beef was like chicken. It just all went in the bin.

Nearly 3 hours since ordering it arrived. Just eat informed on route....45mins later I called to be left on hold for 5mins and clearly forgotten. Rang again through the Rainbow number ehich i can hear them answering as im on hold.....to be told its definitely on the way. Another 45mins passes to be told the same thing via the Rainbow number as China Palace has been left off the hook! Told that they're really busy. If you can't handle the business don't take it!

2 hours wait on delivery. When you ring up asking were your order is thru said on their way. 30 minutes later still no Oder.

Absolutely awful, reheated chips (dried out and stale) same with chicken balls. Have some respect for the people who order from you sake won’t be ordering again.

The five of us that ordered all agreed this was the worst meal any of us had ordered. The food was of poor quality and most of it went straight into the bin.

Had an uber eats delivery from China Palace. Food hideous! Cold, stringy, dodgy looking meat. We decided to return food to take out resturant - and found China Palace shop has closed down! The next door resturant is processing orders in China Palaces name (and prices, which are more expensive than their own!). After informing owner/chef how bad the food was and after a 'honest discussion' he cancelled the order on the system so uber could refund. Please do not use, honestly far better places to eat. I suspect the few mouthfuls we tried will have a horrendous affect tomorrow! 😒😒😒

China Palace has shut down - Rainbow (next door) completing their orders! Food totally uneadible, cold, stringy, and appeared reheated. Requested full refund.(Strange that Rainbow menu prices cheaper than China Palaces, but charged China Palaces prices!).

apsolutley incredible food, so tasty!!! And the delivery driver deserves a huge pay rise because he listened to the delivery notes and i am SO GRATEFUL!! Overall very happy :)

Really poor quality everything was over cooked and dry. Salt chilli chicken had zero spice to it completely bland.

Food came early which I was pleased about, then to find two items missing off the order phoned back no apology was given then had to wait over twenty minutes for the missing items too be delivered Won’t be ordering from here again.

The won tons were just pastry with no filling? Everything arrived sweaty and had to chuck in the air fryer. Duck seemed like it was blended not shredded and was mainly fat? Ribs were the only decent thing. Hole meal was just strange in all honesty

Got a takeaway on Saturday from China palace. Absolutely disgusting. The chicken they used was covered in jelly. Smelt and tasted disgusting. Avoid

Food is bland, tasteless and inedible. Please keep your hard earned money in your pocket and find a better takeaway.

Not good at all. Soup tasted like pure salt. Crispy duck pancakes were like biscuits and just snapped instead of being able to roll up. Hot shredded beef didn’t taste too good either and chips were cold. Will be crossing this off my local takeaway.

Over 20 mins late, I called, they said sorry, we're busy... on arrival, the driver asked me to check everything because they'd had several wrong orders that evening. Food tastes great, but because late, it was barely warm to cooling. Disappointing!

I've never felt so scammed in my life. Those cost over 7 quid.

The order was within time slot, but one item was missing. Called and was told a driver was there. Then about 30 minutes later it turned up.

Prawn toast was soggy, rice was sticky, chips were rock hard, salt and pepper crispy chicken was burnt, best thing about the food was the prawn crackers and they don’t even make them! Oh also forgot both the curry sauce and sweet and sour sauce

Food was OK but please heed my advice and remove the "hot and sour" soup from the menu. That's the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted. It was like someone had wringed their gym shorts out into a bowl and thrown some tepid chicken in with it. Delivery was super fast, actually really early.
