Had a wonderful Saturday lunch here! Food is reasonably priced with good portions sizes, the staff were SO nice and good vegan options. Also lovely to see large selection of fairly priced soft drinks , including cafetiere coffee.

What a cracking little place this is. Went here as my daughter wanted a great burger, and it didn't disappoint. The burgers were flavoursome (including the vege option for my wife) and the portion size was good. The service was excellent and very friendly. A must visit if you are looking for a great burger. The best burger in Tamworth. On a Saturday you can get a burger, fries and a drink for £15. The burger was tasty and the service was very good too. I’d visit again.

Having read the reviews, I thought this would be the perfect place to eat after returning from a short break. Was I ever wrong. It started well with a nice welcome, then we ordered garlic bread to share while we decided which burger to try. The garlic bread was excellent, saving this from what, otherwise, would have been a 1 star review. We were seated downstairs, which was empty apart from one other couple, but the noise from upstairs made it hard to hold a conversation. We were told it was a 40th birthday party. I ordered a smoky mcsmokyson beefburger, my wide a basic Betty beef, with a side of onion rings. I've been eating burgers since a high school student in the 60s in USA. I've never had anything like it. Not in a good way. The bun was poor, the cheese undetectable, the burger dry, almost solid and hard to cut, the bbq sauce minimal. The fries would have been good if seasoned, but they weren't. The salt was in little paper packets which I detest. The onion rings were generous, but as they cooled they became nasty. The noise grew and so did our disappointment. I had high hopes, but they were shattered.

Delicious burgers! Limited menu, burgers, chicken, salads, loaded chips and sides but we loved this as many restaurants offer too much choice! The burgers were really tasty, with lovely fries. The service was friendly and attentive. Nice little touches like Icy cold glasses for the beer and soft drinks. We will definitely go back!

Don't think I've ever had a better burger

We popped in last night for some food as we had a child free evening. We wanted to give the restaurant a go as it was being recommended by multiple friends. We arrived about half seven and was greeted with a relaxed uplifting atmosphere, with good ground music being played perfect for a Friday evening after work. The service staff brought drinks to the table in chilled glasses which was so refreshing as it was 30 degree heat outside. I went for the Smokey Mcsmokeyson burger and my wife had the Cajun magic burger. Food was hot well prepared and tasted great. Staff were friendly and polite throughout. I would recommend giving The Woodshed burger company a go if you live or are in the Tamworth area. We will soon again guys and thank you for a lovely evening. Greg and Amie

A fantastic place, their food is delicious, with a great range on the menu, with vegan options too, which is good to see. And it’s very good value for money. The staff are excellent, friendly, helpful, can’t fault them at all

This place is a top 5 burger worldwide. Great flavour, not overpriced, great service. Perfectly seasoned everything. Onion rings are easily the best I have had in decades. Great little Burger place, can't say enough good things.

In the area for an event so thought we’d give it a go. Really good classic burgers, none of this smash burger nonsense! Just good quality meat, nicely cooked, in a tasty bun, holding it all together. Really pleasant, helpful staff who were suitably attentive to us without too much fuss & some good tunes to boot.

Brilliantly friendly place... The food is simple (that's a positive compliment), good, wholesome and well priced. Clean basic décor with a great atmosphere. They do exactly what their name is "burger Co". If you don't like burgers, it's not for you. 10/10

Great little restaurant in Tamworth. Was surprised to find such a delicious burger joint. The burger (Smokey McSmokeyson) was made fresh, in fact it was the hottest burger I had ever had. Also, try the scumbag fries (chips)!

Went on a date today with my partner. Burgers are our safe food. I'm relativity fussy with food and have massive social anxiety with new places. But this place was awesome. Firstly the decor was pleasing to look and fun. Atmosphere was pretty epic, wasn't too busy, comfy and the music was great song after great song. Staff were happy and friendly so it only added to feeling comfortable. Hit full marks there. The burgers!! I'm fussy. I love burgers but if I find gristle I feel physically sick and it ruins it for me...This happens a lot but it didn't here. I had a bacon and cheese burger with no sauces (fussy) fries and we got potatoe skins. It was so delicious, I was full and still kept going. Awesome day out, with lovely food! Thanks, will be returning!

We were looking for a really great burger and we weren't disappointed. The burgers were gorgeous, so tasty, and the skin on fries accompanying were lovely too. If you like a bit of spice the jalapeño poppers were delicious, crispy and hot! The service was outstanding. Very friendly and helpful. We’d highly recommend and will definitely be back.

I tried a new place today located across from the NCP car park in Tamworth Town Centre. The burgers there are really good and affordable, only £10 for a burger and drink on weekdays. It's also a heartwarming restaurant that's definitely worth a try.

Came here for lunch as was in the area and saw the great reviews. Three of us had burgers and one chicken salad and then some ice cream & waffles after. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. The service was excellent too and we will be going back. Definitely recommend this place.

Staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean spacious and comfortable. There were a selection of burgers to choose from, might have been other choices but I only had eyes for the burgers. My burger was really really good. It was a generous patty, I had Smokey bacon and smokey cheese on it. The bun was really tasty, it reminded me of a bagel. My husband 'doubled up' and afterwards thought it was too much, but managed to eat it anyway. There was a big selection of drinks too,. We had wine, cider and a coffee. I'm pretty sure I saw a milkshake or two come out from the kitchen that looked good. I would recommend booking in advance if you know that you want to visit just so you're not disappointed if they are already full. I will return with the kids.

Best burger I’ve had in quite a while! Staff is super friendly and welcoming. I had a 2 Cents and as a Swiss guy used to Raclette cheese + pickles, it perfectly hit the spot ! Will be back for sure ;)

If you live in Tamworth and haven't been here - this is a MUST! If you're into burgers and don't live in Tamworth I'd say it is well worth the trip. As you can tell from the photos, the food is mouth watering, consistent and classic. The service is inpecible, and for a small cosy business I have no idea how the staff keep so friendly, kind and attentive to everyone in the restaurant. They must really love what they do. I tend not to give 5 stars on every area, but there was seriously nothing they could improve on from my 3 visits to far. The price is really good value as I've had far worse for far more cost. The decor is simple but pleasant, and location is maybe the nicest little lane in Tamworth Town. This and a few other places are what keep me living in the capital of ancient Mercia. Please support this place thr next time you fancy a real burger!

Visited this hidden restaurant for a birthday meal yesterday and it was ok. First off, I really liked the vibe there, the music was good and I liked the decor. The staff were really nice to be fair. Unfortunately they got half the orders wrong....

Amazing little cafe. Quality, home cooked, delicious food. Soooooo friendly, nothing was too much trouble, I was their last customer on their lunch opening hours, and I wasn't rushed, was made to feel really welcome, really attentive service. Such a cosy place, it's my new go to. You know when you see photos of food on menus and your meal comes and it looks half the size, or the burgers look half the height as advertised (think Mc Donald's....), well when my burger arrived, it was everything and more that I had seen advertised. BELIEVE THE HYPE!!! Go support a great local business!

Came in last night with my pal for a bite to eat. It was lovely, really nice. The waitress couldn't do enough for us. This rivals Original Patty Men in digbeth, that is the gold standard and this is far superior to any chain. I'd recommend to anyone. Will come back with the wife and kids.
