The King's Ditch in Tamworth

Small microbrewery in Tamworth. Good atmosphere, and a good amount of options in craft ales and ciders.

It's a lovely micropub with some great beers and a huge selection of cider. We tried a few different beers, but I particularly liked the Thornbridge Ice Cream Porter. There were a few Tamworth fans having a pint before the game, but it was a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. It's quite a compact venue, so we timed it right to get a seat. The toilets are upstairs, so that makes it not wheelchair-friendly.

This is a place where grumpy old men and women can go for a really excellent real ale. Authentic micro pub. Oh I went again.....

Lovely micro pub. No music or tv, just the chatter of the patrons. Sit down, order a drink, enjoy it. Simple as that

Great local micro pub. Fond memories of when it was my Dad's office. Seems surreal to see it repurposed but a much better use for it. Good selection of ales and ciders, friendly staff and regulars too. Worth popping in for a cheeky pint or two.

Enjoyed my time here fab choice of Still cider for me. Young lady serving was friendly and efficient. Landlord said bye as we left. Tamworth is an amazing place for a great night out...pity we don't live here.

Superb, had an excellent pint of Goffs White Knight before a wander to a couple of other Tamworth pubs but came back as it's the best one I tried today.. Cheers ***** 5 star.

Lovely little bar with cask ciders and drinks ,nice atmosphere , friendly staff , parking across the road,nice that you can see the barrels in the back room ,would recommend the moonshine cider 😉😊

Great local friendly micropub, four ales on tap with up to 16 ciders on tap too, so primarily a cider micropub. Enjoyed a lovely sweet Gwatkin Stoke Red cider. Very award winning as the pictures prove. Recommended if your in town, especially if you prefer a quieter pub, at half 4 on a Saturday it’s usually pretty quiet with a little bit of banter.

Fantastic place to go. At very short notice over Christmas, we called and requested an area for 7 including a baby and the gentleman accommodated us as quick as a flash. He was so polite and helpful. That was from a personal POV. From a drinking POV, he knew his stuff and we really enjoyed the chocolate Stouts. Thank you so much for being so kind to us and for having such a great place here

Drinks and range are great which you expect from a microbrewery, feels like a sitting in someones front room rather than a pub. There is an upstairs with bigger table for groups too.

Great micro pub in the heart of Tamworth, it’s one of my favourite places to drink. The beers are always spot on and they have a great selection. They normally have 4 Real Ales and 16 Ciders and also stock a great bottled larger for the non Ale or Cider drinkers plus many more drinks. Staff and locals are really friendly and welcoming to all that visit. It’s a dog friendly pub with a great atmosphere with no music. A great place to visit and you can bring your own food. Highly recommend you visit this micro pub to try it for yourself.

How can you change perfection. Love the place and the people.

Great novel bar. Great cider bar, however ales available. Screen to watch your drink being poured. Upstairs also available.

Weirdly super little pub. Like being in someone's living room. Wonderful beers, very friendly. Even better if they dimmed the lights a bit.

Certainly the best micro pub in the area. Friendly, unpretentious, welcoming establishment with the best selection of beers and ciders around. Quite simply, nowhere else comes close.

Not a place to hold private conversations, but a lovely little pub run by ale and cider enthusiasts for ale and cider initiates and enthusiasts. Good value too.

CAMRA award winning micro pub serving ale at its very best. Constantly changing selection of real ales and brewerys. Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff and owners. Will always let you sample a beer or cider to help with choice. Great scratchings, crisps and other nibbles. Our favourite place to enjoy a "coupla two three pints".

Great destination for real ale and even more so for cider drinkers. Sat upstairs in small room next to toilets as the customers downstairs spread out to fill as much space each as possible.

A wonderful micro brewery with a fantastic range of beers & ciders. Lots of regulars who are really friendly. Really quite old fashioned - you can play dominoes, chess and card games.

Love this place and visited many times. Staff are very friendly and there is always plenty of variety when choosing your drinks. They also have snacks, including very tasty pork pies. You can also order and eat in there.

Definitely the place for real ale lovers.
