Atmosphere is shocking, guests shouting over the dinner table drinking shots. Food was passable I guess but that's at best, over use of coriander to disguise lack of flavour in the food and check what you get as ingredients advertised are definitely not what you get (no king prawns) and waiters and staff would rather argue about lack of service and poor food than accept a complaint! Would not return !!

Thought we’d try the spice room for the first time after a late night Christmas shopping, food was delicious and service was brilliant, will now be our new regular Indian. Only thing I could say is to make the menu more accessible online - other than that 10/10

Normally, when I go the food is perfect but the most recent time I went they gave me the wrong food! But the nice waitress offered to give me a free change. One person in my familly does not like spice at all so he asked for any not spicy meals, when the meal came it was spicier than ever. 4/6 people got the meal they were expecting. Why the change?

Lush food served piping hot on warmed place. Friendly & efficient service. Tastefully decorated & well presented surroundings. Not over crowded.. & definitely good value for the money! Perfect !!

The staff are always polite, good service & nice atmosphere. I resently damage my new trousers when sitting on a chair in the garden there .I have to commend Louise the manager who promptly replied to my request to reimburse me for the damaged trousers Louise replaced the trousers promptly. Its nice to have good customer service

Lovely food but wrap up its so cold in there. It looses a star for coldness, someone warned me before i went so i did have warm clothes on thankfully

We were visiting Alcester and popped in to The Bear for lunch. It's a characterful building, the food was very good and reasonably priced and the service was exceptional. They also offer a seniors menu, which seemed good value, although we didn't order from it. Recommend.

Popped in on Sunday, with a group of friend, 7 of us. Had a latte and coffee & walnut cake. Both were delicious; amazing bit of cake, coffee was lush, great sized portion Cafe was full and had a great atmosphere to it. A gem on the highstreet
