The best restaurants in Etruria and Hanley Stoke-on-Trent West Midlands

Excellent food really enjoyed it the steak was really good I would recommend coming to this restraunt.

I’ve just had a week on meal prep. And what can I say, not only are the meals healthy and convenient, they are of restaurants quality. Topped off with extremely helpful and pleasant staff, it was a 10 out of 10 experience! Would highly recommend.

This area has some absolutely fantastic Indian restaurants & this is another one. Been wanting to come here for ages & finally so glad I did. The food was absolutely top notch & with it being South Indian, lots of different dishes. I had the Mutton Shorba, and I was able to snag a bit of Amritsari Fish & a bit of the Tandoori Chicken - all delicious, the spices and depth to the broth of the Shorba was superb - could genuinely drink it! Then the mains - good grief were they good. I had the Malabar Fish Curry, which was so good, however and it's no slight on that curry because I will happily eat that many times, after trying the Railway Lamb Curry & The Mirchi Mix Karahi it was 3rd, the gravy for them dishes were insanely good. The Naan's and Rice - all excellent and tasty. Took an age to try here, now I can't wait to try it all again! Definitely plan to try the entire menu going forward. Yum - plain & simple.

What an amazing restaurant, a hidden gem, the food is amazing and the staff are always great. Does take away too.

went to costa on the 30/12/24 but the drive thru was closed i waited 20mins to get service for my takeaway coffee

Food was lovely but what stood out most was the service from Summer. She made sure to check back with us and, when our little one said he wanted banana for dessert, Summer went out of her way to make up a plate of banana with caramel sauce for him and even wrote his name on the plate in icing sugar. Made our little one’s day. Thanks 👍🏻

Exactly what a pub should be like. Vast range of good beers (though maybe stocking even one non-alcoholic wine might be an idea). Friendly staff attractive decor, comfy seats, super beer, excellent music at a volume you can easily chat over and the nicest, cleanest toilets of any pub I've ever been in. Recommended. A gem. Added to review: Visited again. Just as good as I remember. Genuinely superb.

I was staying at the hotel and decided to eat at the hotel restaurant. I ordered Curry chicken and it wasn’t what I expected. The chicken is breaded and fried and the curry is sweet, no spice to it. Staff were friendly and attentive. Very quiet, only a few tables for a Saturday evening.

The manager was very unprofessional, took an age to be greeted, the (who I now know is) the manger came but was rude and abrupt, seemed very uptight, and dismissive. He told us there wasn’t any seats available and told us to wait for half an hour (many empty tables, not reserved as we ended up finding and seating ourselves), he also ignored us at the bar while he was serving one couple and walked away while there was a queue to only stand and wait for customers at the door (there wasn’t any). He pushed past us as we carried our food almost knocking it out of our hands. He was sweaty and unkempt in appearance and very unwelcoming by nature. Bar service was slow as only one person was serving at peak time whilst the manager was stood doing nothing leaning on the welcome desk. The food was lovely just a big shame about the manager who made our experience one we wouldn’t return for. No wonder they had space when every pub in the area was full. Who has employed this man to run a busy restaurant he was the rudest person and should not be front of house. I heard another table complaining about his lack of service also. Also note parking is a nightmare no spaces and had to put reg in at reception to avoid a fine for parking in the pubs own car park. Would absolutely not return. I’d recommend booking a nearby pub in advance.

Service was prompt and friendly and the food was nice. Would recommend for a quick, impromptu meal out. Shout out to Lucas M who was lovely!
