I was staying at the hotel and decided to eat at the hotel restaurant. I ordered Curry chicken and it wasn’t what I expected. The chicken is breaded and fried and the curry is sweet, no spice to it. Staff were friendly and attentive. Very quiet, only a few tables for a Saturday evening.

Delicious breakfast this morning,it is an unlimited breakfast so you can help yourself as much as you wish. They have a dedicated gluten free section with gluten free cornflakes and gluten free Museli. The cornflakes were delicious. Also they have loads of items from the pastry category,a wide selection of fruits, drinks(coffee, juice and water) and hot options.I had bacon and mushrooms,an apple,a banana, gluten free toast with jam and butter, two fruit medelies and cornflakes. The food was delicious especially the bacon.Hannah and the team were friendly. Also as a gluten free person I was really assured of what ingredients were in things it listed the allergens present so you don’t have to worry about asking staff whether the allergen is present or not. This is inside the doubletree by Hilton hotel in Stoke.

The food was decent but the service was extremely slow. When I complained, I was dismissed as if my opinion and money didn't matter. The restaurant and hotel are now off my list.

The food was really nice. We were guests at the hotel for the week, but didn’t go back to the restaurant after our fist experience. this was mainly due to the poor service. The staff could not be more friendly, but there did not seem to be enough staff or they were busy elsewhere in the hotel. When we sat down, around 75% of the tables were empty, but had the leftovers/dishes/glasses from previous guests still on the table. It took so long before the waitress came to our table, that we already made a conscious decision not to order starters or desserts. We also walked to the bar each time to order our drinks, because the waitress seemed to be so busy elsewhere. The hotel is great and the food in the restaurant was good also, but I really think they are missing a trick with lack of staff in the restaurant. We weren’t really able to relax and enjoy our evening meal out, because we all felt frustrated by the lack of service.

Food was good but with a little bit of effort could of been great. Steak was on the rare side of medium rare but within what you would expect. Chips were some of the best chips I have ever had. Pepper sauce could do with being a bit thicker and some of the whole pepper corns were hard. The table service could do with being better, my food was delivered and she legged it before I could ask for some vinegar. The plate could also do with warming more.

What a find! This place was quite good. The food was excellent. We had the burger, fish & chips, and Cajun pasta. For dessert we had the chocolate brownie with ice cream. The staff is very friendly and prompt, outstanding service throughout our dining experience. The food was surprisingly good. The burger was cooked to perfection. I asked to sub the fries for a salad, and no issues. The fish & chips were fantastic. Loved the chips, the perfect amount of crispy outside and fluffy inside. The Cajun pasta had just the right amount of spice. The dessert was outstanding. The brownie was super moist, we were blown away at how good it was. The wait staff was very accommodating, helpful, and friendly. They made sure we were well taken care of. We are staying in the hotel and highly recommend this place.

I have just had the misfortune to be offered the worst fries I have ever experienced. So awful that they cast their limp, greasy, foul smelling parlour over the rest of the meal. If a place can't get fries right and a place that purports to have the high standards needed to justify its prices let those out of the kitchen to reach my table, what other standards do they let slide? Should I also be worried about food higyne? What else lurks as yet undiscovered?

A convivial atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. The Brasserie is located off from reception. The food is tasty and a reasonable portion is served. I've taken the rating down because, in my opinion and based on the location, a number of items are priced quite high. These spur restaurants are generally rarely crowded and you have the option to eat in the bar area next door.

We usually go to the Nandos by Tesco Hanley but needed a halal restaurant as we had family visiting. We are new to the area so was abit hard to find, tucked right in next to cineworld. They have great large booths. We went at 5.30pm on a Friday and it wasn't busy. Service was great although a little hard to catch someone's eye. Food was perfect and portion sizes were good. Fast waiting time for food. Hot when came. Overall very nice and we would go again.

Have not been here for a few years we thought about giving it ago because I had a code just as bad if not worse unwelcoming they need a cook and more than anything they need some one in the organisation with some insight.
