We were made to feel very welcome and the food and service were excellent. A nice atmosphere and helpful staff. Altogether a very nice experience.

Arranged to meet a friend here as wanted to help local cafe. Nice to see it full but was full of cyclists who seemed to take over and dominate the cafe. We sat in the conservatory which was lovely until the cyclists kept coming in and out of the door selfishly leaving it open. Food was good, bacon and avocado on toast, eggs benedict plus 2 hot drinks. This came to £25, bit steep for breakfast, don't think I will use again.

Excellent service and great food on our first ever visit. The waiter was extremely friendly and helpful. Nice decor as well.

The lamb is amazing, not the cardboard cheap rubbish you usually get. Fish is fab too!

Pie, only pastry lid so lots of tasty filling, really crisp chips and good quality garden peas cooked perfectly. Everything arrived piping hot. Friendly attentive staff. We were all delighted with our lunch.

Slightly disappointed to find out we would have to wait an hour for our food even though we had booked. However the food was absolutely amazing as always and worth waiting for! Plus the drinks were great. The manager came over to tell us he had taken money off our bill completely unprompted which was a nice surprise. We love it here and will be back even more! Another fantastic visit, delicious food as always

Food was amazing…Mexican evening went to the Italian a while ago and that was amazing too….definitely recommend

Enjoyed early evening meal with friends .friendly staff and excellent meal . Highly recommended.

Went for Sunday lunch early evening, it was busy but unfortunately my meal of roast beef was just warm, we had ordered drinks I had a glass of Prosecco which was flat it had a slice of orange in it which I took out as this had made it taste awful. We also ordered a bottle of red wine which came after we had our meal. I did inform the waitress which her reply was we will take your comments on board we paid £85 for the meal and drinks for 2. We will not be returning even though we have been a few times in the past.

Wow! Went for lunch today. Beef was exceptional, mash, roasties and veg, gravy is lovely. Will definitely be back. Cannot fault it.

Really friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Plenty of choices of real ales and other drinks, beautiful outside seating with heated booths and a children's play area.

A belated birthday celebration for myself and my husband accompanied by our son and daughter who loved the decor. My husband and I were given a birthday prosecco which was very much appreciated and enjoyed. The food was all well presented and well cooked. We all enjoyed our meals but the highlight was the attentive and friendly staff, all with smiles on their faces

Having used the cafe next door and not being impressed, I decided to get my breakfast sandwich to takeaway before leaving for my journey home-so glad I did, what a breakfast it was!!! Being a pig I ordered the sandwich king special - what a sandwich! I could taste the difference in quality and was dead impressed. Took a homemade sausage roll back with me too, not that I could eat it until the evening but it gives Greggs a run for their money for sure. Back in the area in Nov so will be stopping off again to maybe try one of their lunch time specials.
