As always perfect meals & service.
4 of us dined for a birthday celebration, seated in the Orangery with lovely views.
I had the rump steak panini, it was tender & tasty. Great value at £11.50, cheaper than a burger in other restaurants!
The others enjoyed their meals, all presented & cooked perfectly.
Return visit planned again.
Fin (our waiter) was friendly & had a sense of humour which added to the great service he provided.
A polished, elegant Afternoon Tea experience. Welcoming and professional team serving quality produce with a few tasty surprises. All presented with style and panache.

Excellent Indian cuisine, beautifully prepared food, piping hot full of flavour and the chicken tikka madras was exceptional, rice cooked to perfection, naan bread stunning, if I could give 10 stars I would. Delivery was efficient and driver was a lovely person.
I’ve just had the most delicious Sunday roast. I’m vegetarian so opted for their nutless roast - full of wonderful seeds and other yummy deliciousness. I ate late for a Sunday (7.30pm) but the joint was jumping and no wonder the food is well cooked, plentiful and fresh - even that late I enjoyed fresh Yorkshire puddings, vegetables and roast potatoes that tasted fresh out of the oven. I’m only here for a few days but hope to get back here to eat again. The food is wonderful if my nut less roast with all the trimmings was anything to go by. I washed it all down with a large glass of their Transylvanian Pinot Noir - perfect! Service was impeccable, friendly and efficient. Highly recommend
Was in our narrow boat moored up so popped in for quick bit to eat, very clean and service was polite and friendly, and the food was lovely, definitely worth a visit, and dog friendly with a run around area to the side, plenty of parking…
Lovely walk , from our campsite , friendly staff, lovely meal , would definitely call in if your passing to visit local attractions such as colemere and ellesmere
Orderd a couple of sandwiches which took about half an hour to arrive ,wasn’t particularly busy
The bbq pulled beef sandwich was pulled beef drowned in a tangy sweet sugary bbq sauce from a bottle and warmed presumably in a microwave on small toasted bread with a salad garnish which had seen better days as the lettuce was going brown
Two drinks and two sandwiches £45 ..
I won’t be going back again
The food at this establishment is truly exceptional. The landlord is incredibly friendly, making me wish this charming pub was our local. It's a lovely old pub that is definitely worth a visit
