Bombay Sizzler in Shropshire

Excellent Indian cuisine, beautifully prepared food, piping hot full of flavour and the chicken tikka madras was exceptional, rice cooked to perfection, naan bread stunning, if I could give 10 stars I would. Delivery was efficient and driver was a lovely person.

Waited 2 hours 15 minutes for delivery, had to chase this up by phone when the driver arrived he was apologetic and explained they were short staffed that weekend & made a false promise of a free meal next time? Even after telling us they were short staffed and had a huge amount of delivery orders coming in? Yet they continued to advertise a "45 minute delivery" time for the remainder of that evening. Although my overall experience is negative, the food was quite good, once warmed up and the set meal for 2 is a very good price.

The food was nice, not amazing but we all enjoyed it. Between the pathia and sagwalla, I preferred the pathia. Portions were good but I felt the price was a bit too high in relation to the (good) quality of the food. If you can't decide between chippy or Indian, this place is an excellent choice!

First time ordering from here and I wasn’t disappointed, the food was amazing portions were more than enough I traveled 7 miles to get some food from here and I’ll continue to do so and nice surprise a complimentary dessert in the bag deffo recommending to others

Ordered a Take Away last night, a Lamb Madras & Pilau Rice with Popadoms. It was beautiful, nice and spicy. The lamb was cooked beautifully too. We ordered a large meal, just big enough for two people to share. Although if you are hungry I would order a portion each. The delivery driver had some trouble finding our address as we are on a new build estate, but called us and let us know, he was very lovely and apologetic. He needn’t be as we know it’s not on the maps yet. We would definitely order again. Thank you very much :)

Have had a few take aways from here most recent a Chicken Tikka Naga and Pilau rice, it was collected hot and tasted hot just the way l like well worth 5 stars.

Ordered the very hot naga curry and it actually had some spice unlike others in town. Onion bhaji weren't the best but curry made up for it.

Thought I,d try Bombay sizzler last night as I've not had a decent curry in Oswestry. I ordered a chicken massala, pilau rice, naan and a couple of starters, bombay potatoes and onion bhaji. The delivery was fast, the food piping hot, they sent poppadoms with raita, chutney etc free of charge. I have to say I will definitely be ordering again, it was delicious and tasted exactly as it should do. Coming from Manchester and travelling to the curry mile many many times (no judging) I can honestly say, it was as good a curry as I've ever eaten. Portion size was good too, there was plenty of food for 2 of us and we were both full after, big thumbs up to Bombay sizzler 👍

Really sorry to leave this review, we ordered a large takeaway (£100+) last night. The food was tasteless and dripping in water. The korma wasn’t a Korma, it tasted tomato based and definitely not coconut.

Wow what an experience the rogan josh we had tonight was a unique taste like no other absolutely outstanding! Loved our meal will definitely be ordering again soon .my compliments to the Bombay sizzler chef excellent meal perfect piping hot fast delivery
