Possibly the best curry I’ve ever had! Certainly the warmest welcome, and carefully balanced so as not to feel overwhelmed by it. Just really lovely staff, awesome ambiance and stunning food! I have no hesitation recommending this superb restaurant to anyone.

A Hidden Gem – But I Don't Want Too Many People to Know! I almost don’t want to share this place because it’s such a fantastic find, but it deserves a review! I’ve been visiting regularly for the past few months since I own a caravan nearby, and every time the food has been superb. The Sunday lunch is truly a highlight – cooked to perfection every time, with generous portions and a real home-cooked feel. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming, though I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting Jane in person, I can always count on her to book me a table and serve up delicious meals. It’s the kind of place you want to keep to yourself, but it’s too good not to recommend. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out – just don’t tell too many people Annie

Such a lovely pub - been a few times and it’s fantastic every time. The staff are so lovely, accommodating and friendly and the pub is in a beautiful setting overlooking the Shropshire hills. The food is excellent too - I tried their lamb and mint burger from the specials recently and it was so delicious - can’t wait to come again ❤️

Wonderful customer service and fabulous food. We ordered vegetable spring roles, prawn toast and satay chicken for starters and for mains the Chicken pad Thai and Beef in red wine sauce. All very good.

First impression? We arrived for our meal at 7pm... bit early I guess... and the place was virtually empty, usually never a good sign. However by 7.45 the place was rammed with people who obviously knew a good restaurant. I won't go on too much about the menu... it was full of things I'd never heard of. I started with a prawn cocktail. It was good but nothing out of the ordinary.... For main meal I chose the king-prawn delight.... and what a choice! It was delicious. Also, the staff here were brilliant... We will be back.

An excellent find at short notice. Made to feel welcome by Craig (Landlord) and the locals. Lots of dog walkers were in attendance and were able to dry wet things by one of the open fires. The pub and hotel were immacualte with parking to the rear. Lots of choice for food in the village and you can take food into the pub to eat which supports the pub and local buisnesses....great teamwork!!! Lots of ghost stories regarding frequent visitors to the Talbot from long ago...!!! Stayed on business but will return in Jan/ Feb for a non-work getaway... The breakfast layout was amazing as was the cooked breakfast provided by Craig. Well done to Craig (and the locals whom were most welcoming)!!!

Delicious food which in my opinion is very reasonably priced for the quality of ingredients. Coffee was perfect. The cafe setting and interior is gorgeous. and they are very welcoming to our young children. It’s fab to be able to go somewhere that the children will enjoy but is still a lovely, sophisticated place for the adults to appreciate!
