Food was very good, great portions and very tasty,but it felt a little cramped,and lacked atmosphere, also the waiters were a little pushy with the drinks,but absolutely couldn't fault the food.

First time visit, everything was amazing. Could not fault a thing. My husband and myself took our 3 boys. Staff were fantastic. Great price. Will be back very soon.

Lovely evening, food service etc was all excellent. Great recommendations from the menu from the waiter when I didn’t know what to order as the menu is extensive.

We use the restaurant now and then, really nice food and great staff. Tonight we are here because of a major power cut at home lol.. Never been disappointed here. Would definitely recommend. 👍

Disappointed in the quality of food, not what we expected. Bland taste and chicken over cooked, hard not succulent. The order was delivered within a reasonable time. We have had take away and dining in restaurant with the food being of good quality.

We had booked the restaurant based on TA reviews and were not disappointed. A very large menu to choose from, with regional and classic dishes available. The quality of the food was excellent as was the service. To top it all we were offered pieces of orange at the end of the meal - unexpected but very refreshing - as well as two complementary liqueurs. It would have been nicer to be offered a choice of liqueurs rather than just be given a brandy and a Bailey, but we accepted the same with thanks! All in all a very pleasant evening.

My wife and I dined here this evening with relatives who are local to Cleobury Mortimer. This restaurant was recommended by them and I am glad to say they were spot on. The staff were excellent and answered all our queries regarding different dishes and the food proved to be delicious. We will definitely eat here again and I would highly recommend this establishment to all.

An amazing restaurant and one of the best Indian meals I have had. Our waiter was a wealth of information about the menu and gladly recommended delicious meals for us to try. This is a must for anyone who enjoys Bangladeshi and Indian cuisine.

As visitors to the area, the choice of food places is pretty decent but we opted for the Lamp after reading rave reviews, and we weren’t left disappointed. The food was superb, the staff all made us feel very welcome and looked after. The price was about right as well. Next time we’re back in the area, we’ll visit again

We were playing golf in the area recently and had two excellent meals in the restaurant. The staff are very welcoming and very helpful with items on the menu. Would highly recommend this place for quality, cost and service.

Got takeaway from here, staff were really friendly and gave me a complimentary half pint of Kingfisher while I waited. Food was nice and hot, and they were very knowledgeable about gluten free

We visited as a group of 4 on my birthday towards the end of the opening hours. The staff were amazing and helped with menu choices and treated us like friends. The food was amazing and I can’t think of any curry which tasted better. Normally I get takeaways but I can see why tho solace is so popular.

I was driving through the area of Kidderminster and googled restaurants and came upon the lamp 🪔 deceived to go with friends and a truly came upon a miracle of curry’s took me back to when food was amazing and filled the hunger with great choices of dishes well worth heading to to taste the delights

Superb and quite probably THE best Indian restaurant we’ve visited. The food was prepared and presented perfectly - the meat phall was cooked to perfection. We will definitely make point of visiting again.

The food here is amazing I had the special South Indian garlic and chilli chicken which was amazing thanks to Mr Khan! The service is also outstanding and nothing was too much trouble. Staff were amazing with my 3 year old granddaughter who also absolutely loved her food.

Very enjoyable meal - tasty food and generous portions. Starters of king prawn puri and onion bhajis were excellent. Can't remember the names of the mains but they were also very tasty and the meat was good quality. We were all too full for sweets, but complementary drinks at the end went down very well! Thank you to Khan who, along with all the staff, made sure we had everything we needed - service was swift but not intrusive. Also good value!

Credit is definitely due here. I always look out for negatives when I eat out and I could not fault this place. Staff were friendly and always checking to see if we needed anything, the food was piping hot, full of flavour, the chicken jalfrezi was a favourite and recommended by staff. They were not wrong. I’m gutted I live far from this place, but it was worth the trip.

Decided to try The Lamp last night, our first visit & really pleased we did. After getting a warm friendly welcome we received excellent service from the waiter describing each dish as we decided on our choices. The food was delicious. We will certainly be making many more visits.

Our second visit tonight (11th April) but was lovely to be remembered by Khan and his Nephew. Service and food yet again was excellent. Tried something different to our usual and wasn’t disappointed. Nothing was too much trouble and would certainly recommend this gem of a place. Thank you to The Lamp.

Decided to eat at The Lamp today... 5 miles from where I live, but if I lived further away I would certainly make a journey to this restaurant.Excellent food as always, I have been many times, it is a favourite for me. The staff are very friendly and very attentive to ensure your needs are met. Importantly the food and service to me are top notch.Back in March/April/May, their takeaway service was exceptional, with many free meals for the NHS staff.All the correct procedures are in place to protect staff and customers in these troubled pandemic times.
