The best restaurants in Soho and Victoria Sandwell West Midlands

Grew up here in the 1990s, and was the family favourite. Decades later me and my brother frequent here when we get together and still the best. Just not local to us. But the curry is by far outstanding amazing flavour tasty delicious as is the other foods, chowmein, sides etc. Bit oily but can tell they make thier own sauce, very nice, just like we remember it and have had a few times over the past few years. Best by far by miles. My brother comes from down south always looking forward to a New City as do I.

Not nice at all.. went to get jalebi today and no wonder they were hidden behind the counter in a cardboard box! They were old and chewy with a horrible smell. I mean if you know your product isn't good enough to eat, don't sell it. Anyone can get food poisoning or worse! This needs to be addressed, but luckily I'll never buy from here again.

Nice & fresh breakfast options and friendly staff. They also have some lunch options.

Amazing food, great sized portions, have been many times and will be visiting again soon. Not tooo expensive, and a good variety on the menu, can easily recommend this place.

Bought some food from Anis's to open my fast. On opening the fast we noticed mould on the chicken pakora. When we returned and asked if the food was fresh we received a rude response from the serving member if staff. Rather than apologise he requested that 'we just by another batch as the food isn't exactly 2 years old'. I think he completely missed the point - this place obviously prides itself on selling old food. Good luck to anyone going there!

Ended up here on a random saturday for a friend's birthday and the dj had us on the floor before we had even hit the bar! The music was popping, the atmosphere was a nice vibe, there was trouble outside but inside was okay. Stayed till dj was packing up and ended the night playing a couple games of pool.

We had a civil wedding reception party for 50 guests. The venue went above and beyond to cater for us. The food was delicious and served with love and care. We had a vegetarian menu which was delicious. The set up and flower wall was great and we got lots of beautiful photos. I understand that there's new owners and must say we were very well looked after. I would recommend the venue for small parties. We loved the food so much that we got them to cater for 130 guests for a party at home a week later. They were very reasonable and even gave us the waiters to serve us at home. Brilliant food.

I recently visited Golu da dhaba and was impressed by the exceptional service from HARMAN SIDHU. She greeted me warmly, processed my order quickly, and offered great suggestions. Harman’s professionalism and positive attitude made my visit truly enjoyable, And the food was fresh and amazing.I'll be back soon!

I love there food and there service near disrespectful and always nice and kind

Used to have amazing pizzas however quality has dropped alot, last time ordered a pizza and there was barely any cheese on it and took longer than usual.

Today i ordered a steak burger with fries only for £1, and i also bought a pizza and the service was very good and i felt welcomed and i enjoyed the food and the food is very good for its price would definitely recommend

Look like food was cooked 25 years ago or found in a dumpster.

There was only 1 staff member working with about 10 orders done,overwehlmed, with orders left on the oven too much time wich included mine that was dry,burned underneath and unable to eat on the edges of the pizza. Management should organize better so these situations don't happen. Very disappointed with the meal!

Quality is 0 rating! They don’t even use grease paper to put there pizzas on yet there prices have gone extremely high! 20 years ago this was a good shop but now wouldn’t even think twice about going there! They will eventually loose all there customers as they never thought about customers!!!

Amritsari Kulcha was disappointing. It was more like naan. Every time I went to Birmingham I would eat at Golu da dhaba. But now receipe has changed no point going there.
