We had a civil wedding reception party for 50 guests. The venue went above and beyond to cater for us. The food was delicious and served with love and care. We had a vegetarian menu which was delicious. The set up and flower wall was great and we got lots of beautiful photos. I understand that there's new owners and must say we were very well looked after. I would recommend the venue for small parties. We loved the food so much that we got them to cater for 130 guests for a party at home a week later. They were very reasonable and even gave us the waiters to serve us at home. Brilliant food.

We just left this restaurant. Drinks were offered and served. eventually we ordered food. After an hour, second orders for drinks were offered and eventually delivered. 1 hour after arriving we were told our food was in the works, After 2 hours we still had not received any food so we departed.

Staff- very slow to take orders, asked for no fish on mixed grill as family has allergies at point of order staff member noted when order came to table fish all over the top. Cutlery - Dirty hubby was cleaning with tissue as when he told staff member he laughed it off saying water marks. Food - not up to standard lamb chops could not even cut and kebabs were not cooked properly chicken wings and other chicken pieces ok. We ordered chicken nuggets and chips for my niece they were both very over cooked. After starters we would have had mains but good quality very shocking especially for a first visit to restaurant and were looking to book for my sons 18th birthday. Price - over priced for what we actually had would have been better off going to our usual mixed grill place. Have used this place before when it was kings lounge and there was never a bad word to say about it. Definitely would not go again.

We ordered a Veggie Soya Mix Grill, Lamb Curry, Tarka Dhal, Pilau Rice and Naan. It was all absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend Kings Grill food. The complimentary milk shakes were lovely too 🥤🍽

Food was nice hot, starters was nice but the 4 mains we ordered was far too tomatoey, most of the base was paste , keema did not eat was discussed with, but all those who are looking for traditional punjabi Indian food will definitely be disappointed , service was on time ,the delivery man was polite , the keema meat tasted like frozen meat , we had this take away during lockdown

Average curry. Lack of flavour and spice, fish pakora good for the price. Could hear a microwave pinging and food came out far too quickly to have been cooked fresh to order. Staff okay, not the most friendly or welcoming and had to wait to be served in an empty bar. Much better places in the local area.

I organised a surprise birthday party for my dad's 60th. From the early discussions to literally paying the bill everything was smooth and easy to organise. The staff were very helpful, the party room (separate and discreet) from main restaurant was well decorated, spacious and perfect. The room itself could easily cater for 100 in my opinion so 40 people was not an issue at all. The prices were very reasonable, drinks were well priced and most importantly the food was delicious. If you enjoy an Indian mixed grill, then I'd urge you to make your way down here ASAP! The guest were particularly raving about the shish kebabs and fish pakora, delightfu! All in all it was a perfect evening, planned superbly by the management, great company, great food and drinks. Kings by name, certainly KINGS by nature. I have already been back since my last visit! 😁

Started with popadoms and aloo tiki chaat. The popadoms were good, the bottled chilli dip was ok, not great. Chaat was good, but not the best I’ve had and the tiki did taste a little of used oil. Soya Karahi was amazing. Really generous portion, well flavoured and the soya the best meat replacement I’ve tried (almost too much like chicken). My other half had a chicken Karahi (special request) and his was for some reason a bit salty. He much preferred mine. Masala fries were good and plentiful, steamed rice a little bit stodgy but fine and the rice fried with soy sauce was ok, but we definitely wouldn’t order that again. We will definitely return. Prices were reasonable and the standard generally above average.

The restaurant was extremely busy as there was much celebration as a large party was in full flow. The atmosphere was fab and I was made most welcome. I did not have to wait too long for a table and enjoyed one the best Curry's I have had the pleasure to devour. I was pleasantly surprised when the bill was tallied up, it was incredibly cheap!!!! You must visit this restaurant if you seek amazing Curry. My suggestion is to book a table!!!

We recently had our son’s 1st Birthday do at the restaurant in their function room. Honestly, the food, service, hospitality and overall experience was second to none! My husband and I, cannot recommend Indy and his team enough. They were simply amazing and our guests have continually complimented the food and the venue. Food was timely and anything we needed they had - from a cake knife, to even Bluetooth speakers and set up. Indy, we thank you and your team for putting on a lovely event and making our sons 1st birthday a memorable one. Until the next time for sure, best wishes and wish you continued success. Celebrated my Baby Shower within the private function room Dec '19. Would highly recommend this venue. The room was presented beautifully. Tables set with tablecloths, runners and a centrepiece. I had a party of 40adults and 10kids. All were very pleased with the service. Indi was very flexible with requests even last min changes to the menu selection the day before! Indi was great from start to finish. Very accommodating of any requests. We opted for buffet style catering. The starters and mains had a selection of veg/meat. The food was delicious and served hot. All my guests enjoyed the food. Tasted authentic punjabi style. Parking available for about 12 vehicles outside. Lovely decor throughout. Function room ideal size for a party upto 60people. Will definitely be booking future events with them.

Did a 40th birthday here recently, we had about 29 people, they catered for all our needs food was cooked freshly and brought out piping hot. We had 4 starters and 4 mains both meat and vegetarian. We couldn't be happier the food was tasty, especially the fish pakora and shish kebabs were the best i have tasted. The staff were really good and child friendly. The manager made sure nothing was left out and kept bringing more food, we also enjoyed the selection off drinks available on the bar. Overall very happy and will using this for future party events.

This place was excellent. Celebrated my husbands birthday here as I’ve been here before. I must say the food came out nice and hot and the service was fast and friendly. It was lovely and warm and every dish ordered was delicious and they served our cake with the dessert which was even better. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. Will also be coming back again. 😊

Went to this place a week ago as an off chance as we had heard it was good, there was nowhere to park as there was a private party so parked on the grass verge which was ok as it was a Sunday night. Decor was good, place was a little cold at first. Staff were friendly, got a table straight away. We ordered their large mixed grill, masal chips and naan bread, have to say the mixed grill was really good, masala chips were nice as they were crispy Overall for a first visit it was good, and will go again to try curries as was too full for anything afterwards.

Celebrated my husband's birthday on Sunday and booked the private function room. The room was really nice, the food was rather delicious and the service was great! We all had an absolutely fantastic time! Would definitely recommend! We will certainly be visiting again!

We visited as a family of 3 and ordered several dishes and they were delicious. Would recommend as they cater for all both traditional indian dishes and variety of english dishes. Definately worth a visit.

I have ordered from this place via uber eats and all I can say is SHOCKING!!! I ordered a LARGE mix grill and all I got was 5 HEAVILY burnt chicken wings, 2 chicken tikka pieces and 2 sheesh kebabs. Now I have been to many mix grill places and that is not what you call a LARGE mix grill.

I visited with some friends and can honestly say the food was amazing!! We had excellent and efficient service! Really recommend this place to eat...you’ll miss out if you don’t visit here!!

I have had the pleasure of dining at Kings Grill House on numerous occasions and I believe you will be hard pushed to find a better eatery in the locality. From the impressive décor, to the attentive staff to the fantastically prepared and cooked food, Kings Grill House never fails to deliver.

The food was amazing.. All the guests said it was really nice food, and a good selection of drinks.

Kings Grill hosted a function for my family recently and I have to say it surpassed my expectations. Not only was the venue really well appointed for the event but the staff and food were also fantastic. So many people commented on how good the food was and we loved the variety of drinks on offer. I highly recommend this venue for a party of up to 70 people and will definitely consider it for future functions. I’m quite critical of food but it was so good that I’ve since been back for more. My wife did my 30th surprise birthday party in the side room which was great. What can i say the service and the food was on point and could not fault it in anyway, the lamb curry was delicious would recommend this place. I was really impressed 10 out of 10

The food here was absolutely scrumptious. The fish pakoras were my personal fave, the starters and mains were really nice also. The inside of the restaurant has so many photo moments to be taken for us selfie people. The atmosphere inside was also really Welcoming and warm. We’ll definitely be visiting again.

Myself & the hubby came here on 11th May around 9.30pm. We ordered fish pakora & alloo tikki chaat, when we tasted it we were in awe! The taste was amazing! alloo tikki was lovely and soft the fish pakora crispy and soft just yum! Then we ordered lamb rogan josh and butter chicken with garlic naan and masala fries. Again the dishes were delicious! Even down to the fries! I would highly recommend Kings and we'll be back soon! Customer service was good too :)

We booked the function room under a set menu for 50 people (10 kids) for a 60th Birthday party. The food, service and host were excellent. This was a perfect way to celebrate and will definitely be back again soon.

Ordinary grill food as any other which has mushroomed all over. Service is too bad and have to wait long for the waiter to come. Food mediocre but not bad and nothing to great to talk about

We went for mothers day, table 6 plus 4 kids, the atmosphere was very pleasant and service prompt, the food from starters to desserts were delicious, we had a few drinks, including the manager who was very helpful to entertain the kids, thank you kings grill house for a wonderful mothers day lunch.

Organised my wife's birthday at Kings grill House and was so impressed about everything at this place. The owner was so friendly and accommodating , nothing was too much hassle ans pulled out all the stops. On the day itself, he organised a fantastic DJ style sound system at no extra charge and the whole area was beautifully and tastefully decorated.

Went to a party that was held in a function room towards the back. The food was delicious and tasted like proper food you make at home! The staff were very accommodating and I would definitely recommend if you are looking to throw a party.

I live very local to Kings. Having experienced all the local bars and grills around the West Midlands this buy far is the best grill house I have been to. The venue itself is beautiful and alot of thought and effort has gone into the surroundings of this venue. A beautiful lounge area accompanied by a piano and a fire place makes a great area to relax whilst staff are preparing your table. The food is divine, extremely tasteful and there are excellent options for both vegetarian/vegan an non veg consumers. The great thing about Kings is that it gives you the highest of quality at a very affordable price. It is infact cheaper than many grill bars i have attended which i found great knowing the quality of food that is served. The staff are very polite and welcoming, overall this is a great venue for both family and friends to get together. We recently held a function for a joint 16th and 18th birthday. The function hall at the back of the venue can comfortable seat 80 guests. The food was great and maintained the same quality as the a la carte menu available, Dalla who owns the restraunt is very friendly and welcoming, he will work with you to achieve the best function within your budget. Kings by far is the best restaraunt I have dined at locally for a number of years and it wont be long until more and more people hear about this great venue!! This is my 4th visit to the restaurant. Love the food and friendly staff. It's suitable for adult and kids. My kids loved the milkshakes. Husband and I enjoyed the veggie options and kids loved the mixed grills. We definitely booking a table for my sons birthday.

Great night out for a very large party over the festive period in the function room of restaurants. On site parking very adequate as we had large numbers arriving. Service was professional, prompt and personal. Both meat eaters and vegetarians were very satisfied and even a few special requests such as gluten catered for. Drinks selection is great including Mocktails for teetotalers. The owner organised a Dj and soundsystem which really hit the mark, making for a Very merry evening. Definitely be going back again!

Love the food, tasty food catering for vegetarians and non-vegtarians, loved the chilli paneer and veg chicken curry. My partner enjoyed the chicken curry and the drinks are affordable. Great place to eat with affordable prices and staff and service is excellent. Definitely will go again.

Went as a party of around 20 for an evening meal. The sizzling starters were tepid and not sizzling. The flavour of the kebabs was so bland we had to mix them with the chickpea curry which was tasty.

Visited on a weeknight as 2 couples. First visit since they started serving meat/alcohol again. The restaurant itself is nicely presented inside, and the staff were all great, but the food unfortunately left a bit to be desired.

Very cold radiators didn't work, dark and dangerous with several steps inside. Meat and veggie dishes looked indistinguishable with no variation or markings to distinguish between the dishes. The vegetarians in my group were not happy. Food was tasty but not enough salad supplied.

Went down with family, first time. I ordered 4 mains and a few starters. Food came out within a decent time and tasted really good. Chefs Speciality was awesome and made fresh daily so was a no brainer. all in all, great value, great atmosphere for family and friend and top food. Highly recommend

Food is great but management isn't. My bill had a chocolate cake and 2 apple juices added which we did not have. Prior to the bill issue being resolved we seen the manager shouting and being aggressive towards staff in front of us, very unprofessional. The service wasn't so good as they were under staffed and staff need to be trained properly as there is a lack of customer service. Guy behind the bar making the drinks was genuinely good but stressed and over worked.

This restaurant specialises in vegetarian dishes which are mocked up to resemble and taste like meat dishes. This may appeal to some people and, if you have committed carnivores in your friends list, this restaurant may appease them. It may also provide a change to a vegetarian diet.

I came with my family for what we hoped would be a delicious meal, upon entry we were approached by 2 members of staff and asked to be seated, there was a sign on the wall displaying cash only payments, we were not notified of this and when we queried it we were abruptly met with a statement which paid no relevance to what we were asking, we felt they felt offended that we even asked, matter of fact when we sat down the menu said cards accepted.. Food arrived very quickly, let's say within 10minutes, which made us question the freshness of the food.. We ordered several dishes, one was jingha masala main dish which was ultimately a bowl of salt, we also had the main course mixed grill, my partner noticed something that seemed to be plastic within the seekh kebab. When we queried it to the member of staff she felt the need to rub her fingers through the food and say It was 'grease' but clearly wasn't and she took it away and never did we get any sort of apology and there was no replacement offered. We requested ice within the jug of water, jug arrived with no ice. The actual restaurant was freezing and my partner and her sister had to leave the restaurant to get themselves a jacket. We are left very disappointed with this restaurant and we will be very reluctant to come back ever again.

I’m a meat eater, and I was definitely sceptical about eating at a vegetarian restaurant. However, I was so so surprised!!! The “chicken” is so believable that I honestly wouldn’t have known it wasn’t chicken.

Very simply the food is incredible. I had a dish with vegan prawns and if I hadn’t been in a 100% vegetarian restaurant I would have demanded to see the kitchen it was that close to the real thing! I’ll definitely be going back to try some more of their dishes.

talentlesss untrained overworked staff it was a full house with so many diners sat waiting for their meals to arrive all at once , the few staff that where on hand where running around like the road runner cartoon , not very appertising to find they where sweaty armpits smelling of odour and beads of sweat running from their faces very unhygenic

Went her with my son thinking it would be just the normal vegetable curries on offer. They actually have a wide range of soya vegan meat dishes, we tried chilli chicken, and lamb kebabs to start, then a chicken main, and a lamb one. They were the best vegan food I’ve had, cooked perfectly. Will be returning soon, only thing to improve is to add vegan desserts, they are all vegetarian at moment.

We initially visited kings lounge in November 2016 for a birthday meal and we were not disappointed. The food was great, the staff were good and all in all, was great and made us want to return.

I booked King's Lounge for a birthday party and we all had a great time. For a party of 24 we were treated very well. The food was served nice and hot and we had a slight wait but I didn't mind this, it allowed us to really make an evening of it and socialise. Not being rushed off the table or out of the restaurant was great.

This restaurant is awful, the food is disgusting, too salty, only soya or paneer dishes. Only takes cash, but didn't say until we went to pay the bill. Don't waste your money !!!!

This is a strictly vegetarian restaurant that also offers chicken similar meals and also prawn and lamb. We had dhal, 'chicken ' tikka masala and a 'prawn' curry. I wasn't expecting much but they were fab with a good chicken and prawn texture. Curry delicious and service was great. Special mention for the virgin mohjitos which were fab and not too much crushed ice, a big generous drink. Would be good if they had some Indian sweets!

My friend is a vegetarian, we have passed this restaurant many times and have not been in, but we thought we would give it a go. The decor is so perfect it is suitable for an evening meal with a loved one or suitable for a special occasion. There is so much choice on the menu. I am not a vegetarian, but I really enjoyed it. Dont get put off by the exterior. It is sure worth a visit

I visited this reastraunt and it seemed good. I enjoyed the food but the main reason which sealed the deal was a very young waiter which i believe goes by the name of mahir. Vegetarian for a whole day due to religious purposes, I thought id try Kings Lounge. One of few places where you can dine for a Vegan meal. Please note there is no meat, alcohol or food which has any trace of eggs. My wife an I selected two of the recommended main dishes. They did have a chilli symbol next to them. What I didn't expect was the amount of chilli that was in the dish. After my first spoon of the curry I could feel my stomach doing somersaults. Service was not the best! If you want Indian veg cuisine, there's plenty of variety out there

After passing by this place for two years I've finally got round to taking my wife and I for a curry. We're both vegan and the selection blew our minds. I opted for a Goan 'fish style' curry with pilau rice and garlic naan and my better half went in for a veg biriyani and coriander naan. We simultaneously said 'This tastes just like our curry in Goa!!' And it did, we actually sat there dining and reminiscing of our holiday in India which was an unexpected bonus. At least we've found a curry house within half a mile of our house that cooks top notch food which will save us a 12 hour trip to southern India lol. If you love Indian cuisine give it a try or if you're vegetarian or vegan give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

We had a group booking if 16 people and the manager offered us the set menu opion ... basically its appetizers..4 staters and 4 mains and a desserts; all of your choice. It also includes a rice dish and Raita and two selections of breads of your choice. There is a large variety of options to choose from. I recommend trying a little bit of everything. We had fish, chicken lamb style dishes as well as paneer and veg.Everything can out in a timely mannor and was nice ans hot. I can not fault the service. Everyone loved the food... and the mocktails went down a treat. Most definitely recommend this venue 100 top class

The Kings Lounge gives vegetarian Indian cuisine a twist you won't expect. Meat and fish dishes replicated with soya protein so good you won't be able to tell the difference. The sauces are mindblowingly good. Best curry I've ever eaten.
