The best restaurants in Tutbury and Outwoods East Staffordshire West Midlands

This was our first time at Bistro Max and we weren’t disappointed. They only open on a Friday even dining (breakfast & lunch) so you do need to book in advance. The atmosphere is lovely & quaint and the staff are very attentive and welcoming. The menu is small but we like that because you know it’s cooked fresh, we were kind of expecting small a la carte type portions, nope they we ample size. They specialise in fish so that we were having, food was prompt, we had cod with prawns and goan prawn/cod curry both were delicious and you could tell it was all fresh, not frozen rubbish here. Lovely place to take someone for a special occasion or just treat yourself.

Had a lovely time at this venue. Very well looked after from beginning to end. Have to give a bit of a shout out to Spencer! He really made an effort to make sure we enjoyed our time and went beyond that to ensure we had a good evening. Young lad showing a real care for his patrons goes a long way! Credit where credit is due.

Went for Tappas. Food was really poor. Luke warm and very processed. Chips were the worst I have ever been served. Quality and quantity really poor

Four of us had an absolutely superb meal here last Friday. All our mains were so delicious, as were the side dishes. We will definitely return!

Love this place. Great selection of ales. Friendly atmosphere. Unpretentious local hub of the community. I love perusing the menu on the board and discussing options with other punters. All part of the fun. Never strangers for long

I felt i needed to leave a review here. We attended as a family for a christmas celebration meal on Saturday (mid afternoon). The food and service were excellent and highly recommended. There were christmas quizzes and Santa hats for everyone on the table. The carvery’s here are always good but the Christmas Dinner was beyond our expectations. Well done everyone.

Good service with nice decor and friendly staff. Good choice on menu hot and cold and I had a window shop in the cake area. Had Welsh Rarebit and Eggs Benedict and delicious. One poached egg slightly hard but as a person who doesn't make them as know it is hard to time consistency still good.

Great staff and manager, took my parents this time and they want to go back. Always welcoming and good value. Nice guest ale this visit.

I did not like food but my friends enjoyed but also the chips were to crunchy but I know that people love crunchy chips but I like mine soft like McDonald’s
