New Dragon City in East Staffordshire

I did not like food but my friends enjoyed but also the chips were to crunchy but I know that people love crunchy chips but I like mine soft like McDonald’s

They are supersonic! I think it changed hands a couple of years ago, I have them probably once a month . Fantastic!

Been here today as I just moved into the Area. Amazing tasting food fast service today. Will be coming here again.

I really enjoyed the romantic setting, set by James Li!!!!!!!! The food was scrumptious and I find it a very trustworthy place to eat!

We thought we would give this place a try. Well apart from the foods arriving late, the chips were only just warm, the bean sprouts were a mass of jelly. In fact after just a few mouthfuls of the rest we had ordered we threw the food in the bin. Don’t waist your money, we only treat ourselves to a takeaway once a month, I will know next time I want a Chinese meal I will cook it myself and it won’t cost even half of what I spent on the rubbish we got last night.

We ate it because we were hungry. Truly awful food. Even the cat turned up his nose. We won't be back.

Very disappointing food. Ordered a number of dishes and all were without flavour and in the main undercooked. Yuk Sung had gone west, very undercooked and had no taste. Sweet and sour chicken balls were soggy and tasted like doughnuts that had been dropped in a bath for a couple of days. Finding a prawn in the House Special Fried Rice was like looking for Lord Lucan. Chips were cold, mushy and inedible. Guess they are just too busy churning out dross at busy periods.

The food was amazingly good And HK Style Chicken and salt and chill chips. The food was outstanding. It’s a Bit of a wait on Fridays and Saturdays.

To cut a very long and frustrating story short, we spent £45 on food and ordered it 2.5 hours before we wanted it, when the food arrived it was late, soggy and well below par. What it boils down to is rather than set people’s expectations and say as it’s Valentine’s Day, you may have to wait a bit longer. That never happened and what was supposed to be hot food cooked fresh, ended up up being a soggy bag of mess where the soup had leaked over everything in the bag, the crispy chicken wings and crispy prawns were soggy and for the food that was edible needed to be put in the microwave. What’s the point of having a takeaway of you have to microwave it. It’s a classic example of taking on too much and being completely clueless of being able to deliver it. The sad part was it was my daughter’s birthday and the meal was awful. Do yourself favour and go to another takeaway.

Disgusting food, vile staff, dont waste your money! used to be really nice food from here but ordered a delivery yesterday which was £60 for my mums birthday and it was horrendous most of it went in the bin, the starters were awful it was burnt black and rock hard, the mains were ok although the beef was like leather and you couldnt chew it, the yuk sung looked like animal intestines and was anemic in colour and tasted like it too. rang up to complain and they put the phone down on us twice and the lad on the phone said he would rather be in the pub getting drunk with his mates than dealing with us because apparently we just wanted the meal for free! left me no choice but to drive over there to make a complaint in person and try and get some of the money back (I took the food back aswel) the owner was vile to me shouting in my face and the silly till boy behind the counter thought it was funny. ended up having a £10 note thrown at me to make me leave! Really unprofessional god knows what they are serving in our food! please dont waste your money!

Recently had a takeaway and wanted ti share my experience. I had phoned my order and went to collect. Sign on the door stated 'no more than 2 people and to wear a mask'. I couldn't enter as there were already two customers inside (one not wearing a mask). The guy behind the Counter (who didn't wear his mask, even though the kitchen syaff were (asked me to come in and when I said that there are already two inside, he replied "oh, it's ok". I put my mask on and paid my money, then went back outside. While waiting outside, two other customers entered without masks. Won't be using this takeaway again for quite a while. Food was good.

After hearing that the Dragon City had changed hands we thought we would try it again. Best thing we did as the food was just awesome! Very tasty and we shall definitely order from again. 10/10

We've been customers of the old and new Dragon City for over thirty years Food is great especially the Special Fried Rice, in other 30 years we haven't found anywhere that does a better one. Staff are great too as they're rushed off their feet most of the time such is the popularity of the place.

Had 2 takeaways from here since moving into tge area. The first time, we had the food delivered, which did encur a long wait due to how busy they were. We decided to pick the food up the next time. Still a long wait but worth it! The food was delicious! Crispy beef, sezchuan beef, chow mein and salt and pepper chips. We'd tried another Chinese in hilton prior to trying here and it was rubbish in comparison. So glad we found a good one now! Ps. The girl who takes the telephone orders deserves a medal. She's run off her feet!

a well run Chinese takeaway, it does deliveries and serves excellent food which travels well keeping warm and fresh.
