Vine a ver el partido de Rugby Internacional, ayer, que se estaba mostrando en el bar que está separado bien de la sala, y arropado en un par de pintas del excelente Timothy Taylor The Landlord, que era £ 4. 50 la pinta. Entonces decidí pedir comida y fui por el filete Rump, que era uno de los filetes más agradables que he tomado. Se proporcionó un cuchillo de carne y los condimentos habituales. Estaba encantado con el filete y las patatas fritas (había una opción de puré en su lugar) y sin duda volveré a visitar pronto. Había pudines y entrantes disponibles que no probé. El bar era una típica zona de pub inglés y se llenaba lentamente después del partido. No experimenté el salón, pero a las 6 pm estaba lleno de familias disfrutando de actividades de Halloween. El personal era muy amable y acogedor. Tomé mi vaso vacío y me preguntaron si disfrutaba de mi comida y si era el filete cocinado a mi gusto, que era. Me sentí incluido y bienvenido. La zona del inodoro era un pub típico (no muy bien) y un secador de manos roto fue reemplazado por una toalla de papel. De lo contrario, un lugar acogedor, amable. Grandes filetes.

We held a Celebration of Life here for my Mother-in-Law and I honestly cant thank Jacqui and Tess (the barmaid - sorry if I have your name wrong) enough for making it such a lovely day for us all. The attention and the care they showed was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble. The buffet was extremely generous and fantastic value, with plenty of choice and was enjoyed by all who attended. Thank you so much to Jacqui and her team at The Festival. If I could leave you more stars then I would!

Excellent and delicious food with spice and authentic flavour that took us back to the Asian subcontinent. The Madurai Kalakki Omelette and Seeraga Samba Chicken Biryani (a weekend special) were dishes I have only tried here. Homely service with kind staff and friendly owners. I would recommend anyone wanting to indulge in Indian cuisine or want to reminisce their time in India to explore the diverse menu this restaurant offers.

Mister M's - excellent fish and chips, well cooked and large portions! I always enjoy the chats with Deano while the food is being freshly cooked. Family run for decades. Recommended!

Chips under-cooked, Scallops (you didn't say those are potato scallops), I thought it was fish - Also under-cooked. And the fish ... more buttered than fish. Terrible food. I requested scallops to be refunded, but surely should do the fish as well.

Chicken Cantonese style was all onion. Not much chicken. I’m not a fan of onion so it was a very small portion. The mushrooms were lovely but again so much onion. Pork chow mein was fine.

Picture below is supposed to be a chicken curry! More like a rice box😳 Upon opening my takeaway at home I was stumped to see only one item. I was missing the rice so I call and say there’s no rice. The young boy on the phone who served me originally said yes come back we will give you one ( no apology!) I returned to the shop to him say he put the rice and the sauce together to which I was confused as they never do this normally.. so he walks off and I can hear laughter from the kitchen as he’s gone to talk to them about my extra rice which I can only presume was about my confusion as to where the rice was… not very professional. I return home to see my curry had been squashed down on a box filled to the brim of rice! There was about 3 pieces of chicken and no sauce! Just shocking. Lastly, I later on see in my change I was given amungst £6 worth of 50p! I was given €1! Never used to be like this so not sure if they’ve changed hands but I definitely won’t be returning. Very disappointing

Food was OK but took almost 2 hours to arrive when it should have been 35-55 minutes. Had to email and call them to chase it up.

It is not an Indian restaurant anymore. It is an African restaurant. I didn't try any food there.

Great restaurant and great staff. However one employee in particular, Raj is very rude and needs a lesson in customer service. Multiple times he has been unprofessional now, not sure whether he just doesn’t like certain customers or hates all customers or maybe he’s having a bad year 🤷‍♂️. Might just go kfc next time
