The best restaurants serving Indian food in Cheylesmore Coventry West Midlands

Visited on a very busy Saturday evening- not a free table in the place. I will say, the service was outstanding and this is what made the evening for us. Such friendly waiting staff and we were made to feel so welcome! I will say we were disappointed by the food, having read such good reviews. But this could be because it was so busy! The fish pakora batter was too soft, not crispy at all, and the butter chicken was watery and tasteless. The lamb balti however, was very nice. I don’t think we’d be put off trying again and trying a few different dishes, but sad to say we weren’t blown away by the food at all. We would return for the service however.

First visit here as I was just passing and don’t usually come Daventry Road. A great spot for amazing food! Staff are lovely and have good energy about them. Prices are great! Would definitely visit again!

It is not an Indian restaurant anymore. It is an African restaurant. I didn't try any food there.
