Under new management, although the last management were superb.... make sure that you visit this hidden gem, especially in the summer. The garden is so quiet and relaxing. Perfect for kids and dog friendly.

Far from being a community pub it seems to be only interested in profit with little regard for local projects such as keeping our streetlights on despite promising that they would include it in their newsletter. You have a chance to help the your area yet you chose not to, despite saying that you would. If people support you in your endeavours, perhaps it would be forward thinking to give something back to the community as you have the chance of making a difference!

Our go to place for good simple food.

Absolute gem of a place! Just had the Burmese Chicken off the specials board & it was absolutely delightful. So much flavour and perfectly cooked! Credit to the chef!

Chose a dish off the specials board today - Burmese fried chicken with chilli, honey and soy sauce, rice and pickled cabbage. It was absolutely gorgeous. We eat at The Festival several times a month and have enjoyed every meal we've had here. Tasty food, excellent value for money and friendly staff.

I love this place, the staff are lovely, really down to earth, the prices are very reasonable. Some good offers on the menu. The food is good but it's served on cold plates so it does go cold very quickly, it's a shame because it really is nice food and a lovely pub.

We held our late fathers wake at The Festival and Jacqui and her staff were great. Very welcoming, friendly and attentive and the food was lovely. The lounge and beer garden is a nice size and we all had a very enjoyable afternoon. Highly recommended.

The food was piping hot and delicious. We got the goujons and mushrooms to start then rump steak (medium) - great deal 2 for £15 on the steak on a Wednesday. Staff also let us mix and match with the gammon. Wasn’t busy at all and the staff were very friendly. Would recommend.

First time eating there since new owners. Ate there regularly in past. Wont be eating there again. Had the beef sunday roast. If you like cold veg and a mini yorkie with lukewarm gravy, roast potatoes that are not roast but fried till black. Husband had surf and turf. Steak was ok but they need to change the oil as the rest of it was not nice. Staff are too busy talking to each other than paying attention to customers.

Very disappointed after ordering breakfast waiting for 45 minutes. We asked about it after 30 minutes and we're told by one of the younger girls that there was a backlog of breakfast orders and that it was on its way. We did not see anyone else waiting for food nor was anything food served to anyone else in the time. Waited another 15 minutes only to have a lady say that she could not find the order. Had to ask for a refund after being fed up of waiting and having to leave. I was going to let it be but after further thought, we were lied to. And that is unacceptable. Ruined our Sunday!

Been coming here for over 30yrs and even through various change of owners the food is always consistent and the atmosphere, albeit somewhat subdued at times, is always nice and relaxed. A good local pub and nice to see them adding more and more events to their calendar

As a walk leader for the Ramblers, I eat out at least twice a week anywhere in Warwickshire. Without doubt The Festival offers the best lunchtime menu of any pub I've eaten in over the last 12 months. Two main meals for £20 and a delicious selection of wines and top quality beers.

What a great night, listening to the band Outatime and also Dave James singing and playing the guitar too. It was a really enjoyable event and great to see so many people enjoying themselves. Thank you to all the staff in The Festival who are very friendly and welcoming. We look forward to next month's music night.

Food is lovely here all home made and great prices the place itself needs a refurb but the food and service is great!

We had a lovely time sitting with a beer in the sunny garden on Bank Holiday Sunday. We followed this with Sunday lunch which was delicious! The staff were friendly and welcoming, great atmosphere. Very busy but the staff were all over it. Well done team we will be back.

We had a lovely Easter Sunday lunch, plenty of choice on the menu. I had roast lamb seved with lovely fresh veg, my son had a nice steak and all the trimmings. Staff were very helpful and friendly , I think they ate doing a great job and with a bit of updating it will be a regular for lunch in thd future.

Not Been there for a very long time food was lovely and so was staff friendly very clean well worth the visit and they use proper tea pots!!!

It doesn't look much, but it beats all the big boys hands down. Food service all excellent. Clean tidy and relaxed atmosphere pub. A lot better than some of the big pub restaurants that I could name.

A good value lunch menu, £6.45 for staples like ham, egg, chips and peas (good quality ham), fish and chips, bangers and mash... friendly staff

My local pub, 6 minutes walk. It serves food, and inexpensive specials at 2 for £10. A small garden, adequate parking. And doombar on draught. Quiz night on Tuesday .

Great food and service as usual

Ate here on Sunday afternoon. Both the food and staff were lovely. Nice big beer garden with a large gazebo for shady drinking/dining. I haven't given 5 stars as I didn't use the facilities and they'd run out of roast dinners by 3:30pm. They did look delicious though! UPDATE: made it back again on a Sunday and had the roast dinner meal deal (roast & pud for £16). Tasty food and just the right amount.

lovely joint, my barman josh poured an excellent pint of guinness. i know his name was josh because he wrote his name in the guinness. i sat down on a sturdy and robust chair with a great view of the football. it was one of the best experiences i’ve had watching united lose. myself and a nice man called John Dalegend both enjoyed this experience of watching united lose, and i will be back for josh’s lovely, scrummy guinness again! nice chips as well. 10/10 on the vinegar scale.

Met friends for lunch and enjoyed it. Friendly staff and good service. Good beer offerings (eg Doom bar, Staropramen) at good prices. Very good value food which was home cooked and good portions.

Friendly staff, nice selection of beers. Although I didn't eat the food looked and smelled great. I have just been back and this time had some food. I was not disappointed will defo be eating there more often.

A group of us went for lunch today. Very friendly pub and good selection of lunchtime meals - not sure if they were for people over a certain age!? Scampi, chips and peas was delicious, especially tasty chips.

Really friendly and welcoming staff which was really nice as it was the first time we have ever been here. We had a drink and a lite bite, food was nice, I had a ham and tomato batch and I have to say it was loaded with about 4 thick hand carved slices of ham ...wow and some chips. My partner had a fish finger sandwich which he enjoyed....thanks for a pleasant experience.

Very nice staff, lovely place to visit

I was in Coventry overnight and wanted a meal. I tried the Festival. Managed to get there despite the sat nav in my car not understanding the road works plaguing the area. Had the Cod and chips. Very good indeed. Decent portion, good quality fish, and excellent batter, that remained crisp, and not greasy, recommended. I didn't try the proper beer because I was in my car. Just a bottle of zero alcohol. Friendly service.

Excellent food, friendly staff and a comfy beer garden.

Fantastic beer garden that is south-facing but sheltered from the sun by a large hedge and a gazebo. Uncovered seating as well for those who want to soak the sun. Everyone enjoyed their food. The staff are just the right level of friendly: kind and easy going without that fake chumminess you sometimes get a places that try to hard. Beer selection is pretty standard for a food-oriented pub, and seemed in good condition.

Went to a good friends wake here and they did a decent spread to be fair, plenty to choose from and a good choice of beers. The staff were very friendly as were the locals, it's the first time I'd been there!

The Festival hosted a wake for my grandsons passing. The staff were so friendly, accommodating with our requests, decorated the lounge and labelled food for allergies. The buffet was high quality, freshly made and plentiful. I highly recommend this venue.

Excellent freshly cooked food, good beer and drinks choices, excellent service with friendly staff. Food menu extensive catering for everyone. Don’t let the outside put you off. This is a great pub.

Lovely community pub. The food is delicious and the beer always well kept! The highlight, though, is the genuinely friendly atmosphere from the staff and other customers. Have visited regularly for the last couple of months and have always felt welcome. From the outside it looks like a typical suburban pub, but it is actually much better than that. A Large restaurant for families to eat, and a public bar that has a great atmosphere for drinkers and sports fans. Wish we lived a bit closer!

Food excellent, rather busy tonight and young children running around. Will definitely be going again, usually every couple of weeks.

I really like this place. Polite and friendly staff, comfortable interior, the quality of the food is surprisingly good, and there are two rooms, separating out the sportsy drinksy area from the foodsy gatheringy area that allows for two different vibes, depending on whether you want a proper local pub vibe, or a slightly more (but not imposingly) refined atmosphere.

Friendly atmosphere- accommodating bar staff and landlord! 3 well kept real ales, good social distancing measures in place. Clean and with hand hygiene stations near each door. Large car park too!
