Absolutely 💯 for service,and food 😋 everything was hot and the staff were really nice .

Went to the pub to watch the England, brilliant atmosphere and the service was quick. Had a burger off their Euros menu which was good to eat standing up. Great pub and looking forward to the new season.

We had steak, cooked just how we wanted it, good service. As good a steak as some more expensive places

The Vale is a pleasant, well-liked local public house. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Parking is good, there is plenty of space. If you want a meal at The Vale it would be a good idea to phone and book a table.

Could be a great place, probably better going in a couple though instead of a group I went with 10 others my food was forgotten then massively undercooked a refund was given upon complaint ordered dessert as was hungry this was also forgotten then rushed so was still cold out of our group only 4 enjoyed their meal

Good selection on the menu at a reasonable price. Food arrived hot and nicely presented. My Thai curry was good and tasty. My husbands mixed grill was excellent and well cooked. All in all reasonably price food and beer also very competitively priced.

I attended the karaoke night for the first time tonight and I had the best time! Super friendly staff, quick service, and wicked vibes all round!

New bar staff are terrible, would avoid... Now barred because of my "attitude". Matt barred me although he was not present untill 10pm due to other work commitments. Seems as I can't reply, in my option paying a compliment too a 19 year old isn't an issue, the guys sniffing cocaine and carrying knives in your venue is. So focus on that Video to follow

Friendly staff, lovely clean pub and toilets, great atmosphere. Fantastic roast dinners and desserts together with a great variety of beers and drinks. Just moved over a week ago as been coming to Coventry for over 8 years and getting to know the local pubs that do nice food too. Will be back again to try other things on the menu as well. Can see why it won Pub of the year last year too. Great first visit to this pub. 🙌👏👍

This place is brilliant, food is good, friendly staff, good service. Went there on the 23rd of December, listening to the wonderful voice of Kirsty Anne Music. The atmosphere was electric dancing and singing along all helped by The Vales brilliant manager who joins in and gets everyone dancing and enjoying themselves. We need more managers and pubs like The Vale, Coventry

We took the grand children for breakfast with Santa. They had hours of fun and games after talking to father Christmas, they all had the times of their lives. The staff were great and seemed to enjoy it as much as the kids did. We returned a little later on in the day for our lunch, the meal and service was exceptional, and reasonably priced. Looking forward to our next visit.

Very nice after the recent refit. Food was good value for money. Nice choice of beers. Toilets are much better now. Nice friendly atmosphere. Televisions in the lounge now to cover special sporting events. Best pub in the local area. The new landlords are great blokes.

Just had a small fish and chips for lunch. Small being the word !!! It was like a Batted fish finger. Not worth the money.

Staff were really stretched only 2 on trying to serve behind bar and tables they were lovely but over stretched food Was Diabolical tough fish !!! So would eat there again as heard the same thing said a few times now but nice to sit outside for a drink

Great food and service at s reasonable price

Great little place, I went in the bar, was excellent, few local guys in enjoying a beer and a game of pool. Staff were friendly and the Guinness was superb. Really enjoyed my visit. Will definitely pop in again when in the area.

We visited here for just simple fish and chips last Friday as we had done before and it was very good. However this time it was disappointing with the chips being hard in the middle and the fish being greasy. We should have advised the staff as they were excellent from a service perspective but we were had to be somewhere else . Tom

Good food, nice staff, very pleasant surroundings.

Locals well represented, they seem to struggle for staff at times leading to a wait for food but staff are apologetic, keep and good sense of humour and these things happen. Food is very cheap and good quality for the price with a varied menu.

Decent pub with good prices on all beers. They show all the football and sports too

Hi was very impressed with my food today very tasty good friendly service in a nice environment. We had the mini gammon egg chips and peas, followed by chocolate sponge and custard, my friend had apple tart and custard and a couple Of coffees would definitely recommend

Lovely people and friendly atmosphere, never tried the food as I had already eaten but it looked and smelled delicious.

Had been to university hospital so decided to call in the Vale for a meal arrived at about 3 50pm but couldn't order a meal until 4 00pm upon doing so no coffee machine broken no desserts because they hadn't been thawed so all in all rather disappointing

I haven't been here for years ,I just drop you grandson back to his father's near it, but I will say there is always a lot of cars parked there.
