The best restaurants in Edgbaston Birmingham West Midlands

Wonderful place to celebrate our Ruby Anniversary! All the staff made us feel so special, their friendliness and all the little extras. They are a lovely group of young people with enthusiasm and a real warmth and passion for what they do. The food was exquisite as usual and the setting just glorious. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Hands down the best pizza I’ve eaten in Birmingham and some amazing salads. Service is equally good but relaxed, entertaining and very friendly. Highly recommended. Edit: 2 years later we’re still very much regulars (no friends to our waistlines) and I’ve even at points gotten to see how they make the dough in advance. This place is simply fantastic; Paul and Claire are amazing owners and if you’ve had even a remotely different experience, then it’s likely an anomaly and they’ll sort it.l, talk to them and enjoy the ambience.

In my humble opinion, I think Colbeh does the best kebabs in the Birmingham region. Everything is finger licking good, I can’t get enough and I highly recommend to all. I have been coming here years now.

My bacon and egg sandwich was wonderful

Awful hotel and awful customer services We had to leave this hotel at 1am in the morning due to people shouting and people having sex parties. We left at 1am and informed customer services to be told no refund not even a penny when we hadn’t even used the facilities. We explained how bad our stay was and to be honest they really didn’t care. Would not advise anyone to go here.

We’ve used this takeaway for years and it’s always been really good but tonight’s the curry was completely different, bhajis dry, curries watery and tasteless. They must have completely changed the chef as entirely different to usual. Not good at all.

Really disappointing to see what has become of this place. What used to be so friendly and full of life now feels like a soulless cash grab. NFTs? Really? I don't understand what has happened over the past year or two. This café has squandered its once great community and become something unrecognisable. Sure, the board games are still there, and the food is serviceable. But compared to what it was, that's just not enough for me anymore.

I found it suitable for gathering and meeting with new friends and the restaurant is very clean and tidy

Awful service. We were the only table in the restaurant and waited over an hour for our food, we explained to the staff we had to leave but there was still no sense of urgency. When asking why there was such a wait they explained they had lots of takeaway orders to fulfil. How can they expect their restaurant to survive if they don’t prioritise diners over takeaway orders? Won’t be back.

I'm a regular customer here and mainly come here for the board game evenings on Monday evenings with a local social group. Customer service and food are the best, looking forward to returning here again on Monday evening as usual!!

Excellent food, great service, great ambiance and fantastic value for money. No hesitation to recommend this place. Group of six, we had different meals, all fresh and very tasty, excellent presentation.
