My bacon and egg sandwich was wonderful

Lazy, rude staff especially the lady behind the coffee machine. No one seats their customers or helps with baby chair when they are obviously handful. Staff at their city centre chain was much more friendly and kind. The next funny thing is nowadays they ask you to order, tip and pay through QR code before food is even served! Why would you tip anyone if they haven't even served you? Not to mention there was zero service from the moment you entered. Overall average food and very average coffee. One of the stingiest English breakfast we had. There's no need to come here if you're not nearby, or looking for something lovely and special.

Eliza was an absolute star. She made provisions do I could have time to eat lunch and still make it to work on time. Fantastic meal and service. Bless you Eliza

I’ve always loved visiting Boston Tea Party and have recommended it to many people over the years. That’s why I was genuinely shocked and disappointed by the behaviour of a staff member during my recent visit to this branch. From the moment I approached the till, I was met with an abrupt and rude attitude from a staff member named Elizah. I said I’d like a takeout, and she snapped back with a blunt, “What?” I paused and asked, “Excuse me?” She then explained that “some people aren’t happy paying for cups for hot drinks because they’re expensive, so I just want to make sure before you start asking for one and then complain.” I then realised her “What?” was actually her way of asking me what I wanted to order. I genuinely found that hysterical. I’ve never been spoken to like that when ordering food. If you’re working in a customer-facing role, there’s no reason you shouldn’t know how to communicate politely and professionally. I ordered an item that’s currently being advertised vastly by Boston, only to be told part of it was unavailable. That’s not a big issue—I’d have ordered something else. But instead, I was told she’d “make an exception and let me have it anyway”, as if I were doing something wrong just by asking. It was unnecessarily patronising. Another staff member came over and was similarly dismissive and cold. The overall energy and communication from the staff today were genuinely unpleasant. I must say, though, that the young boy working there was absolutely lovely, as he always is. I even told him directly (when I’d asked for her name) that I found Elizah very rude, and he kindly apologised on her behalf, which I appreciated. He’s a true credit to the brand and consistently provides warm, respectful service. I’m a fair person and I understand busy shifts (although it was not busy at this particular time) or the occasional mistake—but what I won’t tolerate is someone being outright rude. If you’re in a role where you’re speaking to people all day, there’s a basic standard of courtesy that should be met. After this experience, I won’t be returning. It’s such a shame because I’ve always spoken so highly of Boston Tea Party—but I can’t support a place where that kind of attitude is acceptable.

One of my favourite venues in Birmingham. Food is great, varied choice and reasonably priced. Coffee is amazing! Atmosphere was ideal for a good catch-up with a friend. Will definitely return soon

Olivia and Bobby, our waiter and barista, were super friendly, and the food was simply amazing. The homemade hash brown was delicious, and the butcher’s bap bun was absolutely incredible, definitely a standout. Great experience all around!

Lovely morning with a very nice breakfast . Bella our superb waitress was a little star . She was attentive and Boston Tea Party are so lucky to have her ⭐.

Great food some different selections on offer love the iced coffee with avocado and the new shawarma. Plenty of eating areas just wish toilets weren't upstairs here.

I love the BTP! The food is always reliably great and I love the wide range of options available, depending on how I’m feeling. Our server, Matilda, was lovely. Very smiley and pleasant. She helped us with our order and brought extra sauces. Thanks for another great visit! 😊

Always a good experience at Boston Tea Party. The food is always served warm and tastes freshly made, and the portions are just right. There’s a good variety on the menu without trying too hard, which makes it easy to find something you’re in the mood for. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, and the staff are friendly. It’s a great place to sit with a coffee or grab a relaxed bite to eat. Definitely one of the better options around.

I Love this place!!! I come here often as it is such a nice space with great food and exceptional service! The staff are lovely, very welcoming and always happy! I would definitely recommend Boston tea party if you’re looking to try a nice brunch spot with a cosy atmosphere

Battery died on phone so was in a flap, but staff were welcoming and understanding and allowed me to charge my phone. Couldn't resist the smell of the coffee and it was fab! I even got a piece of cake free! 🎂

Great location, seating outside or loads inside. Always amazing food? So delicious and im not vegetarian or vegan. Great place to meet friends for bruch, chill place for family to get together, to meet with babies and kids. Love this place! And literally order and pay from your table.

I'm a regular customer and can honestly say I've had every experience as being excellent. The staff and service are always helpful and with a smile. Ambience excellent. Been here two days in a row and not for the first time. Meet family and friends. Just had afternoon tea to celebrate my friend's birthday and we loved it. Excellent choices and excellent value. Highly recommend.

Delicious food and fantastic service

Came in impromptu with 12 of us, plus a brand new baby! The staff were great, got us all seated together, looked after us, and our many dietary requirements! I even got a bonus bit of carrot cake! Good work team!

I regularly eat here, the food is absolutely beautiful, and the service is wonderful. I would in-particularly like to mention Bobby, he provided excellent service as well as being bubbly and friendly! I would 110% recommend. Not only do they give good service, but they also cater for everybody, including Vegans!!!! Love love love this place!

Me and my Mom went and we first got a takeaway coffee. They do proper coffee cups so they aren't one use but reusable which I love. And the cup is really nice ans you can choose whatever colour you want. We then went back for breakfast. The pancakes were lovely and sweet. And my Mom enjoyed her breakfast sandwich. Sadly we forgot to take picture of the food. The staff were polite and friendly.

Nice quiet place surrounded by trees, very tranquil in the summer for morning alfresco breakfast. Coffee was exceptional too!

Great place. Couldn't work out if it was me, the lady was super friendly woth guy in front of me, and kind of eased off when I was served Interesting.

We were heading to a convention in the area and stopped here for breakfast. We were a little early for opening but the lady was kind enough to let us sit and wait inside. It was good that we went in when quiet as we got to explore the art on the walls which is very eclectic and makes for good viewing. There's plenty of space inside and out. Parking is found on the side road or in the back but parking in the back is limited. Food you could order through the QR code on the tables or at the counter and we did both as some of the party weren't comfortable with technology like that and they also wanted to adjust the order. There was a little delay to my food but all due respect to our server, who came to advise that there was a small error in preparing it and it would take just a little longer. The update was really appreciated. Food came and it was tasty! Drinks were nice too. All in all a good place to visit but for a cafe I did find the prices a little expensive for what you get. But the service and food can't be knocked. Enjoy your visit here.

Reserved a big space for a large mother and baby group meet up. It was our first time here. The staff were very friendly, attentive and accommodating. It's very baby friendly. Had a couple of hot chocolates. Others in the group ordered food and said it was delicious. A relaxed atmosphere that's baby friendly. We'll definitely be coming back and ordering food next time!!

Hadn't planned to pop in but walked the dogs around the block whilst waiting for someone to have an eye appointment and stumbled across this place. We were greeted by lovely staff who also welcomed the dogs inside. Food was delicious, good value and arrived promptly. We had a sausage muffin which came with cheese, egg and a hash brown and was amazing. The dogs even got a little treat and some water too, which was super kind. I could have happily spent the rest of the afternoon there. 🤩

I came in with my daughter and I chose the right time !! It was steady but quiet. I fed us both and got some work done. Will definitely return. And the coffee cake was amazing !! Emma was helpful and whoever made the coffee it was delicious.

I had the pleasure of visiting Boston Tea Party for brunch last weekend, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! The cozy and welcoming atmosphere made it the perfect spot to unwind. The food was outstanding — beautifully presented and full of flavor. I particularly loved the Halloumi and Corn Fritter Bowl What truly stood out, though, was the impeccable service. Our server, Rushda, was amazing — warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had a great time. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensured everything was perfect. Her friendly demeanor and professionalism were the cherry on top of an already wonderful visit. Highly recommend Boston Tea Party for anyone looking for a memorable brunch experience. I’ll definitely be back soon!

I threw a baby shower for my best friend. 10 of us for afternoon tea and I couldn't fault the staff at all. So welcoming and adhering to our needs. Food and drinks were lovely. Assistant manager was looking after us (apologies I can't remember the name of the lady).

As always the food and service were great. Chorizo Hash is a great addition to the menu. All of the staff were very friendly! Jacob, Pete and Eliza were very attentive.

First experience here and took the old man for father's day breakkie with the rest of the gang. It was very easy to order both using QR or menu . I had a boss breakfast that was so tasty, chef did well with all of it! hot drinks(chai) was heavenly and better than anything I'd tasted in my 20 yrs in london so far. Iced lemon and watermelon smoothies were perfect for sweetness and very refreshing. The price was quite generous too, it was definitely good value and the staff were fast with delivery and checks to ensure we were all OK 👍

This is a relatively chill place for a breakfast or a meal. They have a good variety of meals available. The coffee is really nice and the service is good. I've never been a fan of QR code menus but this is one of the easiest to use.

As we have arrived, it took 5-7 minutes to get welcomed and the person was not the nicest. We then asked for lattes and they were overflowing. My food was fairly dry, and we had to ask for water 3 times before receiving it. The atmosphere is great though just a fairly poor service.

Attended here in December for a breakfast with my work colleague. Amazing food, came out on time and the service from Tia was brilliant! Will definitely return :)
