Went for bottomless brunch omg it was amazing. Very attentive waitress kept the drinks flowing and the food was lovely.

Came here for bottomless brunch with my parents and boyfriend, had brilliant service and was nice and quiet so relaxed atmosphere - been here for the quiz multiple times throughout my degree and had a great time, with thoroughly reckoned (if you book a table)!

Honestly a 10/10 brunch, drinks amazing and food was great, but nothing holds a candle to ben. Big ben made sure we had drinks in our hands, and smiles on our faces. Give this man a raise I'm not even joking, angel. Wish nothing but good things and big tips for this man xx

20 of us came for brunch and the staff were amazing provided a great service, specifically Kate, Cara and Gaz who went above and beyond bringing me my own cocktail when I wanted something different from the party! Will definitely be coming back

Service has been amazing, food was superb and the drinks just kept coming! No long waits or having to flag anyone down either. By far the best bottomless brunch we have had compared to many in the city centre we have tried previously, especially for the price! Great atmosphere especially when the football is on! Popped into the Bristol Pear for the first time and was very pleasantly surprised! Courtney served us and was proficient as well as welcoming. We enjoyed a quick drink in the pub’s lovely atmosphere and will definitely go again when we can.

Amazing bottomless brunch 6 of us came here for brunch on a Wednesday after and loved it. Food was lush, the selection of drinks was so good; and the service top notch. The staff on shift were Danni, Laura, Cara, Caitlin and Aiden. So friendly and patient whilst we were choosing food and waiting for everyone to arrive. Incredible value….. 5 stars

I am soon to be a Doctor in Astrophysics, and I can confirm that scientifically and mathematically, the optimal shape for a pizza, is a cone. Highly recommend the Pear for good drink and good food, and the quiz is great craic every week.

We came for a lovely quiz night and couple of drinks and were served by the lovely James, he was super accommodating and so friendly! He had great knowledge of the drinks and suggested some good combos, was so professional. Pascal also helped us out once we’d gone downstairs and was so lovely, made our experience so nice when my friend visited me at uni! Will definitely visit again :)))

Usually love going to the Bristol Pear, but had a bad experience. They had no bottles of wine, prosecco or anything, and seemed annoyed at us for wanting to order those things. We were celebrating so were disappointed, yet not one person apologised and also didn’t see a single person smile. We’d booked for dinner and were then told we couldn’t order anything with cheese on. Obviously low on stock which I can imagine wasn’t at the fault of those working, but still seemed very hostile, like we had done something wrong. Food was good, but didn’t stay for anymore drinks

Food was under expectation. The burger looked like it was from a kids meal. The chicken wings were inedible. The dessert was 3 cookies stacked on top of each other stuck in the microwave with a little caramel sauce. Won’t be rushing back.

Back open after lockdown, easy route around the pub to get served, safe environment for those in a panic to not venture out, good staff on hand to help, great food with quick service, a pleasure to visit again and also watch live football.

I went for breakfast and they had ran out of almost everything, and then when my order arrived (mushroom and egg bagel) it was tiny - there was only one small mushroom! However, it is pretty good for drinks.

Saturday lunchtime with Football on the TV, excellent service at the bar with food recommendations for the fries, great menu, Big Breakfast good portions, tasty desserts and very quick service, looking forward to next visit.

On a World Cup Rugby morning this place was packed and not enough staff, the ones on were kept very busy and the food (all day breakfast looked good), great atmosphere and nice place for a pint or two.

The first round of my food came out wrong, food quality was low. After I brought this to their attention, they went out of their to make me happy and the new food was 10/10 quality which is what they usually produce. Staff were extremely apologetic yet kept me in the loop with orders and my meal. Service was quick. Definitely coming back!

The food was really good and reasonably priced, The service was excellent (I suspect provided by the local student population?). I'll definitely visit again when I next visit my son who is doing a Ph.D. at Birmingham University. Range of beers was good.

Drinks are varied and cheap, has lots of seats, great decor and lighting, good screens, pool tables, friendly staff, tasty (comfort) food and good music. Love this place

También los cócteles que probamos allí fueron geniales.Definitivamente iría allí de nuevo.

The drinks here are pretty good with lots available but the food is typical pub food. The dessert are quite small, especially for the price. Average.

Second visit on drop off student day two, with the retail park nearby, liquid refreshment is the best place for me, good atmosphere for a lunch tie, nice staff and good choice of alcohol, well worth a pint.

Good surroundings; good atmosphere; friendly, helpful staff and great value food. Typical British pub fayre was served quickly and efficiently when four of us came one weekday afternoon. It's certainly not gourmet food but was filling and cheap - especially with their "More" loyalty card. A wide variety of drinks including a few "real" ales, lager and cider. Good (to me) piped music makes this place a cut above average for the area. Will be back.

I started coming here recently for light bites. The food is really good for the price with some interesting menu Items, honestly all really delicious, especially the Angry Fries! There is a kind of American Diner theme to the menu with lots of cheese, hot sauce and breakfast items available all day. There is also a clearly marked vegetarian section which is a plus. The drinks selection is also really good, especially if you like ale; lots of choice.

I am all for giving places another chance just incase they were having an 'off' day but I've now been five times and I think it's safe to say, I will not be returning.

Después de un largo paseo el domingo por la mañana nos apetecía un buen desayuno, pero también era domingo de Pascua sin embargo el Bristol pera aunque en muchos otros lugares estaban cerrados inSelly roble era afortunadamente abierto. No esperaba mucho, ya que no había estado allí por unos 10 años, donde me iría a una copa y ahora de nuevo. Me sorprendió la decoración acogedora, pero elegante y la variedad de comida era genial! Ambos tuvimos un desayuno durante todo el día, que consistía en: 2 salchichas gordas, dos huevos, tocino, 2 2 croquetas de patata, hongos, tostadas y frijoles y todo por un billete! Sin duda volveré para los panqueques y tocino la próxima vez.

Didn’t take. Picture but enjoyed the dirty fries (chilli con carne) they were so tasty. Loved the mango cider and the pitchers of cocktails weren’t too bad, although if you took the ice out you would probably only half 1/2 a jug of drink!! Nice, busy mix of people coming and going. I have been here twice with friends and girlfriend. Both times I've ordered food and drink and both times disappointed.

Not generally my first choice of food a burger, however was recommended to them and was not disappointed! Fresh, juicy, tasty and inexpensive. Really nice laid back place. All ages and great selection of dishes to suit all. Casual and good for groups as well as couples and friends out for a catch up. Great place. Will be back.

En mysig pub med förvånansvärt god mat. Det finns flera vegetariska och veganska alternativ. Dom har varje månad 5 nya real ales vilket är roligt. Det är ett väldigt populärt ställe som ligger i ett studentområde, så det är mycket folk alla kvällar i veckan, och på helgkvällar får man vara beredd på att vänta lite på maten, men är man i god tid så är det inget problem.
