We had a wonderful lunch at Fiesta Del Asado — the food was absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding. We were looked after by Soha, who has served us before and is always so warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. She really made us feel special. We were celebrating a birthday, and the team went above and beyond with a lovely surprise of complimentary prosecco and a beautifully presented birthday dessert. Thank you Fiesta Del Asado, and a heartfelt thank you to Soha — you’re a star! We can’t wait to come back!

So, I owe my wife 2 anniversary meals at a posh or fine dining establishment and finally after being recommended by my youngest brother we thought we’d try this Argentinian 🇦🇷 restaurant. We were pleased to find parking on the premises at the front and they have space at the back too. We were greeted by a very friendly waiter who offered us any seat we wanted as we visited at the quiet lunch period as I had the day off from work too. There were a few other customers but it was nice to have a whole section to ourselves. After taking our seats - the waiter gave us the menu which also had a nice halal section and we were assured that the meat was cooked on a separate section to other meats. We went with the waiters recommendations on our main meals and we were very pleased with what we went for. We didn’t opt for any starters that day as the desserts sounded very appetising. My wife also went for a mocktails called Bonita which was refreshing and flavourful but a tad too much ice and I just went for a pint of Pepsi. And once the dessert came to the table brought by the chef, it tasted as well as it looked. Pricing of the food wasn’t too bad taking location and type of establishment into consideration - and even though I’m not a fan of discretionary service charges - the staff definitely deserved it today . The atmosphere and deco was also refreshing yet ambient.

Having been visiting Fiesta for many years, we booked a table for the first time in a while. Atmosphere & service were as usual, to a decent standard. A little slow at times with bringing wine to the table. However I'm genuinely disappointed in the decline to the food experience. I think the best way to describe it, is that it's has become commercialised & lost the quality. Starters were calamari & chorizo sausage, very bland, lacking flavour & the calamari seems poor quality. The mains, we all ordered steak but the actual quality of the steaks is poor, tough, chewy with lots of gristle running through all the cuts. Cooked as requested (rare or medium rare) but burnt in areas on the outside. Tomato & onion salad was just that, used to be delicious with gorgeous tomatoes but now lacks any seasoning, quality or flavour. Steak sauces are poor, malbec sauce was thick & flavourless, peppercorn sauce very bland. Chips were good, but the potato to accompany the steaks was hard & again bland. Desserts - churros were a good sized portion but hard & again clearly bulk bought. Completely lost its authenticity & what made the food & experience so special. Kids menu is now very poor, so limited we ordered off the adults menu for both children.

We had a great Sunday roast there! Big portions of food. The Sangria is the biggest size I have ever had! The waitress Soha was very nice and friendly! Will definitely visit again!

Came for my wife’s birthday was very well looked after by Soha and staff. Was given a complimentary mocktail and dessert for the occasion which was very much appreciated. Food was beautiful as always and would 100% recommend anyone wanting to try here! Soha was very attentive and was always checking in on us made us feel very welcome! Brilliant!

Food and service was amazing. My only complaint was there was no parking available as the restaurant has a very small car park. Our designated driver waited 45min for someone to leave before he could park the car.

Lovely birthday meal - our server Soha was great and tended to all our requests, even singing happy birthday to a member of our party. As someone who usually isn’t fond of red meat, the food was very nice and there is a great variety of sides and starters too. Also - a stunning Picante Margarita!!! 🌶️ 🍋‍🟩

Excellent value Sunday lunch. We shared the Chicken and Beef fillet tail. The surcharge on the beef was well worth it. Some chunk for the money compared to most. Good cooking throughout. Gravy was well tasty and the chimmichurri though difficult to spell, was a top tier condement. Good service. Great live band! Will definitely be back.

6 years ago this was my go to place for a lovely meal. Went 2 years ago and left diassapointed. Went again recently and I'd say it's got worse. Over priced / low quality steak. Staff were friendly an attentive but doesn't quite make up for the quality of the food.

Have been to Fiesta del Asado many times and the food is always superb. Went on Saturday 22nd March for my birthday and as I'd signed up to the loyalty card I got a £25 voucher and complimentary prosecco on arrival. Our food was superb unfortunately the service was average. Had to ask for condiments, wine was not poured at the table, and had to get our servers attention for additional drinks. Despite this I would definitely recommend it and go back again. It's far superior to many other mainstream steak restaurants and the prices are very competitive.

Came for my 30th birthday and felt completely spoiled by the excellent personalised service from Alanis. I felt she understood this experience was a rarity for us and was able to make specific and knowledgeable recommendations on the food and wine which were both spot on. I felt on safe hands from the moment of arrival until we left and i feel truly grateful for the fanatic quality of food and drink but the personalised service really made the experience complete.

I had left this place a 5 star review 1 year ago, we returned with some friends for dinner on the 15th feb, we had booked a number of weeks before as its always busy, we arrived 15 minutes early and were shown to our table, they clearly did not have anywhere near the number of staff needed to serve the amount on customers present, after around 20 minutes our waiter took our drinks order, we also said we aere ready to order food as we had been there for 20 mins so plenty of time to look at the menu, our starters arrived before we even got out first drink, by now we had been in the restaurant for 45 minutes and were still waiting for a drink !, they had 1 barman on which is just crazy, when our mains arrived my friend had ordered the £80 portahouse rare! the fillet part was well done, we asked to speak to the manager at this point and he deducted £50 for the steak, the rest of the food was great, we also recieved a free bottle of wine after a lengthy conversation with the manager, i am leaving this review more for the owner/manager as its a real shame the team that were present worked hard but there clearly was not enough of them.

Poor service. Good food. Have been twice now, once when there was only 4 other tables and once when it was packed, on both occasions it was difficult to get the attention of a waiter, on the first occasion I had to go find them as they were hidding around a corner chatting. The quality of the waiting doesn't match the prices charged either when waiters lean over you to pass another person's plate. The staff at the parent restaurant Lasan are leagues ahead. The staff fo seem to be highly trained in avoiding eye contact or waiving when you do want them with heads down walking straight passed. If you're not assertive you'll wait a long time.

Absolutely incredible. Was recommended as being of the best places for steak and it was exactly right. Nice dress up place, lovely staff, absolutely incredible food that you can see being cooked. Visited for a special birthday celebration - as ever the fillet steak was succulent and savoury.Some of the party had the flat iron chicken which also went down well.Armosphere was friendly.Just let down by slow laxadasical service.

Dined at Fiesta Del Asado Edgbaston Wednesday the 5th January 2025; I was with my wife who knows how to cook so I was hoping things would be ok. We were served by the gentlemen named HOI who was special but it has to be said all the staff were lovely. I need not have worried; The food was special; very special. If you have not been there; I recommend You go there. If you like nice food and service; you will Enjoy. Tom Hayes

Didn’t go fives as I felt it was costly for the what we had £500 for 7 that’s starter main and desert for almost all. For was very good but not exceptional. Parking is very limited so plan ahead. Service was ok but felt it lacked sincerity. Our table was too close to the door so was chilly every time the door opened. Needs a secondary door.

Food was amazing service is spot on staff friendly and so polite First time coming to this one here we normally go to another one This better as bigger more space Only thing I have to say is not lot parking here and no disability parking either so if all the parking was taking being disabled I can’t walk far So that only be the down side things But other than that nothing to say that’s bad it’s we really enjoyed ourselves and we definitely will be returning again 😁

Wow! My first, and definitely not last visit to this fabulous restaurant! As a steak lover I decided to try it out. This place blows all other steak places out of the water. I enjoyed the coca bread with tomatoes and olive tapenade, and a delicious rib eye steak!

staff were really nice and friendly, and the restaurant was really clean and well presented. unfortunately our party weren’t too keen on the food. my partner and a few others had calamari as a starter, all said it was rubbery. i ordered broccoli and chips as my meal, all i could taste was garlic. i had maybe a quarter of it before i couldn’t eat anymore. those who ordered meat said it was really chewy and hard to eat. although for 8 people we found it a decent price 👍

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but the experience we had here was so appalling that I felt I had to share it. Let me start with the one positive: our waiter. He was absolutely fantastic. Polite, attentive, and professional. Unfortunately, his efforts were completely overshadowed by the incompetence and complete lack of care from the management. While we were dining, a customer at a nearby table began choking. Instead of rushing to help, the two managers were standing at the till, giggling and chatting away while glued to their phones. One of our guests actually had to stand up and assist the choking person before anyone from the staff took action. To make matters worse, the two managers continued to talk among themselves at the bar, completely unconcerned. It was honestly disappointing to watch, and I’ve never seen such a blatant disregard for customer safety and well-being. The only people showing any care or compassion were the waiters, who were visibly more concerned than the so-called “managers.” Strangely, after the choking incident, the managers finally seemed to remember they had jobs to do. The section, which had been completely empty, suddenly saw them patrolling the area as if they were doing them a favor. Too little, too late. I understand that people have bad days, but there’s no excuse for this level of unprofessionalism, especially when customer safety is involved. The only thing that salvaged this experience was the excellent waiter, who clearly deserves a much better team to work with. I won’t be returning, and I hope management takes a long hard look at how they treat their customers and staff. Absolutely disgraceful.

Went here for my birthday as a treat. We were a party of 4, It also catered for halal which was a definite bonus for us. We ordered various starters and mains. The starters unfortunately were underwhelming, and my prawn dish was cold. With the mains 2 of us ordered the steak which was cooked to perfection but unfortunately a little tough and under seasoned. The other 2 ordered 2 different pasta dishes which they both thoroughly enjoyed. The thing that stood out the most was the service which was exceptional. I was offered a free mocktail as it was my birthday and they sung happy birthday to me at the end of the meal, which was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Did my sons 21st birthday here last nite 16/12/24. What can i say!! ALL 26 of us loved the food it was Exceptional. I have eaten in Bank, Gaucho, Pasture but got to say the Steak here was the best!! Not forgetting the sea bass and prawns i could go on and on. Bogdon and the team gave us A1 service they were so welcoming and couldn't do enough. The Decor is really nice, We got a really good deal with the drinks packages also. Will definitely be going back after the New Year!!

Visited as a group of 8 for a birthday meal for my friend. Food is premium priced (£35ish for a steak) which we would have been happy to pay had the service been better. Unfortunately, our service was terrible. Not only was any hospitality absent from our waiter's interactions with us but we were made to feel more like an inconvenience than paying guests. We were repeatedly asked whether we were ready to order whilst still waiting for some of our party to arrive (half the restaurant was empty so no reason to rush us), a drinka order was taken from some guests but I had to repeatedly ask or try and get a 6 attention to order my drinks (we weren't asked if we wanted to order drinks once without having to ask during our 3-hour meal). We asked our waiter for his recommendation from the menu to which he replied, '6 do you like, chicken or beef? Because if I don't know I can't recommend.' This poor service continued throughout the meal. We pulled a waiter aside and asked if they could put a candle in a cake for our friend, he said yes if you order a pudding, yet when pudding was ordered and brought out there was no happy birthday or candle. Staff were chatting to each other but oblivious to us guests. The waiter threw the dessert spoons onto the table... it was almost comically bad. But at £540 for 8 people (mains, some starters and desserts to share 6 2 bottles of wine) once a £55 service charge had been added it didn't feel funny anymore. I looked around for a manager but all staff seemed to be either our very rude waiter or inexperienced. Save your money for somewhere you won't be treated with contempt. I'd recommend Pasture, we had a much better experience there recently for less per head with excellent service.

Began with good staff experience who were from Spain, Italy, St Martine (Caribbean) , Latvia, Greece and perhaps other countries etc. Suffice to say it all went well. Multi national effort indeed. I couldn't help thinking of Brexit scenarios though!! However...!! 3 different starters and mains were chosen and all were excellent. Highly recommended of you're in Hagley Rd area of B'ham. 3-4 mins from Marriott Hotel.

Been here a few times now, always a pleasure. Great atmosphere, great food, plenty of staff and very attentive without rushing you. Our son has allergies, they’re very good at explaining what is in everything and very accommodating of him. One of our favourite restaurants!

5 stars 🌟 all around. One of the best restaurant meals I'd had this year. The food is very good quality and worth the price. I can't remember the names of everything we had, but the steak cut like butter and the garlic mushrooms, freshly baked cocoa bread and deep fried anchovies were delicious. The cocktails were also 🔥 we had x3 Buenos Aeries cocktails, which were divine. The toilets were clean and the atmosphere was good. I recommend and will be back. Free parking is onsite. Bonus ✅️

Really nice atmosphere and the food and drinks were really nice also. Juicy, fat steak with a nice flavour that is cooked well. The Buenos Aeries cocktail tasted so good, probably one of the best cocktails I remember ordering ever. Nice building and atmosphere inside - of course it is not the cheapest place but well worth the price tag for the quality you get. Would recommend!

What an amazing restaurant. We had our anniversary meal her last night & we were not disappointed. The service from Hoi was outstanding, he was so polite & attentive, poured our first drink for us. We shared the calimari starter & I highly recommend to share it, huuuge portion. My husband ordered the pork belly which was so melt in the mouth & I had the ribeye, which was just so juicy & cooked to perfection. The apple empenada was absolutely delicious & hotter than lava inside. We had a fabulous evening x

We arrived at 8pm as a party of 7 for a birthday meal. The service and food was on point. The olives are a must, the best I've tried. I had the flat iron steak and the fillet, both medium rare. Cooked to perfection and the sides we tried were the tomato and onion salad, Mushrooms, mac & cheese also the malbec and the mushroom sauces....all delicious and served in a reasonable time. The service is very good

Bit pricey 300 for 4 with no alcohol but the food was really nice except the squid reacted with my partners mouth and it wasn't as enjoyable for her but all the other food was great
