Well-organized, but lacks personality.

Loved the atmosphere. Especially watching them play "Stacey's Mum" and "Teenage Dirtbag" cracked me up! I would recommend visiting in weekdays when it's quieter

If you love live music, this is definitely a place to go!

I love my smaller intimate music venues and this is now up there. I've wanted to visit for a while and finally made it to a gig, so glad I did. Drinks reasonably priced. Space was great. Staff were happy and friendly. Door staff gave the impression they were actually pleased to see you and had great banter. Atmosphere was just as you'd want it. Manager interactive as well which is a good sign. I'll be watching the gig list closely for my next visit. Until then Jam House - thank you!

Wonderful place with some great live music but i think 8 pound entrance fee is too much!

Great food, great atmosphere but have been a few times over the past couple of months and the bands have played pretty much the same songs.

Had a terrible experience with the bouncer last night 31/1. Turned up after 1 drink the bouncer accused our friend of being too drunk because of his anxious twitches in his hand. He was very rude and made us all uncomfortable. Left and will not be returning.

Fantastic night Food was 5 star 🌟 loved the night that much I went back the next night.. . Bands was do professional to. I.have booked next week to 🙂

Great atmosphere and the band was amazing. Drinks are reasonable. I ordered a fizzy lemonade and it only cost £1.60!! Will definitely go again for the next night out!

The place is cool and i enjoyed the dances floor with the live band music. Peoples around just chilling ,having a good time, drinks and laughter.

The bouncers made us feel incredibly safe. A friends was worried about an abusive ex in the area but I can not describe how amazing they were. If you are group of girls you always be safe with those incredible kind men who gave above and beyond.

Enjoyed a business Christmas booking here for around 30 people, food was nice but the supplier wine was absolutely terrible. One of them seemed off as very much like vinegar. But the evening was kind of ruined as shortly after finishing the meal they wanted us to vacate our spaces which felt very rushed and dampened the evening

Very good music brilliant service

Visited for works Christmas party. Food was average although vegetables were served in a serving dish, both my colleagues and me found them very mushy and tasteless indeed. I feel sorry for waiting on staff who were having to pass meals down the tables due to how many covers were packed in and they were unable to walk comfortably between seats.

Had Xmas meal here on 30th Nov & celebrating daughter’s 21st, live band were fantastic but food was very poor for what we paid ‘2 small roast potatoes and 1 small pig in blanket’ watery gravy together with a large shared bowl of overcooked mush(veg)’ though turkey was ok. Also, I think they let too many people in as dance floor is overcrowded & slippy due to people being allowed to take drinks on dance floor, nothing happened but it seems to almost invite trouble & didn’t feel particularly enjoyable to dance there due to this.

What a night at the Jam house the food was amazing and the live brand was superb 👌🏽

Has the most amazing night here last Friday, the 7 piece band were awesome, were there with 3 of my old school friends and the Band played so many classic tunes, we danced the night away Brilliant venue xx

Wheelchair chair lift needs an upgrade but thank you to all the staff whom assited me on Saterday night. Much appreciated it was not easy.

The best live music around Birmingham, such a warm and inviting place with the best local talent. Good drink options at reasonable prices. Lots of seating. Warm atmosphere. A really creative music space

A great arts venue. I was actually there as part of a Regional Chartered Conference and Dinner. The Conference was excellent with the room being perfect for around 100 people. Hospitality was great with a large bar for post conference networking opportunities. The dinner served upstairs was lovely with excellent service. Great live music afterwards.

Brilliant night, great food, staff were great. A very minor negative was when I needed fresh air, I was directed to the smoking area.

Booked as the house band for a private event. The venue operates across multiple floors but had a great crowd on the night.

Considering how busy this place gets, you can’t fault the service. Staff always going above and beyond with a smile on their face. Girl called Bex served me a lot last night, always asking how my nights going and if there’s anything else she can do. Credit to the establishment!

What a fantastic venue,a Diamond in the rough. Front of House was warm and welcoming,venue downstairs was spacious bar area was well stocked,staff very friendly. upstairs was a restaurant were you could watch the visiting musician's then partake in a Dance on floor level get close and personal with musicians that evening. Would recommend you visit cause i definitely will plus it doesn't cost the earth to have a good night out Jam house i Applaud you All 👏👏👏👏👏

Went to the Jam House last to see The Christians, we had a meal too. First visit, very chatty and very attentive staff, wonderful night, The Christians were brilliant... Loved the night we would definitely recommend..we will be back soon.

Wonderful venue, friendly and professional staff, great food. Live music was amazing (I saw Jimmy Carpenter). The only negative comment I have is that whilst the band was outstanding, it was slightly on the louder side and made it difficult to converse, so I had to go outside to have a discussion. I suppose next time I'll go alone 😔

Amazing Venue - this was my first visit here, the atmosphere and general vibe is incredible- The staff and management team are so friendly, approachable and actually will have a conversation with you unlike many venues - Well done for creating memorable experiences for all your visitors.

Saw Maxi Priest here on 5th September . This place is fabulous. Brilliant service, tasty food. Definitely visit again.

Great night out to see Maxi Priest, great music, great atmosphere. Food was delicious too. No bother, no trouble just brilliant all round.

My other half & I love jazz and have been to many jazz bars but never have we been so insulted by poor judgement by the staff members. We arrived to find people dancing and having a good time to club classics rather than jazz but we thought we’d have one drink and leave. As we have tickets for an event to see Maxi priest. Whilst waiting at the bar for approx 10 mins a fellow customer walked over from the dance floor obnoxiously stood over me stretching across the bar to get the bar tenders attention, clicking his fingers at the staff and hollering at him. We waited to see how this was going to play out but once we saw he was being served my partner addressed the bar staff to inform him what had happened at that this is not ok. The customer became extremely argumentative and kept trying to talk to us which by this point no one was interested in hearing from someone so evidently rude. The bar staff profusely apologised, we got our drinks and headed to the dance floor. A bouncer then approached my partner and stated “your not going to give no trouble tonight are you?” 😳 My partner asked him why would come approach me like that especially after your staff member was so apologetic for pandering to a rude customer. The bouncer repeated the insulting comments. We suggested he speak to the staff members to get an idea of what just took place. He refused and became quite antagonising. So we asked for a refund and left. On us parting I addressed the bouncer about his behaviour and he agreed the way he approached us was gratuitous. Safe to say we won’t be attending this venue for the concert next month as it’s obvious we could be held accountable for other people’s volatile behaviour and this no longer feels like a safe environment to relax and have a good time.

Such a good small music venue. Great atmosphere, bar staff friendly, definitely going back for more.

Dined here on Saturday for my friends birthday. I have never been to the Jam House but have always heard of it through colleagues. What an incredible evening, we had a large table booked in the balcony overlooking the entertainment area. The food was delicious, I had the pan fried duck for main course which was cooked perfectly. The service was great and you were well looked after. I recommend the Pima coladas - one of the best I’ve had! We then went downstairs to the main dancefloor where they had Urban Intro playing. INCREDIBLE 💃🏼🕺🏼 well done team jam house, it was a great evening!!

I went as part of a retirement/leaving party and had a great time. Food was great and the entertainment first class.

Great music and interesting venue worry different levels. We hired one level for a corp event. Only frustration is that we couldn't take home spare bottles of beer we had left over, due to licensing.

Lovely vibe good music and atmosphere, came here for my hen do. The bouncer was so pleasant. The bar girl that served me today, was so lovely and very attentive to a female related issue that I had and I was so grateful for her assistance. Not sure if this will reach her, but her kind gesture was very heartwarming. Love this place, staff are great, music is fab and we always seem to have a great night here.

Wendy at the bar and John at the door and all the other staff made me feel welcome and not a bit silly as I was 2 hours early for a gig, the only one there and on my own! Reasonably priced drinks considering the venue and great atmosphere.

I found music levels really loud, too bright when bands on and very expensive bar, jam packed and unbearably hot. The performing bands are fantastic though and venue inside very nice as are the staff.

It was OK. The piano player was fab but could hardly hear the piano as it was drowned out by his drummer. Also had a thruple next to us that decided they couldn't be bothered to walk outside to vape. Security guy was extremely brusque when trying to ask people to remove their drinks from the edge of the (at that piont) empty stage. If he had been more polite and friendly about it, he would have achieved the same result but, more importantly, maintained the happy atmosphere.

Whilst the original line-up was different for those of us who grew up with ASWAD, it was a belting performance.

Great night at the Jam House. Band was excellent. The Piano Duo are outstanding and the DJ plays tunes that get you on the dance floor. Food was really nice, could do with more of a gap between starter and main course. Service very good. Top night out with friends

Went first time for sis BD , absolutely kicking , nice staff , friendly place , great atmosphere all night , There is mix of ages which is nice but the age range is great has it is as you know everyone going to just have good time. I don’t know if any trouble occurs there like any other place in town but it certainly feels that everyone is there to have great night . The bouncers also do great job have’t got that aggressive way that can be found greeting you at the door some places , drinks are great value an not watered down which in some clubs an pubs it feels they do that , for £8 on the door it’s absolutely worth it , With all dancing I recommend flat shoes feet take hefty bearing music is that good with also great mixture of some fab classics .I deff give it 5 out of 5 and Everybody who works there deserves it :)

Took part in the Ben Drummond Wednesday night Acoustic Session representing SAM Band (appearing as a duo on this ocassion). We were well treated and of course, it's always great to go to the Jam House, which has become an iconic music venue in Brum.

Fantastic little intimate venue which has the benefit of a bar a restaurant and a stage in a nice compact setting. Bar staff are really great. Cant fault their attention and very pleasant demeanour. Prices not bad and the stout is a treat. Attracts some interesting people too! The piano player is worth visiting for an evening on his own along with the drummer. Had a brilliant night,staff made it that much better.
