I found music levels really loud, too bright when bands on and very expensive bar, jam packed and unbearably hot. The performing bands are fantastic though and venue inside very nice as are the staff.

It was OK. The piano player was fab but could hardly hear the piano as it was drowned out by his drummer. Also had a thruple next to us that decided they couldn't be bothered to walk outside to vape. Security guy was extremely brusque when trying to ask people to remove their drinks from the edge of the (at that piont) empty stage. If he had been more polite and friendly about it, he would have achieved the same result but, more importantly, maintained the happy atmosphere.

Whilst the original line-up was different for those of us who grew up with ASWAD, it was a belting performance.

Went first time for sis BD , absolutely kicking , nice staff , friendly place , great atmosphere all night , There is mix of ages which is nice but the age range is great has it is as you know everyone going to just have good time. I don’t know if any trouble occurs there like any other place in town but it certainly feels that everyone is there to have great night . The bouncers also do great job have’t got that aggressive way that can be found greeting you at the door some places , drinks are great value an not watered down which in some clubs an pubs it feels they do that , for £8 on the door it’s absolutely worth it , With all dancing I recommend flat shoes feet take hefty bearing music is that good with also great mixture of some fab classics .I deff give it 5 out of 5 and Everybody who works there deserves it :)

Great night at the Jam House. Band was excellent. The Piano Duo are outstanding and the DJ plays tunes that get you on the dance floor. Food was really nice, could do with more of a gap between starter and main course. Service very good. Top night out with friends

Took part in the Ben Drummond Wednesday night Acoustic Session representing SAM Band (appearing as a duo on this ocassion). We were well treated and of course, it's always great to go to the Jam House, which has become an iconic music venue in Brum.

Fantastic little intimate venue which has the benefit of a bar a restaurant and a stage in a nice compact setting. Bar staff are really great. Cant fault their attention and very pleasant demeanour. Prices not bad and the stout is a treat. Attracts some interesting people too! The piano player is worth visiting for an evening on his own along with the drummer. Had a brilliant night,staff made it that much better.

I absolutely love coming here, the food is amazing, the staff are an absolute credit to the Jam House. Whether it be a meal or a performance,.....,and they have some phenomenal acts....or both.....nothing beats an evening at the Jam House !!

Great music, great vibe, great food. However I had planned on having only a starter and dessert as I don't eat a lot due to past eating problems. I was told I couldn't do this and had to have a main as well (a main on it's own would have been too much as well). After unsurprisingly not finishing my main I asked to have it wrapped up so I could take it home but they couldn't do this either. Put a dampener on what was otherwise a great night.

What an unbelievable experience... First time at the Jam House and boy it won't be the last... The food was amazing / cooked to perfection and such quality... Wow it was presented beautifully. The Service from ollie and Mitchell was exemplary, I've eaten in 5 star restaurants and this service and food easily rivalled that. A set menu with multiple choices @ £40 per head for 3 courses was a price I'm happy to pay... If I'm honest I don't prefer to eat mushrooms but the soup my wife had was another level (she would have preferred 1 more bread roll but it had an amazing taste, texture and extremely flavoursome) The steak was an exceptional cut of meat... Again beautifully presented on the plate with fries / salad garnish and pepper sauce. Photos show the desserts, I had the cheese platter and my wife had the melting cake with ice cream. The chef must be part artist, as all the food that was served had that artistic flare about it. By the time we had finished 3 courses we were very full, the quality and richness of the food was 2nd to none Wow... What a night The live music was off the scale, such talented people covering the songs we all know and love... The sound quality throughout the entire venue was crisp and clear. With Lots of bar staff and ample dancefloor space, A covered smoking area.... This place is my new go to and I would whole heartedly recommend the experience to anyone. The security staff made everyone feel safe and secure, enough of them to cope with the most difficult of customers but relaxed enough to say I'm here to protect you .... Go on enjoy your night out. This is a great team of people, a superb venue with amazing food, quality music and relaxed atmosphere. 5 stars all the way Thanks for a perfect night out 😎👍

This place still has it after nearly 20 years of not visiting, if you want to dance and listen to quality bands this is the place to be. Service was excellent with a great vibe and atmosphere, the band that evening were superb! An amazing place to finish off any night out, highly recommended.

First time going here last night £5 for entry and absoloutely loved the atmosphere, the bar staff were so friendly. The live band were really good everyone was up and dancing! Absoloutely loved this bar, can't believe I've never heard of it before!

Xmas party. 2nd time I've been there. Music bit naff, food ok. Sweaty works dos are much of a muchness, but this place gives off noughties vibes.

A real fun and hip place for non-Gen Zs. For corporate events, small parties or other reasons for a party. It is a place with incredible atmosphere and alternating live music with deejays. Mainly Gen X and a bit of millennials crowd. Let your hair down here and sway with the giant disco ball! Restaurant which transforms into a dance floor, amd check the hanging chairs on the ceilings.

Great staff team good food and good entertainment especially if you enjoy live music

The Jam House is a really great venue for live music, we have visited many times this year because it was so good. They have great bands, the staff are always friendly and welcoming, and there is a really lovely restaurant area upstairs which overlooks the stage and dance floor. The food has always been excellent too. This is why we would definitely recommend it and look forward to going to more gigs in the future.

The Jam House is a cracking bar with fabulous Entertainment it’s £10 to get in on a Friday night but it’s worth it for a late drink a bit of a dance and some great music.

Had a really good night here in November. Came for a works do and stayed until closing 😊 Hadn't been for a few years but it was just as good as the last time. Band was great, great atmosphere and even better..they have my favourite lager on tap, Camden Hells! Would recommend to anyone for a good night and would definitely return

From the front of house team at the door to a visit from the restaurant manager every single member of staff were genuinely warm, welcoming and friendly. I had a fab night the music was great plus the staff where very friendly

We went for food and got a balcony seat, then got to watch the band from the balcony and also go down to dance. Great music. Great vibes, food was excellent and waiting staff polite and helpful. Drinks were tasty and everything was reasonably priced. Would recommend and I'm sure we'll be back!

I had a fabulous evening. Booked a table with a view. The food was good, thank you Olivia for the service. Issy and the rest of the team are so nice helpful and accommodating. The Big Ship Alliance was fantastic I danced all night long.

We had the fortune to have visited when a Reggae band was on stage. Excellent evening!!! The club is well laid out snd has adequate air-conditioning. Great venue....it's a must!!@

Absolutely loved this place. They have a new small plate menu and the food was amazing. Good prices too (£20 for three dishes or £25 with a cocktail added on). They had a band on called Black Jeans and they were excellent. We will definitely be returning soon (possibly next Thursday 😂😂)

Well worth it. If you want to take your partner out for a meal with some extra entertainment. This is the venue. Fed, watered and a sing along . I stopped myself from dancing in the table and had a great night. Dont take my word for it. Try it out .

Limited menu (especially for vegetarians) but what food we had was delicious. Friendly staff. I particularly appreciated the water waiter, nice to see someone proud of their work and he did a very good job.

Went for a works dinner party. Nice venue with amazing live music but be warned it's incredibly loud so you can't have a conversation, plus there's not much room as you're packed in like sardines. The staff are mostly great but one of the female waitresses upstairs was very snappy and rude, telling us we were at the wrong booked table even though our friends were already there, and she didnt even apologise, so that wasn't very nice. Vegetarian options are scarce unfortunately, especially with dessert, and some of the food portions are tiny, but it is tasty. Didn't enjoy it as much as previous visits though which is a shame.

Good band; place wasn't what I expected

Go for the jamming not for the dining I would recommend this place for drinks and the music, although the drinks are on the pricey side . You do get a lot of entertainment from very talented people. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun. Everyone there is there purely to have a good time and enjoy the music…. Just don’t waste time or money on the food. As a large party we pre ordered from a set menu. The food came out quickly… But that’s about the only good thing. I had the meat board to start which was a hard ball of bread (no butter/oils) meats were ok, nothing special. I had the cod and my partner had seabass. The portions were embarrassingly tiny, the food was no where near the standard you would expect. The whole party was left hungry and throughly disappointed.

Great venue and events happening here! The bar is busy but still with a speedy service and the staff well dressed cosy and stylish, professional thinking out of the box I absolutely loved it~me and my friends had a great time in here~highly recommended it’s a pity I didn’t visit this place before better than many other places I’ve been to if I knew about Jam house I would be a regular client from long ago. Looking forward to more quality time here again! Will recommend to others and visit soon again~ 5 stars thank you
