Turtle Bay Caribbean Restaurant in Birmingham

Had an amazing bottomless brunch experience with Tyran and Blake. The food was great and the service was perfect. I will most definitely come again.

If it was possible I would rate this restaurant 0/5 stars. Yesterday the 2nd May 2025, me and my friends approached this restaurant ready get our night started for an 18th birthday celebration. We had our table booked for 6PM however arrived 20 minutes late due to delayed trains getting into Birmingham as we had travelled to get to this location. After being let in by the kind and understanding security man, we were confronted by the manager who had no sympathy whatsoever and rejected us and made us leave the restaurant. We tried to plead with him, explaining that it does not state anything online or on the website about holding time for a table and he was stubborn and disrespectful leaving us feeling clueless as we did not know what to do being 6 girls in Birmingham without a now plan. We showed him receipts of calls we had made multiple times that went straight to voicemail due to unavailable staff and a busy service an hour before the booking but he could not care. We tried to plea with him one more time stating “what would you do if it was your daughters 18 and she was 20 minutes late unintentionally” which he replied “I WOULD SLAP THE SH*T OUT OF HER”. Looking back I am glad we didn’t waste our money here, what a nasty manager, his name is wakass according to his staff which also left us concerned with the amount of negative feedback they gave us. Disgusting

Staff were racist Especially the manager - tried to argue with me about where I could sit when I asked nicely - he also dismissed me when I was waiting at the door and took ages to come then when other people came he was quick to attend to them and friendly Food was burnt Drinks were good though Management had horrible attitude not nice to the black people at all

Came early in the day so was quiet and was greeted by marius such a friendly person and brings a positive vibe to the place would reccomend if in the area

Marius was really helpful in locating a table with quick and efficient service soon following. Food was lovely also

The restaurant/bar is an amazing place to take any friends or family. It is full of positive energy and very lovely people. Marius in particular was very welcoming with good manners and a very very polite individual. If you do come to turtle bay I honestly would 1000% recommend speaking with Marius for any enquiries. Absolute top man!

Reserve este lugar con 3 semanas de antelación para mi cumpleaños de marido. Estaba absolutamente embestido, era un sábado, buen ambiente allí, sin embargo, nos mostraron a nuestra mesa y nos dieron una bebida de bienvenida poco después (algún tipo de cóctel en una botella que era bastante dulce) luego nos sirvieron por la encantadora Samantha. Dijo que cuando tu vaso esté medio vacío te traeremos otra bebida y fiel a su palabra de que lo estaba. Pedí la hamburguesa que estaba un poco procesada y muy espesa. Las papas fritas eran encantadoras. Encantadores cócteles de ron, pero solo se puede elegir los que tienen la palmera al lado. Tbh había un montón de ellos. Recomiendo encarecidamente el único amor, muy agradable. El Prosecco era precioso en una copa de champán. Samantha siempre fue muy informativo, y también nos dijo que pidamos nuestra última bebida como estábamos al final de nuestras dos horas. Las bebidas eran geniales se podía elegir entre rayas rojas pulgadas de sidra, cócteles de ron también un daiquiri de fresa en el menú. Aunque este lugar fue embestido no puedo fallar el servicio. Un montón de otros bares agradables a poca distancia, no muy lejos es también la calle 7 bolera y lugar de juegos que es un buen grito! Love Turtle Bay definitivamente volverá!

I recently dined at Turtle Bay, and it was fantastic! The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were super friendly. The food was delicious, especially the shack stack burger . I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great dining experience! (Shout out miles our server )

It was our first visit to Turtle bay and we had the best time. The food was gorgeous the atmosphere was amazing and the 2 for 1 cocktails went down a treat. Our host Shyan was a whole vibe and like a ray of sunshine. Definitely recommend this place to visit.
