The best restaurants in West Midlands

We cycled over 10 miles to visit this entity which apparently has not been a tea room for over 3 years. It is still showing on the Herefordshire publicity material and cycle guides as a tea room. The photographs on Trip Advisor are also very misleading. There are currently no tea rooms in Pembridge.

Great place with a nice atmosphere. Had a really tasty meal, including the 'railway' special, which went with the well mixed cocktails ;)

We were looking for a coffee shop in Evesham for a cup of decent coffee and came across Buon Giorno cafe. We chose various coffees and cake which sustained four people prior to their journey home. It was very satisfying besides being warm and comfortable.

This lovely little cafe has reopened under new management since the previous owner sadly fell ill. The new owner bakes all the cakes herself and they are absolutely incredible. My sister and I popped in and had the carrot cake (sublime!) and Victoria sponge (huge!) and thought both were delicious. A family group was just about to be served what looked like a splendid afternoon tea and we were very jealous! She also does light lunches. We will be back.

A really good meal, very tasty and not too filling. We all enjoyed it. 2 of us had the Thali and it was a perfect selection thank you.

Excellent food, lovely table and such a quaint little place,service with a smile thoughrouly enjoyed the evening will return when we're back in Broadway

Great team, kind welcoming and seem to all be on it.was served at the counter by Eleanor as I am useless when it comes to QR codes, she made the process super simple and efficient. Not to mention the food was delish x Will be visiting again soon Cheers guys

Always a great experience at the Island. Brilliant food and service. They have a good selection of Greek dishes and desserts.

Booked via WhatsApp. Reply came back quickly next day, all booked. Arrived on busy Saturday, greeted immediately and taken to table. Cafe is series of rooms and outside area open in summer, we were seated in room at rear with view of garden. Like being in lovely dining room in someone’s house. Throughout service was first class. We have breakfast, served until 1130. Sausage sandwich on really fresh granary bread. Just lovely. We will return, the highest was the service. Just how it should be.

I found the green cow kitchen @ Crumplebury very underwhelming and the experience is highly missold. Firstly, the concept of calling it a chefs table when in reality you’re being sat in a large room on a long table with about 20 other guests was a big shock. There was no personal experience nor were the dishes introduced over the sound of other guests on the table. I’d like to bring you attention to the definition of a chefs table: A table located in the kitchen of a restaurant, reserved for special guests and allowing them to see the chef at work and sometimes to be served a tasting menu. I’ve experienced some great restaurants and when you read what you may experience from a particular restaurant you do normally experience exactly that. In this case I feel like it is very much over compensated with the wording online. The food was genuinely sub standard. The courses didn’t seem anything special, the flavour selections were interesting. Nothing wowed me about the food, drinks or service. I had some conversations with the guests that were also awfully disappointed, however, they did say they have had better experiences there at Crumplebury in the past. One positive about the experience is that the grounds of Crumplebury are nice, on a farm and very nicely lit at night.

Fantastic informal dining experience, exceptionally good food with a great choice on the menu with a very friendly & accommodating host, would recommend to pay a visit & dine here.

Such a comfortable, welcoming place to stay for the night. Breakfast was really delicious, the white table cover and beautiful cloth napkins were a lovely touch!

Excellent choice for meeting up with friends from start to finish. We celebrated a sixty birthday here and we're delighted with the staff and menu. Fabulous choice of platters and individual dishes to suit everyone. A fun place to enjoy a wonderful unique dining experience in Ludlow.

Excellent high quality food from a wide ranging menu which was both delicious and well presented. The service was courteous and helpful in terms of choosing the most suitable dishes. The atmosphere and decor were particularly nice, as was the live music played on this Friday evening.
