The best restaurants in South West

Such a fabulous venue for a relaxed social evening with friends and family, lovely food, great staff, fine wines and always a good atmosphere

I have tried to get takeaways here about three times. Each time I have been left waiting at the counter. The first two times it took about 15 mins to get chips. Not even busy in the restaurant. The last time the guy behind the counter told me he had a backlog of 20 minutes for orders. There was no one in the cafe. I have only gone back because it was recommended to me! Just go to falafel eat instead.

Op niveau komen is soms makkelijk maar het blijven aanhouden is de kunst. Wel na ettelijke malen kunnen wij absoluut zeggen dat het steeds een mooie ervaring is om bij Gianni en Rosaria te gaan dineren. De sfeer, het contact met de gast, de keuze van de wijnen : top. Niet allemaal tegelijk willen gaan want dan geraak ik niet meer binnen 😀. Toch proberen !

My husband and I were walking the Cotswold way and stumbled upon this little gem. Yummy food- fresh, creative salads, tasty quiche, a side of perfect crispy potatoes and a very yummy Jamaican ginger cake. But best of all, was the friendly service and fellow diners. Everyone was so friendly and helpful about tips for our walk. The building is very quaint and they had the loveliest posters and art dispalyed on the way to the bathroom. If I hadn't been walking with an already full pack, I would've bought some for sure!

Stayed here in August 23. Lovely accommodation, spacious and clean. Vikki and Martin are both very helpful. Really relaxed atmosphere. The children loved playing in the games room and the communal garden. We might even come back for another visit. Would highly recommend this accommodation.

Amazing pastries and cakes! The Devon apple pie was a firm favourite. As were the sausage rolls. Good selection of gluten free options too, the homity pie was very tasty.

Such a lovely place! Stunning afternoon tea and delightful owners.

Amazing all round, everything was delicious and the staff are very attentive and polite highly recommend. Perfect for healthy eating and an intimate breakfast with a partner.

It was a lovely experience with delicious food, there was space for 16 guests total on our night. Bring your own drinks. Book well in advance as it fills up quickly

Went on a Saturday at lunchtime and got great burgers (one beef and one chicken burger). The fries were the best I've had for a long time. Draught beer available and very friendly service. Second time here and we'll definitely come again.

Forty5 is hidden away in the outskirts of Cheltenham but by far the best restaurant I have eaten in. The food was perfection, cooked by the very talented Gareth who came to talk us through his menu. The restaurant is in peaceful surroundings, and was lovely and quiet, for those of us who like to chat while we eat. Cocktails in the bar beforehand were also delightful. Highly recommended!

We hired West Coast Pizza for our wedding and they did not disappoint. Throughout the whole process they we friendly, informative and helpful. We went to one of their pitches in Oldland and tried out the pizza which is (in our opinion) the best pizza we've had outside of Italy. On the wedding day the service and food was incredible and it was a pleasure having them as part of our wedding. Our guests still talk about it now!

Passiflora is a lovely coffee shop surrounded by idyllic gardens. The coffee and pastries are extremely delicious and the vibe exceptionally salubrious. So far, three generations are creating a wonderful atmosphere for conversation and relaxation. Watch out Mary Berry, Grandma makes a wicked Victoria Sponge! 🌿😋☕️🍰🌸
