Enjoyed an amazing Katsu curry night at Kinori. Food, service and atmosphere amazing. I forgot to get a photo of the main as I was too excited to taste it! Highly recommend and will definitely be returning. Word of advice - can be difficult to find the entrance, walk around the first corner of the industrial estate and then down the slope into the building, you'll find a sign there showing you where to go :)

Lovely and plump rice, never had authentic Japanese food this good. I thought places like this were only made for cities, not a small town in Somerset!! Absolute amazing, would definitely recommend. Staff also so friendly and personable

This place is incredible. The food, the hosts, I can't wait to go again! It's a different dining experience to a traditional restaurant, and this makes it all the better. Hide is clearly passionate about his craft and that comes across heaps, highly recommend going to see for yourself. You will need to book well in advance however (which shows you how good this place is).

It was a perfect night out with friends 💕 small and cosy, but not small enough to feel awkward. It's a great atmosphere with lots of chat and laughter ! The food was absolutely delicious! Especially the sushi 🍣 starter and the main Donburi 😋 overall a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend to anyone with a taste for Japanese/Asian food.

Such an fantastic experience in a cosy setting, the chef is very friendly and just wants everyone to have a great time, to enjoy the food and vibes. It’s also BYOB and glasses are provided. The tuna and avocado stater with crispy onions was delicious!

Enjoyed a wonderful Japanese set-meal with friends to celebrate a birthday, wasn't sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised and will certainly be back to experience one of the other supper night menu's Hidé offers.

It’s everything you wouldn’t expect, but so much better than expected at the same time. The most intimate dining experience, with the most lovely hosts. The food is to die for, cooked to perfection, and the creme brûlée is the best I’ve ever had! Go and book when you’re able, you won’t be disappointed! We are already booking our next visit!

Always a lovely meal. A small intimate venue that is nothing like what you expect from the outside. Very nice food and a friendly, cosy atmosphere. You book in advance to get the set menu for that evening with vegan and vegetarian options also available.

An amazing dining experience. Not your usual restaurant, Hide provides "supper evenings" where he cooks a set menu for a very limited guest list. Without doubt one of the best meals we have had in a long time. The food was simply delicious. Hide happily provided a vegetarian option for myself whilst my husband had the regular set menu. We cannot compliment Hide and his food highly enough! Certainly will be returning in the future

If you want something completely different to a normal restuarant experience and like Japanese food, then you need to try this. Great atmosphere and even better food, been back several times now and always great.
