The best restaurants in Salisbury St Edmund and Milford Wiltshire South West

The ladies behind the bar are lovely and accommodating. The food was meh. Ordered peri peri chicken, it was a plain chicken breast with a dollop of chilli sauce and small garlic bread. Buffalo wings was good though. Portion of chips are so small.

Tried to order online and the order was showing as pending and were not sure if the order had gone through. Walked to the store to check, told the order had not gone through. Out through the order for us and cost £7 more than before despite still collecting . Questioned why (despite the man serving having seen our attempts to order with pending card payments) and would not honour the same price. Was unhelpful, rude and charged us more for the exact same thing. We are returning customers but won’t be returning this time as the service was not good. Just to add , despite them reassuring us that our original order had not gone through, upon checking the bank account a few days later , we were actually charged twice for the meal after all.

2nd time visiting here, as was great last time. Food was excellent again and the use of herbs and spices were delicate. We were mainly served by Jade who was lovely and attentive. She was also passionate about the food they were serving. Highlights for me were the ginger mocktail, the amazing slow cooked pork belly starter and the use of mint, coriander and chilli to lift the dishes. Everyone enjoyed the food and drink and the restaurant was clean with a nice relaxed atmosphere. Only downsides were that the temperature was a little cold and they looked a little short in terms of servers. However, would definitely recommend. 🙂

Warm welcoming from the staff and the food is always spot on!

Visited the Milano restaurant on Friday, 25th February for celebratory dinner with family we hadn't seen for months. Just right. Good service and really fantastic food - right through the courses.

Nice and casual and not hurried reasonable prices

Bought cod and chips yesterday. Cod was really overcooked, batter so hard and greasy and fish dry and very chewy. Never had chewy fish before. Had to throw it in the bin.

Always have a great experience at Zizzi Salisbury. The staff is very welcoming and friendly food was great.

The best pizza I have ever had in Salisbury. The crust is thin and crispy, and the toppings are always fresh and flavourful. As a vegetarian I especially love the veg hot pizza. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating, taking extra care for vegetarians.

Ordered a takeaway. Best one I've had in a long time.

Stunning vindaloo, beef fell apart and on the return list!

Lovely Thai place with great food, some good beers on tap and very friendly service, smack in the middle of town.

Got a meal delivered from here tonight. I had beef curry with boiled rice. And I have never had such a disappointing Chinese meal in my life. Cold when it arrived, the beef was like chewing worn leather, the curry sauce was tasteless and the rice had been boiled dry. Never have I had such a BAD Chinese meal. Absolutely awful. Won't be spending money here ever again. Very poor. Needless to say that my meal went straight into the waste bin.

Always good beer and relaxed atmosphere.

A Beautiful traditional pub with an extensive menu, fabulous food and attentive staff. Will definitely return when in the area.
