Gringos in Wiltshire

Tried to order online and the order was showing as pending and were not sure if the order had gone through. Walked to the store to check, told the order had not gone through. Out through the order for us and cost £7 more than before despite still collecting . Questioned why (despite the man serving having seen our attempts to order with pending card payments) and would not honour the same price. Was unhelpful, rude and charged us more for the exact same thing. We are returning customers but won’t be returning this time as the service was not good. Just to add , despite them reassuring us that our original order had not gone through, upon checking the bank account a few days later , we were actually charged twice for the meal after all.

When we first got the menu through the door everything sounded amazing. However after the order was placed it took OVER 2 hours, even after calling multiple times when the food will arrive it took them 1 hour to actually start cooking the food. For reference we ordered a family platter for 4 people and an extra packet of chips. After we received the order we had discovered we were missing 2 out of the 4 chips and the salad size was more a garnish. The chips tasted good although the portion was small and chicken was fine and the lamb ribs had no meat although they tasted good. We then called about the missing chips the person on the phone was very rude and didn't believe we were missing food. Don't not recommend as delivery was wrong and food had small portions.

Had a great meal with the chicken and cheese quesadilla and the lamb.

decided on this place as a random date night, and in my opinion; it’s an even better nandos. we were served our food within 15 minutes of arrival, catered to all our needs and it was absolutely delicious. priced well for what you get, it was £13 for 1/4 chicken, 3 wings fried and a drink!! would recommend this !!

Went tonight with my 2 adult sons Quick service So tasty really taste the flame grill in every bite Value for money Definitely recommend And will be coming back

Just found it and I stopped buying from somewhere else, as these are much more delicious and affordable.

Second time here,I had the smoking stack burger and it was amazing,again,the chips and his homemade dips where delicious,I highly recommend there burgers,they are similar to 5 guys,thanks dimitri and well done.

Food was good but found hair in food and he had to change the plate.

We went to eat in, around 18:00 dead quite guy was very polite, but we didn't stay to order. There was an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke couldn't see who could be smoking though, my friend wasn't keen because of this so we left. Would be willing to try again though as other reviews are really positive

As we walked in and told them we had a table booked they seemed surprised and asked if it was for Gringos or Grillado! Once we were seated we had to wait a long time for anyone to take our order - we weren’t asked if we wanted a drink prior to this. Food came and was tasty - chicken wraps were huge and corn was delicious, chicken wings were big. My only criticism with the food was that the chips felt like really cheap catering ones. As we finished we put on our coats and went to ask for the bill. They seemed to be really busy for takeaway so it appears to be a take away with a couple of tables rather than a restaurant which offers a take away. The food is reasonably priced and cost a little over £30 but I’m not sure if we would come back which is a shame as whilst we really like Nando’s we prefer to support independent businesses.

Had our meal delivered today was all absolutely amazing great portions and fast service. Highly recommend.

Nice place near the centre of Salisbury. The service was good, staff were polite. The place was clean and tidy. Why the 3 stars? Should have been more I had a chicken burger, I did have to pull the burger apart half way through to check if there was any chicken in there. For what is probably an expensive burger at around £12 based on UK prices, I don't expect to be scrimped on the chicken. There was plenty of lettuce, gherkin and two onion rings but I wasn't looking for a salad con with onion rings. I hope they take the feedback on board and make changes.

One of the best restaurants in town, from the homemade tiramisu to the amazing sauces and grilled meats and burgers. I wouldn't go anywhere else for amazing food!

Takeaway was great, really flavoursome food although limited vege options which i wld expect, there was still a bit of choice. Lovely garlic bread!

I Ordered through their website, which I urge everyone to do, it's cheaper for you with free delivery, and I imagine they receive more of the money compared to with delivery apps like deliveroo, so a win win for everyone! The food arrived quick and hot. The wings were lovely and the sweet potatoe fries were crispy! Great value food!

Due to Covid we have only had home deliveries from here… however husband is a little fussy, and he loves lamb chops and criss cross fries. I love pulled chicken tacos … fast delivery too

Honestly really good food at a decent price..really can't fault the place...staff are friendly even to the point that when walking home the other night they had closed but the lady who cooks gave us her food that she was taking home for herself..excellent quality and way better than the food poisoning service at Nandos

Nice looking place liked the comfort of the seats As we didn't book and never visited before wasn't sure what to expect. Had no idea it didn't serve alcohol lol my friend was disappointed with this . We said let's go for a beer and lite bite of food . Ok just the food then. Found that the service was kinda slow I suppose it was a Sunday. But the young man who served us was very nice. No background music which made it seem even quieter in there. Had two starters chill bites n hallumi fries both good. The main course had chicken strips n rice . The chicken was a tad dry seemed over cooked .As was the rice . Slightly disappointed by this but the sauce was absolutely delicious. It didn't put me off going back maybe I'll try again another day. Ooh the hot towels at end of meal. Loved this! Nice touch.

very disappointing. fries soggy and cold, peri peri chicken overcooked and without spices. i thought this place would deliver food that taste like nando's but better. a few days ago, i received a flyer home and it flew right to the trash.

Bigger, cheaper, tastier and faster than Nandos!

Delicious food. Very generous portions. The main plus point is they have various lamb options unlike Nandos. Very friendly customer service. Loved the sweet potato fries option as a side.

Me and my other half ordered from gringos on valantines day the food arrived within half hour and the food was pipping hot and it really was delicious thank you gringos

Very very disappointed. Defiantly will not be ordering from here again. The chicken was raw, crisscut fries where soggy and stone cold & some of the order missing. 50 plus pound completely wasted

Fabulous. Restaurant standard food at takeaway prices. Ordered late on NY eve and again yesterday afternoon. Chicken super succulent, not dry at all. Best fries, chicken burrito was so good and healthier than anything ordinarily delivered. Burgers with all the restaurant standard trimmings. So Lush. You'd be satisfied if you'd ordered this in a decent restaurant, let alone a takeaway. Definitely the highest end food you can order for home delivery. Well done guys. We'll be ordering until we pop.
