The best restaurants in Kington Wiltshire South West

Perfect place, they are very welcoming, the place is nice and cosy, the food is nice and well cooked. They have colour pencils and drawings to entertain children. We had a lovely time and really enjoyed our full English breakfast.

I help by cleaning this place. Very nice friendly couple run it and they have just put up there decorations for Christmas

Excellent service and good menu. Well labelled for GF etc. Portion size generous. Struggled to finish my pudding! Nice to see a restaurant busy on a Wednesday night

Outstanding Cafe. Clean, bright comfortable. Staff polite and very friendly.Breakfast was delicious. Speedy service even at a busy time. Waiting room with seats for people waiting to be seated. Excellent value for money. Bacon baguette full of flavour.Large toasted tea cake delicious. Flat white and hot chocolate could have been hotter. Thank you for a great experience.

Unfortunately unable to review accomodation,food or service as we were double booked. Apparently landlords wife responsible for this so she was summoned. Landlord then completely ignored us and didnt even offer us a seat let alone an apology, this was left to his wife. She didnt seem well and was apparently in hospital at the time of our booking. She went away, 20 mins later produced £140 to cover the cost at premier inn who had ample availability and she had phoned them. Premier Inn denied any phone calls from Helen. They had one room which went whilst we were trying to book it. Plenty of certificates of awards, shame they are so old and tatty like the pub. I hate being lied to but rudeness, lies and facing a night in the car... Dont book here, disgraceful performance. Tired and niaive, should have insisted they booked it in front of us! Took the edge off Bath Christmas market tbh!

Proper village hospitality, brilliant!

stayed one night on 07.08.24. 2x people, 2x rooms. Clean 10/10. Ambience 10/10. Friendliness 10/10. Comfort 10/10. Beautiful rooms, view across to 500 year old church from the bedroom window. Large free car park as part of the hotel. And the breakfast was honestly the best breakfast i ever had in a hotel setting, 12/10 for that. Highly recommended place to stay by us.

Lovely Sunday Lunch- three courses for £28 is tremendous value and all tasted delicious!

Lovely cafe with benefit of charging pointa next door. Very friendly staff and good quality breakfast.

Reception staff (Fri 15 Nov) went out of their way to offer and provide assistance to me and my partner (wheelchair user) to get to our room with additional luggage / equipment.

Supper club night. Food excellent!

Greggs cleaning was awful, tables not been cleaned, bins full. Shelfs empty. Staff nice one young working, other girl just standing around

Once again the store was closed before the advertised closing time. They are happy to waste your time.
