The best restaurants in Kington Wiltshire South West

Perfect place, they are very welcoming, the place is nice and cosy, the food is nice and well cooked. They have colour pencils and drawings to entertain children. We had a lovely time and really enjoyed our full English breakfast.

Lovely staff made us feel extremely welcome and generous with portions! Great choice if you’re in the local area or driving along the M4.

Unfortunately unable to review accomodation,food or service as we were double booked. Apparently landlords wife responsible for this so she was summoned. Landlord then completely ignored us and didnt even offer us a seat let alone an apology, this was left to his wife. She didnt seem well and was apparently in hospital at the time of our booking. She went away, 20 mins later produced £140 to cover the cost at premier inn who had ample availability and she had phoned them. Premier Inn denied any phone calls from Helen. They had one room which went whilst we were trying to book it. Plenty of certificates of awards, shame they are so old and tatty like the pub. I hate being lied to but rudeness, lies and facing a night in the car... Dont book here, disgraceful performance. Tired and niaive, should have insisted they booked it in front of us! Took the edge off Bath Christmas market tbh!

Proper village hospitality, brilliant!

stayed one night on 07.08.24. 2x people, 2x rooms. Clean 10/10. Ambience 10/10. Friendliness 10/10. Comfort 10/10. Beautiful rooms, view across to 500 year old church from the bedroom window. Large free car park as part of the hotel. And the breakfast was honestly the best breakfast i ever had in a hotel setting, 12/10 for that. Highly recommended place to stay by us.

Lovely Sunday Lunch- three courses for £28 is tremendous value and all tasted delicious!

A little way down the road from the M4 motorway but very nice cafe good food and hot drinks with toilets and a shop

Reception staff (Fri 15 Nov) went out of their way to offer and provide assistance to me and my partner (wheelchair user) to get to our room with additional luggage / equipment.

Greggs cleaning was awful, tables not been cleaned, bins full. Shelfs empty. Staff nice one young working, other girl just standing around

This store is shared with Greggs, so both stores are quite small. I arrived quite late and the shop was empty of customers, which is a time I would not recommend as the food was not renewed and quite cold. I ordered a couple of Whoppers and some cheese and bacon topped fries, and the price was a BIGGER whopper than the burger, at over £25!!! This is very over-the-top in my opinion. Even though the food was cold, it still had good flavour.
