We have been coming to this establishment for several years on our holidays and have been greatly let down this year. Our food was lovely, but due to a server error when taking our order some of our food was missing. The staff weren’t very receptive when we tried to figure out what had gone wrong, but shortly discovered that the waitress has taken our order incorrectly. This led to us being over charged for a cream tea for one but it didn’t include the tea. We didn’t feel very welcomed. We always have to sit outside because we have a dog, which we completely understand, but there were minimal tables available and it looked run down. As a family we feel it has lost its spark.

This place is my new favourite place to go for breakfast in Westward Ho! The service was excellent, such a lovely couple!! The food quality was top notch! The sausages were from the butchers next door and my Dad especially loved the thick sliced toast from the bakery too! All round brilliant 🤩 we will definitely be back!!

We had such a delicious lunch today at Joe’s new cafe in Bideford. We love visiting Morocco, and we were delighted to discover this little gem today after being recommended by a friend. Joe, from Morocco himself, is clearly proud of the food he prepares, and everything was made using herbs and spices he brings back from home when he visits. We started with mint tea, and the aroma took us straight back to the medina in Marrakech. We thoroughly enjoyed the home baked bread alongside the different fresh salads he prepared, and a delightful Mackerel dish. We finished off with a lovely slice of homemade lemon and lime cake. Joe himself was incredibly friendly, and we very much enjoyed chatting with him over lunch. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu, it all sounds so delicious! Thanks again Joe Lisa and Shim x

Very clean cafe staff friendly service is slow waited 10 mins after our coffee came for our scones which weren't thebest Staff stood around talking when there were tables that needed cleaning Just think some extra training needed doesn't look good when staff are standing around talking when it's obvious that there are things to do

Had an impromptu lunch in here and absolutely loved it. Super happy staff who were absolutely lovely. The vibe as sooon as we went inside was one of fun and joy. When Yazzy started to play music it totally made it. Loved the 2 for £10 cocktails too. Food was delicious.

Had gluten free fish & chips for the time in YEARS! And followed up with a gluten free battered sausage. I left VERY happy, and will make a habit of returning on a Monday. £8.35 for cod was a bit steep, but it's been so long since I've had fish & chips, I assume that's the going rate now... Loved it & will be back!

I just love this quirky wee cafe. I had visited it a few years ago and was delighted to see it's still there. On the day I went the internet was sadly down but I was able to pay by BACS, that might have explained why it was so quiet - people go, the food is great and the ambience very inviting, especially on a sunny day! I had the mackerel with bagels, salad and kimchi, delicious.

Absolutely dreadful we looked it up online and it said it opened at 8 o’clock we arrived stood outside for 10 minutes. A rude member of staff asked us what we wanted and then told us that nothing was ready
