Popped in for a quick pint, sat upstairs watching the waves, beautiful views lovely beer

Great spot right on the front overlooking westward ho! Beach. Great place for people watching with a drink after a paddle or a stroll on the beach .

Spent a couple of hours with a friend catching up, great view, nice chilled atmosphere. You can order from your table if you want, or at the bar. Good selection of drinks alcoholic and non. So good for all tastes.

Good place to sit in the sun and have a beer watching the world go by.

Had coffee and cake. The cake wasn't quite cooked through but the pub and staff were very nice.

Lovely friendly sea front pub with a nice atmosphere!!! It has wheelchair access but the lady's is upstairs.

Nice addition to the front in Westward Ho! Lots of seating areas, inside and out, upstairs and down, friendly staff, dogs welcome everywhere. Good selection of drinks. Had a complete refit 3/24

I love westward ho! And this is a great place to sit out and watch the world go by. Service to the table through phone ordering too.

Best authentic stonebaked pizza we've had in the UK........and we've been to a LOT of places over the years. Wonderful staff, great selection of local beers and ciders coupled with a superb view all make one of the best places to eat and drink in the area. Oh, and there is a treat for guys and gals in the toilets too, just a nice touch 🤣👍🏻

Such an amazing location! It's very hard to criticise much about this place, sitting on the veranda or the upper deck with a cider in hand, watching a stunning sunset is hard to beat. We visited on a very busy afternoon/eve in peak season. The staff although overstretched were still courteous and friendly. Our table was sticky, and there was very obviously nobody available to wipe down as it was so busy, I asked for a cloth from behind the bar and sorted it myself which was not a problem. Ordering from the app at the table worked well, the wait was not too long despite the volume of customers. Overall, this is a gem of a pub right on the sea front with a great selection of food and drink. Highly recommended.

Pleasant place to be, mostly nice service and drinks however one waitress was very rude and abrupt and told us she needed the door open, although we sat inside to avoid the wind she insisted it be kept open. Young blonde waitress needs to learn how to speak to customers.

The food options are the surrounding outlets, recommend the pizza. 🍕 drinks are always nice and cool, staff are always friendly and welcoming, could do with a couple more on busy days maybe, but the star of the show is the view, very relaxing on a sunny day or evening highly recommend.

Stunning views - acceptable beer - average service. Regardless, I'd happily return here and therefore I recommend this pub.

Had a pint and a pizza from the trailer. Lovely spot for a pint on a sunny day overlooking the sea. Pizzas were really good. Ordered using a phone and the drinks were brought to us a by a friendly staff. Will go again

Called in for a couple of pints whilst visiting appledore, was a really nice place, absolutely spotless, staff were friendly and efficient. Can't wait to go back

My understanding is that Saturday 11th May was very unusual. Speaking to local lads in the queue who said 'never seen it this busy, even in summer, or when the football is on'. Considering this, it is fair enough there is a queue at the bar, but ... when I arrived, there was a queue at the far end, by the gents. As I queued, people started a second queue going directly to the middle of the bar. Fine, if the staff know who joined which one first, but they don't, so the barman took an order from someone I know very well came in after me and simply said he was there first. As the evening went on, the queues got bigger. By around 8pm, there was a single queue which everyone stuck to. I was in the queue for over 15 mins, getting closer to the front, when two lads went straight to the middle of the bar, obviously known to the young barman, and got served immediately ... nice way to treat your visiting guests (just made it back to pizza van in time, as was told it would be 20mins). Absolutely no fault of the staff, but disgusted by a customer who sat drinking whilst her black spaniel was panting in the blazing sunshine for 30mins or so. She didn't even give the poor thing a drink of water.

Stopped for a coffee, stunning views over the water, ordered coffee and cakes via the qr code, order took over 20mins, bar not busy, when delivered the cake order was wrong, no apologies but replaced cake. Quality of cake very poor, obviously not homemade and dry. On leaving asked for some fresh water for our dogs, staff member rudely replied they would get it, but they didn t have 2 pairs of hands! Would not visit again

One of the best seafront pubs in the UK, I reckon. Perfect for sunset chilling and enjoying life! Here is the view! The upper terrace view is astounding! Great drinks. Very friendly staff.

Haven't frequented Fairway Buoy innyears, tends to be a tourist haunt but we were in the village to watchbthe massive storm surge, and high tide so thought we'd warm up with a coffee.its was a little tight for space but we were served promptly and managed to snag the front seats as a family left. A great view, warm and pleasant. What's notnto love? Gave the food 5 stars as they allow you to bring chips in from the fantastic chippie just around the corner. Never tried the Fairway buoys offerings. Coffee was nice and well finished. There are benches out front just set back from the promenade for sunny days.

Very rude bar staff… served people before me when I had been waiting longer. Not very welcoming at all.

Like new refurb. Good service spirts on tv. Have not eaten. Great location jyst wish sun stayed out.

Lovely place to drink and eat at

Hmm. Stood at the bar to order drinks - was steadfastly ignored for quite a while. Ordered from a table on the balcony - took 15 minutes from flash to bang. Not impressed.

This was a nice place but I won't be going back. I am a disabled lady, and the ladies' toilets are upstairs. There isn't a disabled toilet on the ground floor When I mentioned it to the staff, I was told it was lack of space However, the gents toilet was on the ground floor. I had to walk upstairs, which was extremely painful. On bad days, I use a wheelchair, so the toilet would be completely out of the question. This seems very much like discrimination to me.

First time visiting since the remodeling of the Fairway Buoy, and a very pleasant surprise! Shame about Formula One on the TV (I'm a biker!), but seriously it was a very good 'pit stop' (pun intended) after a brasing walk along the beech.

Located on the promenade at Westward Ho! and showcasing stunning views over the beach and the spectacular Atlantic rollers. Nice view but it was quite dirty place to enjoy it. I wanted to order a food but I changed my mind. Unfortunately.

This is the place to end your day, a couple of drinks watching the sun set and the waves roll in on another day, wonderful. Staff amicable & friendly good choice of beers wines & spirits. Great location right on the promenade looking over the sea.

Thought my wife & I would try this place today(15/08/23) and what a disappointment…ordered off the app but would of been quicker to go to the bar. Also barman needs to learn some manners & take lessons in customer service….very rude when my wife spoke to him. Finally when we did get our drinks there was a strong smell of someone smoking weed….will not be using this bar again.

The sun was out there was music playing and it took me back to Ibiza sort of. Loads of different seating to sit and people watch. At table service through their app which was quick. Felt completely different to the pubs round the green. Sit and watch the sun go down with a cocktail

It was a good coffee shop and we could take our dog in.

Great little spot to sit and eat. They don’t offer food here but we was aloud to get food elsewhere and then eat it here, once we ordered some drinks. Staff were friendly enough and great views from the outdoor seating area

Outside area is lovely with stunning views across westward ho the inside is tiny not many tables the staff were friendly service was good they don't do food but pizza truck outside which u can take inside to eat! Only had a hot choc which was amazing on wet&windy day

Terrible service, waited 40 minutes fir 5 drinks and it wasn't even busy. Use the app, but would have been quicker to order at bar.

A bar right on the seafront, we visited on a warm Friday evening when it was lively with a DJ playing club music. Big age range from young children to grandparents. Bars had long queues and prices varied depending on who severed you!! Great to watch sun set with a drink in hand.

We really enjoyed our time there.

Quick service anf a nice atmosphere

We came down for a few days break for the first time to Westward Ho. We found this lovely bar on the first day and went back to it every day. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The atmosphere made it so welcoming. Well done everyone!! Highly recommend!!

Absolutely delightful spot inside for a drink after a coastal walk. The interior was very fresh, clean, and modern. Staff and service were great! Also, dog friendly. Great little visit on a chilly and wet April's day, yet it was still quite full.

Friendly staff and environment, had a nice slice of cake which went down well with a pint. We sat in the garden area as the weather was lovely the day we visited and top it off this place is by the water so we had lovely views.

Our go to place/local. Best place to enjoy the sea views and staff always great.
