This place is my new favourite place to go for breakfast in Westward Ho! The service was excellent, such a lovely couple!! The food quality was top notch! The sausages were from the butchers next door and my Dad especially loved the thick sliced toast from the bakery too! All round brilliant 🤩 we will definitely be back!!

Visited this cafe for breakfast on 15/12/23 - what a find. The people are warm, friendly and professional. The quality of ingredients is 1st class and well cooked and presented well on the plate. The prices for this standard of service, ingredients and setting are below those of other cafes, hotels and pubs in Westward Ho! The cafe is also a gift shop and supports local artists therefore is a tad above the aforementioned establishments mentioned earlier. I strongly recommend visiting this gem of a place as for service,ambience, quality of ingredients,friendliness of staff you would be hard pushed to find any place as good in this village. I have been coming to Westward Ho! For over 50 years and this is the best breakfast cafe without doubt here. Please give the Wooley Surfer a visit as the owner will realise what he has in this village is special and therefore will increase his prices as I suggested he does. A MUST TRY IF IN THIS AREA.

This place is amazing! It is absolutely great value for money, very friendly staff, and the food was huge!!! Lovely place that is dog friendly too. Do not miss when in Westward Ho!

Fantastic little gem of a place. We only had a coffee as we'd had a late breakfast but my goodness £2.80 for a cappuccino and a large one at that. The soup and door step bread looked lovely and for £5 very good value for money. Will definitely return to eat next time.

Memories is a great restaurant, the food is amazing, always fresh and delicious. The service is also great, friendly and helpful without any faff. We have been several times with friends who live locally and know that they have to book months in advance. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

East Dodscott FarmWe booked Sherry and her team to cater for our parents funeral in April 2025. They provided their catering service at a separate venue to the Old Farm House tea rooms… and catered for 200 people. After booking their service we visited the tea rooms and discussed what food we would like included in the buffet. They were happy to cater for our requests, and some of my parents old favourites were made and placed amongst the buffet. The food and presentation were wonderful, we had lots of comments from people attending about the quality of the food, with several people saying it was the best buffet they had tasted….. From a personal point of view Sherry was excellent and we did not need to worry about anything on the day or the lead up to it. Thank you so much for being part of the wonderful send off for our parents.

49 Mill Street BidefordSecond time visiting (on holiday from London). Superb food, as good as it was on our last visit about three years ago. Moules were delicious, and the chocolate torte and peach galette were both sublime. The staff are wonderful, attentive but not cloying. This is a gem of a restaurant and hopefully it will be around for many years.

Weare GiffardLovely pub, very welcoming landlord and landlady. Food was really good, excellent price. We were not made to feel like outsiders as we were visiting the area. Exactly as a pub should be.
