Lovely food and staff are always welcoming. Had a slight hiccup on the bill as we had paid a deposit, but they sorted it out swiftly without any issues.

Staff are lovely.First I would like to say They advertise a buffet and When we came their were around 14 options,And When we have arrived and ended The food barley got changed.They added water to the curry but not adding chicken as well as it comes with chicken.The food was very average for spending £30For two people.I would not recommend coming here Especially for the buffet…

We were accommodated for an early dinner at short notice and loved our mains, stir-fried beef and noodles. We don’t often eat Thai food because we’re not sure how it’s made, but this place did an excellent job. Lovely evening meal experience.

We are local to westward ho seen all can it buffet thought would give it a go . Welcomed by staff which were nice then told once got plates got an hour Few choices of starters which were soggy salad which run out and not topped up Mains could tell was sat around too while sat seen water added to the curry not topped up fresh.For price defo not worth it Did voice it to manger when paid didnt seemed worried and carried on took money.

It was alright, to be honest. It is sat right next to the beach and you can see the open space opposite the restaurant witch also has a playing park. Not sure what it is like during the winter so maybe a bit less busy but even with a small wait it was worth it. There is a car park not to far from the restaurant and it is nice to walk of the meal afterwards all along the beach and enjoy the views of Lundy or the North Devon coast

Very busy inside but we found seating outside which was lovely in.the afternoon sun, service was select food and pay at the bar which is fine gluten free available for better half. Food was very good.

The food at Morans was exceptional! We had the yellow curry with beef at our server’s recommendation, and the duck spring rolls were amazing too. I didn’t catch his name but the server (tall young man with brown hair, maybe called Flynn?) was incredible.

A flavour sensation. The Thai Green has a nice kick to it, the Massaman is delightful, even the dipping sauces are next level. Ideally located in the heart of Westward Ho! Friendly and helpful staff.

A real gem of a restaurant. Modern, tasteful and comfortable seating. Attentive and friendly staff and an absolutely fantastic meal. Couldn’t choose so we had all 4 starters we fancied (there was 2 of us)…..veg spring rolls, tempura prawns, squid and satay chicken. All incredible. Then the yellow curry and teriyaki pork belly. We’ve had a lot of Thai food in the UK and in Thailand and this was one of our favourites. Do book in advance to make sure you don’t miss out on this place.

We dine here semi regularly as we are locals. Really lovely authentic Thai food in a family run establishment. Decently priced and a wide variety of dishes with a dedicated vegan menu. Highly recommend. Wheelchair accessible although the automatic door button has been broken every time we have visited which means wheelchair users will need assistance to enter and exit. This nullifies the point of accessibility features and really needs to be addressed. Large disabled bathroom on premises.

Food was good wine choice was limited. Australian wine 🍷 was reasonable but bit expensive.

Amazing experience - we only went in to order food to take away but were very impressed with the atmosphere, staff and look of the restaurant. Moena was very pleasant and helpful 🥰 Food was 10/10 we had the green and yellow curries which were perfect! Would definitely recommend!

What a find! We came here for lunch over Easter and had opportunity to try a selection of their dishes. Really tasty, authentic tasting Thai food- great value for money and you can see the owners have put a great deal of thought and attention to detail to making the place what it is. So excited to find this place in North Devon!

We went to the bottomless brunch and it was brilliant. The cocktails kept coming ( and they were lovely) it was Hawaiian themed ...so good! The staff were excellent and the food was plentiful and delicious.

We’ve always had a great meal here (and been coming for many years), the food is really authentic, tasty, well priced and nothing for the team is too much trouble. Absolutely love it, if you’re in the area well worth a visit

We came with the dog hoping to eat in the outside seating, which was closed (totally understandable with the season and weather!). The staff were super helpful in helping me order a takeaway instead, even finding me a paper cup to take a pepsi out in. The food was quick, lots of choice for vegans, and it was delicious! I don't often leave reviews but the service was so good that I had too. The inside is super nice too, would definitely go back to eat in if we were ever in the area.

Such a shame as we were looking forward to this meal as my partner loves Thai food however we were left pretty disappointed, we were given a massaman curry instead of a yellow Thai which was on our receipt and the tempura prawns were in a thick batter not tempura.. Would like to return to re-try but as it’s not cheap we’d be afraid of mistakes happening again

We had a takeaway from Morans last night and it was SO good! Thoroughly enjoyed everything we tried, but the chicken satay and yellow curry were particularly tasty. Would definitely recommend.

Distinctly average. Not the word thai I've had, defintely not the best. It's a nice place and the service is fair, but the food just did not feel authentic. I've eaten here a few times. The first time was good, but since then have just not been that impressed. But it is popular and has a good atmosphere, so it must work for some.

The food was very good the taster (set meal) menu is a great starter for those new to Thai food. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was excellent and beautifully presented. A great meal. Thanks.

Fantastic monkfish yellow curry on the specials, the best we’ve tasted. Desserts were cheesecakes and ice cream, also good. Wheelchair access great.

We are on holiday for the week. Called up earlier today to try and book a table but they were very busy so decided to get a take away. Wow, the food was amazing. I was very impressed and definitely agree with everyone else's 5 star reviews. The masaman curry and yellow curry were cooked to perfection and the pad thai was very fresh! I've had many Thai take aways but this one beats them all. Called up, collected food in 1 hr and it was all packaged very nicely too. Going home tomorrow and I'm very happy we got to sample the food Book in advance as I'm sure the dining experience will be amazing

Been meaning to go here for a while but not got around to it. I have heard good things about it for a while and I would say that it exceed all that I have been told. The service was excellent and the food was beautifully cooked. We will be going back.

I've eaten here a few years ago and enjoyed it, but this time was a little disappointing. Pork Belly was, well tough. And the beef dish was very ... Let's say light on the portion size and the taste was okay. Maybe I was just unlucky, as I hear it's usually rather nice

Our Family had a really enjoyable time, The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is on another level, very tasty. I always say if a restaurant is fully booked it's speaks volumes so book early at Morans.

Staying in westward Ho for the week we love Thai food so thought we would give this restaurant a go. Got a little dog so opted for take away. OMG it is absolutely superb!!! The restaurant is really modern and very clean with a welcoming ambience along with very polite and accommodating staff. The food is to die for, absolutely delicious! and every bit as good as our favourite Thai restaurant back home in Bournemouth. We can highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely go back for more before we leave Westward Ho. Thank you Morans and all staff and chefs too. 1st class!!!

Wanted to go here last year but never made so went this time round. Well worth the visit food was superb. We had salt and pepper squid and the crispy pork belly to start and both were amazing. The mains we had the weeping tiger which was succulent and the sauce was to die for and my husband had pad Thai which was also very nice. We also had chocolate torte for dessert and that was delicious. We'll worth a visit but make sure you book a table. The ladies toilets are amazing also offering alot to there customers.

Absolutely delicious Thai food. I had a very hot and delicious vegetable green curry and my partner a really excellent pad Thai, which was one of the best I've ever tasted in the UK. Staff were also very nice and the restaurant looked like it had a lovely ambience.

Morans is a lively and buzzing restaurant. Unfortunately for us, we waited 40 minutes for our drinks, approx 1 hour for our starter and 2 hours for our main. The pork belly that my mother in law received was pure fat and undercooked skin. The rest of the food was lovely.

Beautiful venue, wonderful attentive but not too much staff. Amazing toilets, so clean and enjoyable. We felt the food, although tasty and bright didn't quite get there. Belly pork had alot of fat on it, to be expected we know but 80% fat on some slices? Not much heat from spices as the menu says, the sweet chilli sauce was hotter. We loved the place, the view from the window, the staff, lovely staff , I'd employ them in a heartbeat. Food really was lovely but if looking for a bit more spice, ask for more and I'm sure they'd accommodate you

I found this place welcoming, well presented and with a good atmosphere. The food and service was superb. I have read some negative reviews but I am convinced that these are undeserving. For example, I sat behind a couple who arrived after me and were complaining about slow service before I'd finished my starter and they were talking about the main course. They were small minded, narrow minded grumps. My conclusion is that Westward Ho! is a bit too 'kiss-me-quick' and there's an expectation of fast food for every situation. Ignore the fast food crowd. This is a cool, funky and tasty restaurant.

We chose take away as the restaurant is so noisy - people talking loudly to be heard over the (unnecessary) music. Our take-away last weekend from Morans was very disappointing. . This is not authentic Thai food as there was no chilli heat or spices, it was very bland.

My favourite restaurant by far. Great selection and fantastic taste. We eat in and have takeaway. The cocktails are excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Outstanding Asian cuisine, lovely venue and staff

Have been before went over Easter and ended up walking out. Table not ready on arrival. Half an hour to be asked what drinks we wanted, then we had to chase them up after 15 mins. Starter came ok. Main courses came no cutlery waited and waited then had to ask for some - gave up and left. Food maybe good but the level of service is shocking!!! Won’t be going again

Shared an evening with friends on their wedding anniversary. Lovely food and competitive price wise with other restaurants. Service was good and we had a most pleasant evening.

Slow service and nobody managing the staff

Service is non existent. Waited 15mins to be seen, the question waitress asked was can I get you any food? No offer for drinks, no apology for the wait, no upselling of cocktails or your specials. Pork ribs were amazing, spring rolls luke warm, no oppornity to let you know as there was no check back. Mains arrived with one rice short, but again as the service non existent nobody really there to fix it for you. Had to go to the bar and ask for the bill, and pay for the bill. If owners cuddled less behind the bar and put the same efforts into your customer experience you would be scoring 5 out of 5....

Me and my parents stayed in Bideford for a few days and after reading reviews we decided to try Morans. I can say that it lived up to the expectations we had after reading so many 5 star reviews. We arrived and parked just across the road as it’s off season the parking was free. We started with prawn gyoza (on the specials) prawn tempura and the pork belly. We had pad prig Thai dum, pad grapraw and pad key mao for our mains. The food was delicious and arrived very quickly, I was very impressed as a Thai food enthusiast I was not let down. The food was delicious, it was the perfect heat too as my family are huge fans of spicy food. The staff were attentive and very friendly too, overall a really enjoyable experience. When we are next in westward ho we will not hesitate to book again!

Came here between Christmas and New Years and never have had a bad experience dining in or having take-away. Staff are always pleasant and quick, cocktails are fab and food is always delicious and portions are generous, we always go for the set menu as we get to try a good selection of dishes. This is one of my favourite places to go for a nice meal out

Food excellent. Staff excellent. Shame about it being cold. No heating on. No hot water in cloakrooms and freezing in there. Heard staff comment it’s cold. Shame on the penny pinching and making it uncomfortable for paying customers.

Decided to make the drive over to eat in. Had 3 courses … pork to start amazing ! Then followed by the green curry with coconut rice . And to finish a chocolate torte. Cannot fault the food one bit tastes amazing the chefs are doing a great job . Also service on point . Would visit again .

Wow!! Here on a weekend away, they squeezed us in. Amazing food, good service and great staff. My only disappointing moment was as the waitress cleared the table she knocked over 1/2 a pint of my beer I hadn't finished, apologied but didn't offer to replace it.
