My hubby and I have had lunch takeouts quite a few times from these lovely ladies. Very tasty, good value for money and very accommodating as hubby wanted curry n chips. He cant eat food too spicy so, guess what? With a little advanced notice, he was able to have a mild curry n chips which was amazing. I had the meatball baguette.. awesome .. go there! Do it! Eat and be amazed 😁

Very friendly. Great food. Even better than we expected. Don't go expecting posh surroundings. The entrance gate made us laugh then we just enjoyed it thereafter.

These comments are confined to a South African themed evening. It is possible that a qualified chef works during the day hence the enthusiastic reviews elsewhere. Frankly we were taken for mugs. The South African theme decor was confined to two flags attached to an unlit lamp on our table. Not even the background music appeared to be South African themed. The menu was extremely limited and was pre-publicised. So you would think that the menu choices would be available. Just three menu choices: beef or oxtail curry or an extremely over priced platter. There was no beef curry available despite the fact that there were no more than 10 other customers in the cafe and we had prebooked and been forced to part with £16 deposit. Had this not been the case we would have probably left without delay after bring told that no beef was available. Obviously the chef could not be bothered to go to the butchers. After a shared, tiny bowl of biltong the platter arrived consisting of half a cheese and tomato toastie, four tiny pieces of boerwurst (each piece was the size of half an average finger), some maize meal served in a tangy sauce and two small twisted burnt lamb chops. These were so brown that you could not differentiate between fat, bone and meat. This platter cost a whopping £18!!. My score is generous in the circumstances and I advise other potential customers to avoid being taken in by the cafe's hype on social media. The host spent a lot of time that evening laughing, probably at our expense.

My husband and I are frequent visitors of the White Hart for a reason. Jon, Tammy and all of the staff are just amazing. On behalf of myself and my family, I would like to extend our gratitude for all The White Hart did in the preparations of my lovely Gran's Wake. Everyone commented on how lovely the food was, how nice the staff are and how my Gran would have loved it there. We are so very grateful. X

Went for a Sunday carvery for my dad's birthday and it was the best carvery we have had for a very long time. Staff were lovely and nothing was too much. Quick service. Owners were very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was very clean and tidy and very reasonably priced. We played darts and pool for a few hours after and we really enjoyed our afternoon. Cant fault it in any way. Thank you 😊

We ate here a few months ago and it was ok not really inspiring, we re-visited last week and were very impressed, there was menu with plenty of choice and also a set menu for £20 for 3 courses, we ate of this and it was brilliant, lovely dishes, presented very nicely and the service was much improved also.

Not an enjoyable experience I'm afraid. Noodles in Roast Beef Chow Mein slimey (would compare consistency to a tin of spaghetti). The chicken in the chicken balls was mushy for the entire portion and the sweet and sour sauce was runny and another disappointment. There is not one good thing I can say about the food I'm afraid and a total waste of money. The one positive was the friend young girl who served us.
