The best restaurants in Bideford North Torridge South West

Excellent cafe for a lovely breakfast sandwich. Hot chocolate with oats milk and coffee for my other half. Really friendly and welcoming will certainly call here again when in Bideford.

Another absolutely brilliant meal . This was our second visit and it was just as spectacular as the first . Food , cocktails, ambience everything was just perfect .

I am here on holiday, and had to revisit this beautiful cafe to once again have their lemon scones cream tea. They are to die for! It is always so clean and airy here, and Michael, the owner, is so welcoming. And his lemon scones are the best! Sounds wrong , but trust me, they are amazing! The best cafe ive been in. If you are in the area you must pay it a visit.

Walked in here the other day with several members of family, all looking for a hot snack. There was no menu or food displayed in window so 7-8 of us walked in. Whilst ordering we were told to leave (whilst some were still deciding). This was apparently as if the shop looked busy, then other potential customers wouldn’t come in. Poor attitude

What an amazing place. A Christian cafe in Bideford with a crazy stunning look! Sofas, tables made from old cast iron machine bases, amazing food and atmosphere and as for the hot chocolate - my boys love it. Pete and Brioney and family make you feel so welcome. If you are visiting Bideford or locals like we are, this is a ‘must visit’ experience. Like me, I suspect you will keep on going back!

In search of a snack on a wet and cold March lunchtime, we happily chose The Little Coffee Cup. An excellent sandwich, made to order by very friendly ladies. Highly recommended.

Great service, lovely little shop inside the Pannier Market. Defo need to try when visiting the area, will not be disappointed

Ordered 2 ham salad and coleslaw sandwiches,with grannerie bread, so much filling of ham salad tomato cucumber lettuce and coleslaw, one of the best sandwiches we have ever tasted, also very good price, highly recommend,

This wonderful intimate restaurant serves food that is simply out of this world. The owners - Lydia and Florian have lovingly created something really special. The service is warm and welcoming, the interior, quirky and full of personality, the atmosphere is enhanced by the thoughtfully chosen and eclectic playlist and the food is the best I've tasted. You literally can't go wrong, whether it's the juicy yet delicate scallops, the complex flavours of the Bouillabaisse, the delectable mussels or the insanely delicious steak served with bone marrow. The house red is robust, fruity and rich and the cheeseboard offers a marvellous selection. For dessert lovers, the nutty creme brulee is a must-try and works really well when paired with an amaretto over ice. If you are looking for your next date-night gem please go and visit Le Petit Monde it's a little world that deserves exploration!!

Lovely surroundings with efficient and friendly staff. Food was delicious and well cooked although portion of calamari starter was a little small in comparison to 3 large ravioli. Love to have lingered longer but had a bus to catch which we only just managed! Will definitely return when we’re in the area again. Good value for money considering the food and service quality.

Was looking forward as reviews were all 5 star Very disappointed. Had to order cannelloni in advance ,wasn’t quite sure why but I did It was disappointingly bland and not offered any Parmesan No menus offered for others and options gabbled at them Only Pinot as a white wine no cider or alcohol free beer Came to coffee no milk , forgotten to get any !!! Was the explanation and had only 1 packet of sugar Sorry won’t be returning ,
