The best restaurants in Tormohun Torbay South West

It was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had and I have eaten a lot of breakfast definitely five star would recommend it to anyone

Great little place serving fabulous coffees and the best mocha for only £1.50! Everywhere else charging £3+ each. Food amazing, got daily specials. It'll be our go to place when we visit Torquay.

Lovely comfortable hotel. Beautiful accommodation and surroundings. Service in the restaurant was not the same standard as our previous visit which was disappointing. It's a shame because the food is excellent.

Called in while visiting my elderly mother for a cold drink and a taxi number. The owner rang a taxi for us which had a 45 minute wait so he gave us a lift in his own car! He would not accept any money off us. We were overwhelmed by his act of kindness and we won't forget him in a hurry....thankyou so much...you're a star ✨️

Just arrived back from this lovely hotel. Everything was 5 star, and although I didn't use the pool it looked lovely and the lounge, conservatory were so relaxing - even sitting there in the rain enjoying the ambiance. Thank you Nikki and John for making it such a pleasurable experience.

This is our favourite fish restaurant in the world. When we visit Torquay we always visit & mine host, Paul, always pleasant, friendly & helpful. Ambiance is great with a cosy upstairs wine bar for pre dinner drinks. It’s all about the food though & where fish is concerned nowhere better. We’ve been dining there since 2009 & can’t recommend too highly. As the review title says “never disappoints”

Taste good but I would not say it’s the best Japanese food that I have ever tried. Not as authentic as I thought it would be based on people’s comments. Portion isn’t huge. The service is amazing. The shop is run by two Japanese lady.

Death Row Meal. One of the most memorable tasting meals we’ve ever eaten. A true mouth journey. This would be my last meal request if I was on death row. I would like your sourdough bread as coffin pillows and embalming in your mushroom butter. Thank you for an amazing meal.

Some.bars and shops. Good access to the water via large but busy slipway. Plenty of parking nearby but be warned it's very expensive and very active/over the top/extremely prompt ticketing from wardens. Torbay council need to take a look at themselves.

Met with a friend and ventured into town for the first time in a very long time. We popped in upon passing looking to get some lunch and what a beautiful little gem this is. Quirky and unique and the food was lovely. Will definitely be back.

A nice gem overlooking the harbour open all year round with a great atmosphere and staff who are friendly And professional. There is live music on occasion which is always good. Quality are very welcome and evening there is a fantastic vibe.

After I thoroughly confused the guy serving about what I wanted, we ended up with warm scones… not the end of the world, we just had to wait a bit longer. I will say that their cream tea is a dream. Scones are exceptional! Not all cream teas are made the same, and the quality of the scones dictate this. Excellent scones and fruit to boot!
