Great food and the woman is stunning

Superb sandwiches and great value for money, 5 star hygiene rating. The baps we had were very large and well filled. This place is a little gem if you are staying anywhere in the area.

I can honestly say this place is my absolute favourite place for breakfast in torquay. Food is always delicious, everyone is always super friendly and helpful.... I cannot stress enough how amazing this place is.

So as I approached this place. I wasn’t expecting anything more than average food. I used to run a breakfast delivery company that was actually quite successful and none of the food I cooked tasted as good as this. Mega bap I believe I have just eaten. And needed to write this review. I’m literally in the middle of plastering a wall and my set is going off on me. Amazing food!!!!!

The sausages and bacon are no longer freshly cooked or even heated up, they are pulled from a container, lukewarm. Because nothing is hot, the baps and bread are not warm either. I've been 4 times since they took over to give them a chance but I won't be going back. This 'was' the best but is now mediocre at best.

Usual friendly service and tasty food

I happened on this eatery by chance in feburary and was very plesently surprised by the price and quality of the Bacon Bap I had, as a bit of a foody I was delighted by the very tasty roll and bacon, my daughter had a cheesy thing which she demolished in short order, I also bought some rolls totake home it was that good. Highly Recommended.

Top notch, always friendly, looks after us on cold mornings with Tea and foot long baguettes!

Footlong breakfast baguette is recommended (you won't believe the price). Plus you get a free tea and coffee with every meal

The shop doesn't look very spectacular from the outside, but the sandwiches are amazing, you can make lots of special requests and Simon is super nice.

We visited twice during our stay and both times we had missed the corned beef (first time too late, second time too early). The baps were huge and so the second time we chose sandwiches. Would use again if in the area as they're nice and fresh. Staff friendly, service great and premises clean.

Stopped by (once again) for a couple of breakfast sandwiches and once again, the same great food, staff and prices ... I honestly can't fault the service that Simon and his wife provide. A hardworking couple that deserve all the success that deserve! Keep it up Simon (err ... the food that is).

Popped in here after forgetting lunch for work as recently needing a lunch that will not upset my stomach intolerance, needing a salad I found everyone here so helpful and did there best to sort me out being very hungry at the time and your lettuce was so crisp infact everything was so fresh and the ham delicious! All I can say is I will be back for more ! Thank you 10/10

Served by a really friendly guy, the chips were freshly cooked and really nice- my colleagues agreed. Only £1.30 for a large portion that I couldn't finish on my own.

Superb bacon egg sausage etc baps , rolls. Great little place in torre. Always friendly and excellent food. There is always the days newspapers to read if you don't fancy the banter with the owner, which I do to be honest! Little gem of a place if I am honest. Always my go to for a sandwich or breakfast roll. The best in Torquay!

Great value for money, good friendly local service

I work nearby and occasionally we do an office order for breakfast. Easily the best breakfast bap I've tasted. I normally go for the egg and bacon which is consistently delicious. Loads of lean bacon with a lovely runny yolk in the egg. Yum!! Highly recommended!!

This place never disappoints! The sandwiches are amazing. Simon and his wife run a tight ship here - it's all spot on and we highly recommend it to friends and family (they say the the same as us). I'll continue to stop by this little gem of a find!

We are local to the area and use bread and butter quite often. Lovely food, great service and friendly asmosphere.

The food is great, the staff are very friendly and polite. The quality and the choice of fillings hot or cold are superb.

A friendly family run sandwich bar which serves freshly cooked food to order which is reasonably priced. You are able to either eat in or take away the food depending upon your circumstances.

Me and my workmates go in every morning and they never fail to deliver. Really friendly people work there too. Thank you guys!

What a fab place . Were doing a hotel refurb ( the old kistor ) . Use the cafe on a daily weekly basis . Phone the order through .delivery on time for the guys at 10:00...not one complaint . I recommend the footlong breaky...

Me trasladé a principios de febrero y la zona encontramos este lugar caminando. Ha sido un regalo del cielo. He dirigido un pequeño B&B; en Avenue Road en Torquay y este es el lugar que a mi me gusta ir cuando necesite un descanso de mi cocina. La comida es de primera calidad y una excelente relación calidad-precio (la 1 baguette de desayuno de ft se alimentan a dos personas fácilmente).

Great value well cooked fresh of the grill. Good hangover cure . Local deliveries too . Happy cheery staff make the visit worthwhile

I always receive a cheery welcome from the staff and the food is delicious and made to order. They go out of their way to help and even offer a delivery service free of charge.I would highly recommend the foot longs (if you're man/woman enough)! The shop is a hub of activity and no one is ignored or left waiting no matter how busy they are. I especially like the red head lady who is always bubbly and greets everyone with a smile :)

Me and my partner regularly use bread & butter for late breakfast, the bread is always fresh and the food has always been hot on delivery and of a good standard. The owners are always happy and jolly, we would now consider them friends. I recommend ordering from bread & butter as they never disappoint. Found bakery on walkabout. Produced & sold in own shop so all items are individually made. Nice sausage rolls, bread, donuts all tasted homemade. Pricier than supermarkets but still reasonable. Long may they continue.
